England’s Chief Medical Officer Chris Whitty admits government overstated danger of Covid

England’s Chief Medical Officer testified before the official civer up exercise known as the  Covid Inquiry today, claiming he feared the government “overdid it” when talking up the dangers of Covid during the 'project fear' stage of the scamdemic.

The Telegraph reports:

The Government potentially overstated the danger of Covid to the public at the start of the pandemic, Prof Sir Chris Whitty has admitted.

The Chief Medical Officer told the Covid Inquiry he still worries about whether the Government got “the level of concern” right as it introduced lockdowns and shielding measures.

Sir Chris said it was a difficult balance and if anything it was possible that authorities “overdid it” when communicating how dangerous the virus was at the beginning of the pandemic.

This is typical British understatement beloved of government officials, which when combined with “official inquiry dilution”, automatically transforms  "We knowingly and deliberately did X” into “I fear we may have done X by accident“.

Whitty doesn’t “think they potentially overstated the danger”, he knows they definitely did just as the rest of us do. It’s been pretty much proven.

The Covid 19 pandemic was a web of lies and statistical misrepresenation created specifically to enable a gross and collective abuse of power by governments around the world.

That’s all old news.

Yet Chris Whitty himself is a good example of a potentially interesting phenomenon.

From the beginning of the “pandemic” he seemed strangely  keen to distance himself from the very panic he was helping to create, and to, in pure Doublethink, underline the complete lack of danger from the much hyped “deadly new disease”. See this video, taken from a “Covid Briefing” on May 11th 2020:

We should not assume from that he was some kind of hero standing on principle – he wasn’t, the toed the line to serve his own interests and advance his career. He was a lying little shit who stuck to the narrative and lied about the threat and vaccines as much as anyone – but he seems to have been in some ways uncomfortable with the enormity of the deceit.

I guess you could say this serves as a reminder that – however monolithic the establishment may seem – it is still made up of human beings who will not always 100% agree about everything.

Yes, the “covid” scam had the backing of almost every establishment institution on the face of the planet, but those institutions are made up of individuals. And at least some of those individuals must have had doubts because Whitty is not the only one now driven by guilt to admit he was part of a crime against humanity.

One des not climb the heights in intelligence or politics without being some type of psychopath so we can take it that Whitty does not feel morally compromised, but maybe doesn’t want to be seen as the kind of person who tells lies, or one narcissistic eye on how they might be remembered by posterity.

I can’t remember the source, but last month I read a comment by some Establishment public health official or epidemiologist declaring that COVID had transitioned from “pandemic” to “endemic”. A few dats ago I received a message from my health practice inviying me for my Autumn booster.

I phoned the practice manager and asked how many shots this would be now.

"This will be your eighth two vaccines and 6 boosters," he said.

Then I told him that as I have not had my first shot yet, and neither have I had Covid wheras everybody I know who is vaccinated had had it, and most several times, I would continute to trust natural immunity.

What is happening here is normalisation of the disease and the twice yearly vaccinations (which in itself proves the vaccines don't work,) and seems to be a matter of authorities sheepishly or contritely admitting in hindsight that “mistakes were made”– and, while slightly backing off the Big Lie that “COVID” was a deadly plague, reinforces the Little Big Lies underpinning the scamdemic/vax narrative.

Among other deceits, apologizing for “overstating” the risks implies that there was a genuine microscopic pathogen that caused significant and widespread health risks, but it was simply assessed clumsily and inaccurately. Thus, both the assessment and the draconian official protocols may have been unduly harsh but it is implied the problem was real – presumably the confusion over the “level of concern” was/is more a matter of degree than kind.

The USA is seeing this kind of COVID normalization too. In recent weeks a new Pfizer ad campaign touting New! Improved! COVID jabs, and parallel ads for Paxlovid have been airing on TV. Just do a search for “Paxlovid”, and you will discover endless links discussing the Big Pharma nostrum with endless variations, e.g. “Is COVID gone after taking Paxlovid?” Or “How do I ‘manage’ Paxlovid use along with other ‘COVID’ medications?”

This all serves to “confess” that the authorities originally “may have overstated” the risks of “COVID”, but also facilitates the Big Medicine/Big Pharma fraud that implies that although “COVID” has been tamed, as it were, it remains a serious illness that  still requires Big Pharma remedies rather that an out and out fraud, a minor infection that posed a serious risk only to those already at death's door for one reason or another. Can you say “Phantom Menace”?

