The Men Who Would Be Prime Minister

Tomorrow we will know who who is going to be te UK's Prime Minister for the next few years (although the result is pretty much a foregone conclusion, but what do we know about the contenders, never mind the schmatlzy eulogies about their early lives and family backgounds, what do thse two shysters actually stand for.

Our best chance to judge came in last week's televised debate

For the incumbent, Rishi Sunak, who actually got an easier time than 'Sir' Keir Starmer, defender of terorists, enabler of rapists, promoter of 'chicks-with dicks' and 'men with mammaries' ideology, lockdown enthusiast, campaigner for open borders, surrenderer of sovereignty, friend of paedophiles, supporter of anti - semitism, apologist for warmongers and general gobshite, it was an oportunity to show he has a personality, but like an inept footballer he missed an open goal.

The most awkward challenge to Rishi was the squalid election betting scandal which had revealed that several of his close aides had placed bets on the date of the election only a few days before it was announced.  But a more substantive – and pretty much unanswerable – demand came from  audience member Harry Cole who wanted to know why, if the prime minister had so many effective government measures to offer now that he was running for re-election, he had not introduced them already. 

All told though, Sunak survived this. Nothing he said actually seemed to infuriate the audience.

The same could not be said of Sir Keir. On at least two topics, he induced what looked like genuine anger and frustration: his explanation of how he would stop the boats and seize control of migration would not wash. Sending would-be asylum seekers back to their home countries – as an astute member of the audience pointed out – was not a realistic option. Many of these boat people arrived without passports or documentation so it was effectively impossible to identify their countries of origin. And smashing the smuggling gangs was equally untenable because they were largely located outside this country. Nobody was buying the Labour story on this.

A rather more personal, weak point was his erstwhile support for Jeremy Corbyn. If you now claim to have been lying when you proclaimed that Mr Corbyn would make a great prime minister, said an audience member, why should we believe what you say now? Might you not be lying to us again? That was deadly because it goes to the heart of both the Starmer character and the credibility of Labour as what its leader describes as a “changed party”.

If Starmer can be a right hand man and ”close friend” to Corbyn, a Putin supporter, only 4 years ago, and then say he only supported him because “he knew he wouldn’t be elected”, then his duplicity is frightening. To also say that if a family member needed Private health care to survive, then he wouldn’t use it, then such callousness is even more frightening. The fact that he also did not vote for replacement of Trident would have now left us totally exposed to Putin’s current nuclear threats. I suppose he would say that he knew that his vote didn’t make any difference so he didn’t really mean it!

With commitments to throw even more money into the collapsing State Sector rather than face up to the need to dismantle their archaic bureaucracies, whilst also increasing taxes on the wealthy and businesses will simply result in them relocating off shore. The future under a Labour government looks extremely bleak and will certainly be far worse that the fourteen years of Tory misrule. The socialists will again be asking the World Bank for a bale out, a repeat of the financial collapse of the 70s, when highest tax rate was 98% and interest rates 16% with similar rates of inflation plus mass strikes, with the dead not being buried. 

Labour most emphatically have not changed.A leopard doesn’t change its spots. The extreme left of the party are quietly biding their time. If Labour win the general election they will not be slow in imposing their will.Just be very careful what you wish for.

Other than that it was all old news in the debate as it has been throughout the campaign, over and over again we heard the usual prepared lines from both party leaders. Sunak was like a broken record. I think he made the same promise about 'let me cut your taxes or you'll see them soar under Starmer' about thirty times. What was new was the ridiculous line he took about not suspending his candidates. "We have to wait for the authorities to finish their investigations, we can't prejudice this very serious matter". For heaven's sake, one candidate has already confessed! The others have left their jobs and gone to ground. It's not a complicated issue: they either bet just before the election announcement or they didn't and if they didn't why have they left their posts? They cheated and they broke the law. He should have sacked them on the spot, instead he failed to disassociate himself from the sleaze.  