Could a US Dock Strike Put Trump Back In The White House?

Though rumours have been circulating in the shipping industry for weeks, this story of a possible game changing event has so far been ignored by of major US news organisations. Ryan Peterson of port operator Flexport blew the whistle last week on a looming industrial dispute that could bring trade at most major American seaports to a standstill.

Peterson tweeted (or Xd or whatever,) :

"The biggest wildcard in the presedential election that nobody's talking about? The looming port strike that could shut down all east coast and Gulf ports just 36 days before the election."

He then followed through with:
If the International Longshoremans' Association (ILA) goes on strike tens of thousands of businesses could miss the key Black Friday / Cyber Monday peak sales period.

 The economic impact of such a strike would be catastrophic for the US economy.
In 2023, U.S. seaport trade totaled $2.12 trillion. If the ILA strikes, U.S. East and Gulf Coast ports—which handle 72% of that trade—would grind to a halt. The ILA union has voted to prepare for a strike beginning October first, and the industry watchers do not believe this is an idle threat.

If the strike goes ahead it could be a major issue for Democrats: economic problems tend to hurt the incumbent party.

It would also put pressure on the Biden administration to halt the strike by invoking the Taft-Hartley Act, which could start a fight with organized labor. The surprise decision by the Teamsters, Democratic party stalwarts for generations, to not the candidacy of Kamala Harris shows that there are already cracks in the Democrats alliance with organized labor. 

“The economic impact is a tsunami when we potentially have half of the country’s ports closing down,” Margaret Kidd, associate professor of supply chain and logistics at the University of Houston, told MarketWatch.

The dispute has arisen because The International Longshoremen’s Union is demanding significantly higher wages and a total ban on the automation of cranes, gates and container handling logistiics equipment used in the loading or loading of freight at the 36 affected U.S. ports. Whenever and however the dispute is resolved, it’s likely to affect how freight moves in and out of the United States for years to come.

If a strike were resolved within a few days,  experts say, consumers probably wouldn’t notice any major shortages of retail goods. But a strike that persists for more two weeks it would likely cause a shortage of some consumer products, although most holiday retail goods have already arrived from overseas.

A prolonged strike would almost certainly hurt the U.S. economy. Even a brief strike would cause disruptions. Heavier vehicular traffic would be likely at key points around the country as cargo was diverted to West Coast ports, where workers belong to a different union not involved in the strike. And once the longshoremen’s union eventually returned to work, a ship backlog would likely result. For every day of a port strike, experts say it takes four to six days to clear it up. 

This means if the strike goes ahead by Nov 5th it will be affecting millions of American voters. And the Trump campaign will not even need to point the finger of blame at the Biden / Harris administration's loonytoons economic policies, everybody will know what has caused the strike.

Left Of Labour - The Real Threat To SStarmer's Government

 

Former Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn joined four other independents elected in July forming a new parliamentary bloc, The Independent Alliance, which is the fifth biggest block in parliament

Corbyn, who  lost the party whip remained a party member after allegations that he had failed to control anti semitism in the party in 2020 continued to sit inthe House of Commons but when.it was clear he would never be permitted to stand as a Labour candidate again, sure of a devoted following among the Trotskyite faction of the party he decided to oppose the globalist, technocratic leadership of Sir Keir Starmer, and as Sunak stood in a rain lashed Downing Street and announced that he had asked King Charles to dissolve parliament, Corbyn made his move. A dew days later the populare MP for Islington announced he would run in his constituency as an independent. He aimed to embarrass the party he had been loyal to since first joining in 1965.

Mainsteam media had tried to spin the move to oust Corbyn after the 2019 election defeat as being driven by the desire to break with his socialist politics. Indeed, it was the first in a series of moves that the leadership undertook to neuter the party’s Left which dominated among constituency activists. 

Later came a batch of deselections of MPs who opposed SStarmer's authoritarian style of leadership. Faiza Shaheen, Lloyd Russell-Moyle and Sam Tarry lost consituency votes with the controversial “Anonyvoter” system being deployed, which led to allegations of voting 'irregularities; to replaced as candidates by SStarmer loyalists who had little personal connection with the seats they would represent.  And yet, in the election itself, confounding precedent, Corbyn and several others were elected  as independents, defeating the party they had previously represented. The battle for Labour, and the future of the British Left, had begun.