Starmer on the other hand talked a lot about 'delivering the change the country needs without actually defining what he was going to change, Nelson's column into a banana? Stonehenge into a shoping centre? Buckingham Palace into accomodation for asylum seekers?

The only conclusion a voter can come to is that whoever wins we're fucked.

How fucked are we, you might well ask.

We're fucking fucked.

SStarmer exposes his sinister socialist plans for British One Party State

Sir Keir Starmer’s attack on the Conservative Party manifesto brought into sharp relief a question many have been brooding on for some time. Speaking in Middlesbrough, the Labour leader described the document as “a Jeremy Corbyn-style manifesto” full of unfunded pledges.

Set aside the fact that Sir Keir campaigned on precisely such a manifesto as a shadow minister in 2019, praising Mr Corbyn’s plans for offering “hope to the millions who have suffered after nine years of the Tories”. Set aside, too, his decision to run for the Labour leadership with a set of Corbynite pledges “based on the moral case for socialism”, or the questionable implication that his own plans are fully funded.

Instead consider the following question: Starmer has forcefully articulated what he is against. He is against Rishi Sunak, against Liz Truss, against Jeremy Corbyn, and against Sir Keir Starmer (2019-2021). But what is he actually for?

The assault on private schools, for instance, appears to be motivated by little more than class envy. The British tax system bends over backwards to avoid levying charges on education, which makes sense if you see education as a way of building skills: rather than tax the initial investment, you tax the eventual return (in this case, income).

Charging VAT on private school fees gets this perfectly backwards. It will discourage spending on education beyond the minimum provided by the state, push students back into state schools, and quite likely destroy the jobs of teachers who had the audacity to prefer the pay and conditions offered by private schools.

The curious thing is that Labour is clearly aware of these costs. Emily Thornberry admitted on air at the weekend that state school class sizes might have to increase, while teaching unions have issued public warnings about the potential effects on jobs. There are clearly less disruptive ways of raising revenue, if that’s the aim of the policy.

There are better ways of improving equality of opportunity, too. Access to good state schools – of the sort that many prominent Labour figures have attended – is still governed by the ability to pay. If you wanted to live near a top primary school in 2019, you could expect to pay £27,000 more for your home, for a top secondary, an extra £25,000. As a bonus, you would benefit from the efforts of elite universities to recruit state school pupils, and avoid having your child mix with scholarship boys from the lower orders.

To paraphrase the Canadian psychologist Jordan Peterson, the Labour Party is driven less by its great love of working Britons – who its MPs appear to suspect of holding inappropriate views on a swathe of social issues – than it is by its dislike of the rich. The assault on private education fits perfectly into this schema, and the suspicion is that the party’s other tax policies will, too.

Sunak Backtracks After Reports UK Was To To Send British Troops To Ukraine

UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak was quick to deny reports in some of today's newspapers claiming that British troops were to be sent to join the military effort in Ukraine.  Newly appointed Defense Secretary Grant Shapps had started spouting verbal diarrhea after meeting with defence chiefs in which, it was claimed, discussions about expanding the training program for Ukrainian troops in Britain, and potentially sending British instructors and 'technical advisers' to work in the country alongside Ukrainian Armed Forces combatants. Shapps also mentioned the possibility of offering naval support to the Ukrainian fleet in the Black Sea.

After visiting the Army's Salisbury Plain training ground on Friday, Shapps told reporters “I was talking today about eventually getting the training brought closer and actually into Ukraine as well.”

During his first trip abroad as Defence Minister, a ttrip to Kiev earlier this week in which his mission was to kiss Zelensky's arse and pacify him after, the new d recent hostile reception the Ukrainian President was given by Republican lawmakers opposed to shovelling more American taxpayers' money down that particular toilet Shapps apparently saw an “opportunity” to bring more things “in country.” Shapps explained he meant “not just training,” but also weapons manufacturing.

I’m keen to see British companies do their bit as well by localising manufacturing in Ukraine. So I think there will be a move to get more training and production in the country,” he added.