Now fully expelled for standing against their candidadte, Corbyn looks as if he will be more dangerous for Starmer that if he had been allowed to run as a Labour candidate and decome a disruptive influence inside it. He now sits under his own flag, alongside four more outsiders who refused to toe the party line, all of them returned to Parliament by their opposition to austerity and opposition to Israel’s war in Gaza. And while their election campaigns weren’t coordinated, these five independents are now getting organised, announcing a formal Independent Alliance earlier this month. Alongside the four Green members it is is the largest gathering of “Left of Labour” MPs in history. What was initially an inchoate rejection of Starmer across a few seats of seats is becoming a national movement.

Worse still for Labour, this all began during what was supposed to be the pinnacle of Starmer’s appeal. Yet within three months of forming a government, one recent poll has Labour as low as 29%. Six-in-ten voters now say the Prime Minister can’t be trusted. most remarkably of all, Starmer is less popular than Rishi Sunak.

Not that the Conservatives will benefit from Labour’s deepening woes. Despite his penchant for freebie designer glasses, the public still views Starmer more favourably than leader wannabes Kemi Badenoch, Robert Jenrick and James Cleverly. More broadly, the electorate remains more critical of the Tories than Labour. All those years of ineptitude haven’t been forgotten overnight.

In a two-party system,  with its dysfunctional First-Past_The-Post electoral system all that matters is being slightly less despised than the other guys. But Britain is no longer a two-party system, something Labour ignores at its peril. With the Lib Dems, the country now has its largest third party for a century — business has even started paying attention to them — and the SNP are looking to hit back under stable leadership. Elsewhere, the Greens and Reform are now truly national players. It wasn’t just Carla Denyer saying Labour should scrap the two-child benefit cap, but Nigel Farage too. Despite having more than 400 seats, the optics are that Labour is not only at odds with the country, but that electoral alternatives are increasingly conspicuous.

Yet the biggest problem for Starmer arguably remains his former comrade in Islington North, with Corbyn and his fellow independents a lightning rod for what was the Labour Left. The potential repercussions of The Prime Ministers' zero-tolerance approach on dissent can already be seen. Last month, Labour suspended seven MPs after they voted in favour of an SNP amendment to scrap the two-child benefit cap. A day later, Corbyn and his band of merry men signed a joint letter in support of those rebels, saying they looked forward to working together — and that they represented an alternative to the two establishment parties. The subtext was obvious: leave Labour and sit with us.

But as Starmer’s difficult inheritance becomes clearer, there will be increasing dissent within the party as to how he approaches various challenges. Those who disagree with the party line are already considering other options — including the Independent Alliance. In August, Labour announced its membership had fallen below 400,000 for the first time in a decade. For the party’s Right — anti-democratic fixers by disposition — that is considered a good thing.

A wider recognition of Starmer’s authoritarian style among Labour MPs will test his disciplinary approach.

Duffield, hardly on the party’s Left, has already said she owes more to her constituents than the PM. This is dangerous ground for Starmer, who needs his big majority if he wants to address difficult challenges like the housing crisis. Some will stand up to Starmer — playing a game of political chicken in the knowledge there is an alternative with Corbyn. Meanwhile other, less courageous MPs, will pretend that abstention is somehow an act of defiance (more than 50 Labour MPs abstained on the Winter Fuel Allowance Bill). But that will prove bad politics — with a poor voting record manna for independent challengers at the next general election. Had Jess Philips not defied the party whip on calling for a ceasefire, for instance, she would most probably have lost her seat.

My bet is that a new party won’t happen, even with Corbyn open to the possibility. The strength of the five independents is that they are masters of what they don’t say: their platform of opposition to war, support for public services and criticism of Israel is overwhelmingly popular with the median Labour voter. Having a more detailed programme, where they’re liable to disagree among themselves over things such as LTNs or biodiversity, comes with too many downsides.

You only have to look at what happened to Rosie Duffield, one of Labour’s own, to see how cruel the party can be to dissenters. It has been heartening to see her standing her ground and with the support of her constituency party and the citizens of Canterbury, making bully buy SStarmer and his sidekicks look foolish. One of the interesting things to note is that the majority left appear to be like sheep desperate not to stand out from the flock and won’t speak up against the technocratic bullies or far left fanatics in their ranks. It’s pathetic.