Shapps also reportedly told Zelenskyyyy that Britain’s Navy could play a role in “defending commercial vessels” in the Black Sea. Zelenskys reply is not reported but we imagine he migh have asked Shapps to move the entire Royal Air Force east.

Obviously Shapps, whose reputation for idiocy was already well established, was well out of order here, he has no authority to escalate Britain's role in the war without first seeking the approval of parliament. However it didn't take long for two things to happen: i) Russia warning that any move to implement Shapps' proposals would accelerate to momentum towards WW3, and ii) the more level headed politicians in UK started backpedalling.

Today former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev currently the deputy head of Russia’s Security Council, stated that British soldiers training Ukrainian troops in Ukraine would be legitimate targets for Russian forces, as would German factories producing Taurus missiles should they supply Kyiv. If either of these things were to happen it would be considered an attack on a NATO member and bring the whole of the alliance into direct conflict with Russia. Medvedev has throughout the war been one of the most hawkish and anti-Western figures in Russian politics, and added such steps by the West were bringing World War Three closer.

In a post on Telegram, Medvedev first slammed Shapps's proposal to deploy military instructors to Ukraine, in addition to training Ukrainian armed forces in Britain or other Western countries as at present.

Medvedev then addresed a similar warning to Germany, vilifying those who want Berlin to supply Ukraine with Taurus cruise missiles that could strike Russian territory and try to disrupt Moscow's supply lines to its army.

"They say this is in accordance with international law. Well, in that case, strikes on German factories where these missiles are made would also be in full compliance with international law. These morons are actively pushing us towards World War Three," Medvedev said.

Realizing that if the weapon of mass destruction he had appointed as Defence Minister was not neutralised his term in office would probably end in a mushroom cloud, Prime Minister Rishi Sunak visiting visit Burnley, Lancashire on Sunday, said he wanted to make the situation “absolutely clear,” explaining that Shapps said British soldiers could be deployed in Unkraine he did not mean British soldiers

Government To cash In Emissions Credits To Keep Net Zero On Track While Relaxing Targets.

While many people welcomed the relaxations to Government 'Net Zero' policy announced by Prime Minister Rishi Sunak last week, others were quick to point out that it would be illegal to abandon commitments to reducing carbon emissions as they are enshrined in laws passed by the previous administrations of Gordon Bown (Labour) and Teresa May (Conserevative.) The Green Blob gleefully seized on this and attempted to undermine Sunak's small step towards common sense by claiming his initiative was doomed. Others said it was merely a political ploy aimed at halting the Conservatives decline ahead of some significant by - elections. But while Rishi Sunak has no been particularly effective as Prime Minister, having inherited a mess the even Disraeli, Lloyd George and Churchill rolled into one could not have handled, but he did not get to be a billionaire without knowing how to pull a stroke or two. It now emerges the government is planning to stay on the right side of strict carbon emission laws by cashing in on Britain’s projected “over performance” over the next decade.

The Prime Minister and Claire Coutinho, the Net Zero Secretary, are believed to have concluded that the Government will be able to capitalise on an expected surplus in emissions in order to push back deadlines such as the 2030 ban on selling petrol cars and the mandatory replacement of gas boilers with ineffective heat pumps, without breaching strict carbon budgets.

It is rumoured that the government's internal estimates show the proposed changes, including pushing back the 2030 ban on ICE cars by five years and weakening the phase-out of gas boilers, were projected to increase emissions by only five per cent.

However, the Government is likely to come under fire from environmental groups and the Climate Change Committee (CCC), the statutory watchdog set up to ensure the nation achieves the unachievable targets set by previous governments.

 Everything about Sunak’s supposed relaxation of Net Zero targets may seem like a typical cynical political ploy and for this reason mainstream media commentators are dismissing it as another Conservative bait and switch intended to voters into thinking the Conservatives are not as extreme or authoritarian as Labour before going ahead and doing the exact same thing as their opposition would because both parties are controlled by the dark forces of globalism. Another idea put forward is that Sunak wants to maintain the illusion that Team A and Team B are not exactly the same thing and that voters have a “choice”.

That great American George Carlin often spoke about ‘The illusion of choice’ more than 30 years ago. Governments are trapped between the supra-national globalists, and the woke blob of the civil service, academics and 'The Science.'. 

As globalist policies formulated by unelected bureaucrats in unrepresentative global agencies legislate for more health tyranny, more climate change authoritarianism and more surveillance and control of our daily lives, along with many alt_news creators, fear there is no non-violent way out of this situation and with the G20 group of leading economic powers recently agreeing to implement Digital ID’s and Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs) one has the feeling that the net is closing on our freedoms. The hoax pandemic showed how our physical sovereignty, right to free speech and freedom of the road can be withdrawn. Control our money and it’s game over. We will all be slaves to a global, technocratic government.

Many would argue both those things are already here and what is coming down the road is their expansion and refinement, but I don't believe we have yet gone too far to turn things around.

We already have biometric passports in a country like the UK which prides itself on its social liberalism, and in which almost everyone travels abroad.  The US long had an entry permission system (ESTA) as has Australia. The EU is implementing a similar digital border and permission system next year and the UK is in the process of developing a similar policy. In time every 'free' country will follow suit. So we are already nicely put in holding pens where we can roam freely, for now.

As for control of the way money flows, most transactions are  by card or bank transfer. And those transactions are already recorded on databases and carefully monitored. Try doing anything substantial out of the ordinary and you can be sure one of the banks invond demand information on what it is for.

There are some slightly more optimistic notes in this weeks news however.This, from the United States, is the one that gives me most cause for hope.

Perhaps in the US, banks ask less questions, or if they do ask questions more closely related to criminal activity or to the prevention of money laundering, and perhaps, based on what I know of their constitution, US banks have a legal duty and right to refuse to disclose information to the state. It is highly unlikely that We The People will ever really know what went on the the cabinet room at No. 10 Downing Street in the run up to the nation being put in lockdown as pandemic panic gripped the nation in the spring of 2020.  One of the problems with our system of government, "the cabinet system" is that members of the Cabinet, the Prime Minister's inner circle of senior ministers are, as a condition of holding heir position, required to support decisions made 'in cabinet' by that inner circle regardless of their personal feelings on the issue.  And it seems most people in Boris Johnson's cabinet during the run up to the disastrous and entirely ineffective lockdowns were kept in the dark about many things, including the fact that 'The Science' on which lockdown policy was based was not science at all, there was absolutely no empirical evidence that lockdowns, mask mandates or social distancing laws wouls do anything to slow or halt the spread of the SARS-COV2 virus. Government was effectively reduced to a “quad” of ministers and their dodgy 'scientific advisers' deciding on Britain’s future. Rishi Sunak, an unfancied contender in the current race to succeed the discredited Johnson and at that time Chancellor of the Exchequer was one of them. There were rumours at the time that Sunak was horrified at much of what was going on, and repeatedly warned that lockdowns would inflict economic damage that was likely to endure for decades. Unfortunately due to the principle of collective cabinet responsibility, resign and speak out or stay in post and fight the pseudoscientific insanity from a position of power.

His speaking out now  he is no longer chancellor and his bid to replace Boris Johnson as Conservative Party leader and Prime Minister of the nation has fallen victim to a backlash from the party rank and file because he is perceived as the man who stappped Boris in the back, confirms much of what many have suspected. The culture of fear created by pandemic scaremongering, and the Orwellian macinations of Boris and his unelected globalist cronies in collusion with mainstream media, that was usded so effectively to terrify the nation, was not 'led by science' as the official narrative claimed, but instead was pat of a hiddden agenda. 

Questioning lockdown, even behind locked doors in cabinat meetings, was seen as an attack on the Prime Minister’s authority. To ask even basic questions – about how many extra cancer deaths there might be, for example – was to risk being portrayed as one the crackpots, the “Cov-idiots”, people who wanted to “let the virus rip”. Fascism had taken hold in the heart of Whitehall.