The asprct of leftist thinking I have always found ditateful is the way policy makers do not even try to hide  resentment of what they lack and spite towards those who have it. Marx, Lenin, Trotsky, Hitler, Mussolini, Castro, Pol Pot, Mao, Khomeini , Sayyid Qutb and Abul Mawdudi were all lower middle class people with above average intelligence and education but felt they were entitled to more than they had. They all despised the genuine hard working and skilled working class, considered manual labour beneath them. These pseudo intellectuals hated the honest artisans and labourers Marx smeared with the appleation 'The Proleteriat,' an ineducable, unthinking mass of identical beings with low intelligence and low aspirations.

The expansion of commerce and industry since the Industrial Revolution has created a large group of lower middle class clerks/ journalists of above average intelligence and education but below average physical robustness and resilience because they do not undertake hard manual labour and physical sports. This group provides most of the revolutionaries from the French Revolution onwards
They were able to convince criminals from the proletariat, especially slum proletariat that they could indulge in their liking of killing, torturing and raping to serve a higher moral purpose. Erdogan Says Israel Is Dragging Whole Region Into All-Out War

 As news comes in of Islamic militia Hezbollah launching its retribution for Israel's sneaky sabotage of pagrs and raio's used in Lebanon, Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has accused Israel of dragging the whole Middle East into a full scale regional war. The Turkish president has previously laid sole blame on Israel for everything that's happened since October 7 last year.

Meanwhile The United Nations is warning of 'catastrophe' in Lebanon while  special coordinator for Lebanon, Jeanine Hennis-Plasschaert, said on X, "With the region on the brink of an imminent catastrophe, it cannot be overstated enough: there is NO military solution that will make either side safer."

"I have been saying all along that Israel targets not only the Gaza Strip, the recent attacks on Lebanon have confirmed our suspicion that the Israeli leadership's plan is to spread the war to the entire region," Erdogan said. It certainly seems so as the pager attack rndomly struck inside Lebanon and though Israel claims it targeted only Hezbollah fighters, civilians were also struck by the sabotaged devices which were on open sale throughout Lebanon.

Following the exploding pagers stunt we can expect that any Mossad and Military Intelligence (Aman) headquarters/offices in israel, and even beyond, will now be prime targets by Hezbollah and other Resistance members. It's also likely that the CIA and MI6 knew very well what was going on and kept close tabs on it etc etc

If the pager sabotage was an effort to target Hezbollah members, the ideal system would have included tracking of the pagers, including such basics as whether or not they were even turned on and so forth. However pagers are relatively unsophisticated gadgets and its unlikely the firmwar needed for such a task would have been incorporated into the latest models.

If Hezbollah at some point began dismantling pagers to check or doing diagnostics on the software (both relatively time consuming and small scale, being limited by the number of experts trusted to be able to do this) the Zionists could have deduced Hezbollah was catching on. 

The intrinsic difficulty of deciding whether it was a handful of pagers intercepted pager by pager somewhere before being bought by the members, or all of a particular brand, or merely all of a particular shipment, would have delayed the time. Even worse, dissemination of the discovery would have been slowed by the need to investigate whether any internal turncoats or Lebanese opponents of Hizbullah were players in the affair. And deciding what to do about it depended on being relatively sure precisely what the problem was. These seem to me to be reasonable questions that destroy the credibility of Isrsel's claims..

On the other hand, the Zionists may have just found out Hizbullah was switching to pagers (deducing it partly from the drop in cell phone sigint?) They seeded some rigged pagers with no such tracing and merely hope a random one time signal might take out enough Hizbullah to profit them. It's not like civilian collateral damage is a high cost for them, they wouldn't see much or any outrage over more or less random terrorism.

Western leaders Still Want To Let Ukraine Join NATO Though Even They Must Know It Would Start WW3

 ‘When are you going to let us use the Storm Shadow?’ a maimed Ukrainian soldier is reported to have asked Boris Johnson during the former Prime Minister's most recent visit to Ukraine. The young man was referring to the Storm Shadow missiles donated to the Ukie was effort by the UK. His comment was prompted by the mass murderer Zelensky's latest idiotic whine about the US /UK / NATO refusal to sanction the use of such missiles to strike targets deep within Russian territory. The crazy Ukies were still pushing the narrative that if only the west would stump up all the weapons the neo - Nazi regime in Kiev asked for, and fast track Ukie membership of NATO Russia could still be defeated.