To maintain the illusion that our individual freedoms and civil rights were being stolen from us in order that we could be protected from a 'deadly' disease that did not kills many people meant elevating the corrupt SAGE (Scientific Advisory Group for Emergencies,) committee to the status of a mini-government: don’t blame us, ministers wanted to say, we’re just following the best scientific advice. For that reason, there never was an economic or a social analysis of the damage the government's pandemic policies were doing to economically and to communities, a see-no-evil policy applied. Which worked, until the aftershock of lockdown began – with the evil there for all to see.

Lockdown, Sunak says, was always a political decision but No 10 wanted to dress it up as “following the science”. There may be some truth in this but also there is a lot of evidence that the decision was made not by politicians but by outside influences such as the WEF, the World Health Organisation (WHO), billionaire psychopath Bill Gates who funded the mathematical modelling project that predicted 500,000 excess deaths in UK during the first wave of COVID and the pharmaceutical corporations that own so many scientists and universities, vast swathes of the media and that manufactured the vaccines that were so bad the manufacturers warned they would not make people immune to the disease. This was a conspiracy at the highest level. And remember this nightmare was being enacted not just  in the U.K. it’s tentacles reached into just about every Western government from Canada to NZ the US to France, Italy, Germany, Australia etc.. All these leaders reciting the same mantras over and over. Remember Build, Back, Better?

Funny how all these governments are now desperately rushing through their own versions of censorship bills to prevent free and open discussion of the COVID scandals. They claim they want to fight mis and disinformation. No they want to save their own arses, the status quo and do everything in their power to stop the truth from getting out.

This matters because it’s not about the Tory leadership. Sunak now stands almost no chance: the race is nearly over with most votes cast. Polls show Liz Truss ahead on a two-to-one ratio. Nor is it about score-settling: Sunak spoke to the media on the understanding that he was not naming “the guilty men”. He wanted speak on record about the process (or lack thereof) because he thinks that candour will help correct mistakes for next time. People who think a General Election in which the Conservatives would almost certainly be defeated is going to solve anything need to remind themselves that throughout the pandemic crisis The Labour Party only offered by way of opposition to the government's fascistic measures only demands for more oppressive measures, stricter policing of COVID restrictions and stiffer punishments for those who did not obey.

It is to be hoped Sunak will be the first of many to speak out, because, whether you share his political affiliation or not, he has revealed that our system of government is Not Fit For Purpose. As one Cabinet minister commented on the atmosphere in government yesterday: “It wasn’t just Rishi. I needed my own network of spies to find out what was happening in lockdown, because we were never told.” 

If this is what was going on, if there was no proper Cabinet scrutiny, if it’s true that no overall cost-benefit analysis of lockdown was ever seriously attempted, it points to a collapse in basic standards of government. At a time when high standards and rigorous analysis was most needed.

As least now there can be denying that having voted ourselves out of the authoritarian bureaucratic dictatorship of the EU, we have been delivered by Boris Johnson and a bunch of unelected bureaucrats into the hands of an even worse tyranny, the wannabe world government of the United Nations and its agencies.

 

 

The epitaph of The Johnson regime can therefore be found towards the end of G K Chesterton's poem The Secret People:

"They have given us into the hand of new unhappy lords,
Lords without anger or honour, who dare not carry their swords.
They fight by shuffling papers; they have bright dead alien eyes;
They look at our labour and laughter as a tired man looks at flies.
And the load of their loveless pity is worse than the ancient wrongs,
Their doors are shut in the evening; and they know no songs."

But we ordinary punters can take heart from the poem's opening lines:
"Smile at us, pay us, pass us; but do not quite forget;
For we are the people of England, that never have spoken yet."

All we have to do is sack the establishment parties Labour, Conservative and Lib Dem, they've all sold us out at some point,  whenever you have the chance vote for anybody but their representatives, and destroy the elected dictatorship.