According to mainstream media the impasse was about to be broken as that very day a UK delegation led by aother warmonger, Suckeir SStarmer had arrived in Washington. If briefings to the media were accurate, this was to be the moment Americans and the British  governments would announce that the poor little Ukrainians would be able to defend themselves properly against Putin’s glide bombs, hypersonic aircraft and really serious weapons. Why else SStarmer go to the White House, togged up in his Waheed Alli-funded suit and specs? 

Fortunately the US-UK talks ended in failure. The problem with letting trigger - happy Ukie nutters fire long range missiles into Russia is that these missiles, in spite of the fact that they are thirty year old technology, are highly sophisticated bits of kit and would have to be programmed and launched by US, UK or NATO troops. And that would in effect be a declaration of war on Russia by NATO. Fortunately Vladimir Putin was as well aware of this as we unbiased commentators in alt_media.

The hold-up in allowing use of US/UK programmed Storm Shadows to attack targets in Russia is presumably due to Putin stating that would be equivalent to a declaration of war on Russia by those two countries, and Russia would react with the complete destruction of Kiev followed by immediate missile attacks on UK, Belgium, Germany and USA. Note that none of these countries has an air defence system effective against hypersonic missiles.

To put things in perspective we need people to understand how western voters have been gaslit over this war, from the day in April 2022 when on a previous visit to Kiev, the aforementioned Boris devivered the message from NATO and the Biden administration that on no account must Ukraine negotiate with Russia to end the war. Ukraine is not winning, but being destroyed. In August the Ukrainian military invaded Russia's Kursk oblast – mainly forests and small villages – and that force, comprised on the best fighting units Ukraine had left, is now slowly being massacred by the Russian forces. Meanwhile the Ukies weakened front line in the Donbas theatre is being overrun by Russian regiments.

Ukraine did manage to hit Russia’s 107th arsenal located at Toropets, west of Moscow, with a long range drone strike.

In 2018 and onward, it began to get a modern addition under the direction of Deputy Defense Minister Dmitry Bulgakov. Adding a major new section with modern concrete bunkers, he made high-flung claims that it was the safest in the world, could withstand nuclear strikes, and the standard tale. Unfortunately Bulgakov was one of the many corrupt parquet generals recently arrested for embezzling money, specifically by providing low-grade materials—in his case rations for the army—while pocketing the left-overs. And we should not believe the 'Big Bully Russia terrorising little Ukraine' narrative either. The following report is from https://www.cato.org/ on how Ukraine has been receiving double-digit millions of dollars from US since the trun of the century in spite of the Kiev regime waging a genocidal campaign against ethnic Russians living inside Ukraine's borders since 2014:

Since 2000, the US has provided double-digit millions of dollars in weapons and weapons training to Ukraine. According to data collected by the Security Assistance Monitor, prior to the Russian invasion of Crimea in 2014, the two largest increases in this aid occurred in 2002 (where the total value was over $67 million) and 2008 (where the total value was over $80 million). For the former, this was Ukraine’s fifth year collaborating with NATO and the development of the NATO–Ukraine Action Plan, which called for greater security cooperation. In 2008, security assistance increased after the Russian war with Georgia. Finally, following Russia’s invasion of Crimea, security assistance from the US to Ukraine increased to over $90 million in 2014, over $182 million in 2015, and then has remained above $200 million every year since. Yet, many of these weapons have seemingly disappeared into an abyss.

According to the 2021 Global Organized Crime Index, Ukraine has one of the largest illegally trafficked arms markets in Europe, especially when it comes to small arms and ammunition. About 300,000 small arms and light weapons were reported lost or stolen between 2013 and 2015. Of these, only slightly more than 13% are recovered, while the vast amount remains in circulation in the black market. This says nothing of major weapons, such as radar systems and Javelin missiles also sent to the country.

The repeated accusation that Russia “will not honour any deal” actually also applies to the West, as recently documented, for example, by the Minsk peace agreements. But western leaders have on multiple occasions reneged on their verbal and documented agreements that NATO would expand “not one inch eastward” upon German unification. And there is no indication whatsoever that Russia is out to dominate the world as some leaders of  some NATO members, fans of World War Three naratives like to claim. It is hardly relevant to cite a 1977 document referring to the time of the Cold War. Those days are thankfully over, or would be if western leaders would only open their eyes and ears and actually listen to what Moscow is saying.
