Has Starmer tied himself in legal knots over digital ID?

 Until the scandal over the UK government cancelling the trial of two guys accused of spying for China broke this week Keir Starmer's plan to introduce mandatory Digital ID for all UK residents as part of a more sinister agenda, looked the front runner in the race to bring down this most incompetent of governments.

Boggart Blog cannot vouch for all the assertions made in the post but the legal aspectsof it are accurate according to a lawyer of our acquaintance.

 ‘Starmer has painted himself into the ugliest of Fabian corners. He wants to mandate digital ID for every Briton. He dresses it up in two slogans: “preventing fraud” and “stopping illegal working.” Fabian Blair used the same lines in 2004 when he tried and failed to push ID cards. But here’s the trap he’s in: Britain is bound by the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR). Article 8 protects our privacy, Article 14 bans discrimination. Strasbourg has already ruled against blanket DNA and biometric databases in S & Marper v UK (2008) and against unregulated facial recognition in Bridges v South Wales Police (2020). 

 You can not strip people of their livelihoods or force them into surveillance on pain of starvation. Any mandatory digital ID tied to work or survival would fail the ECHR tests of legality, necessity and proportionality. And it gets worse for him.

 Under the UN’s Agenda 2030, SDG 16.9, states have pledged to provide “legal identity for all, including birth registration.” That language was written to protect migrants, stateless persons and refugees. 

It means digital ID can not lawfully be used to exclude foreign workers from jobs or services. It has to empower them. So if Starmer sells this scheme as a way to block “illegal working,” he’s trampling over the very human rights treaties he boasts of upholding. So, what are his choices? 

 He could leave the ECHR. But that unlocks the opposite of his Fabian wet dream. Outside the Convention, Britain could indeed deport en masse, shut borders, and sweep away the legal brakes on state power. (Labour will never do that because the Fabian project depends on international treaties and courts to entrench their system above democratic challenge.) Or he could stay in the ECHR. But then his hands are tied. 

The judges in Strasbourg have already said you can’t keep every citizen’s DNA, can’t roll out facial recognition without safeguards, can’t discriminate against migrants. By that precedent, he can not compel digital ID without being dragged through the courts. 

And then there’s Agenda 2030 itself. 

It locks in digital ID as a protection for migrants, not a punishment. So he can’t use it against them either. So, Starmer’s “digital ID” agenda is a Fabian mess. It can’t lawfully be forced on migrants. It can’t lawfully be forced on citizens without leaving the ECHR. And leaving the ECHR would destroy his arguments against deportations. 

He is boxed in. The only way he can get his way is if we let him bluff us into believing this is inevitable. It isn’t. He’s trapped.’ Just Say NO folks. Also read an article that MP's and their immediate families do not have to comply.

US Diplomat Ridicules Labour Party Minister Phillipson For Claiming Starmer and UK Played Significant Role In Gaza Peace Deal.

 

 

As the world celebrated (somewhat prematurely in my opinion,) the peace deal between Israel and Hamas brokered by President Trump UK Prime Minister Kweir Smarmer, eager as ever to make himself look important claimed the UK had played a significant role in arranging the deal. According to Starmer, his government's decision to recognise Palestine helped pave the way for the peace deal eventually secured bythe US President. 

Speaking after his return from the peace summit in Egypt, Starmer told MPs he was “proud” of the government’s contributions, adding, “We’ve worked behind the scenes for months with the US, Arab, and European nations to help deliver a ceasefire, get the hostages out, allow aid in, and secure a better future for Israel, Gaza, and the West Bank. “I’m proud of our contribution," he said smugly.

Not everyone was as impressed with Starmer as he was with himself (nothing new there.)

Italian PM Giorgia Meloni BLASTED the Prime Minister saying he played no part in Gaza peace deal and branding him an international embarrassment. Giorgia said: ‘If anything he harmed peace negotiations, trying to impose his master Tony Blair on Palestinians. Now he wants to get a photo op and claim he helped. Cringe’ she lamented, adding: ‘He should stop wasting his time meddling in international affairs and sort out his own country, the people are fed up.

According to The Jewish Chronicle, US Ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee was also unimpressed with our leader.

The Chronicle's Lorin Bell - Cross reported: 

The US ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee has mocked the suggestion that the UK played a significant role in securing a ceasefire in Gaza and the release of hostages.

Speaking to Trevor Phillips on Sky News yesterday, Education Secretary and Labour Party deputy leadership candidate Bridget Phillipson said that the UK had “played a key role behind the scenes” in ensuring that a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas could be reached.

Pressed for specific details, she said the government was involved in “complex matters of diplomacy” but praised the “critical role the American government played in getting us to this point.

Pressed on the government’s decision to recognise Palestinian as a state and support a two state solution Phillipson said recognition was “the right thing to do” given the scale of the conflict in Gaza and to protect the viability of the two-state solution.

Unfortunately the Labour government's Education Minister only showed again that members of this government are as far out of touch with worldwide political situations as they are with the concerns of British voters. In August this year US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that the decision made by France and other European countries to unilaterally recognise a Palestinian state had hindered negotiations to achieve a ceasefire and secure the release of hostages held in Gaza. 

However, after her remarks came to Huckabee’s attention, the former Arkansas governor ridiculed Phillipson, calling her comments “delusional” in a post on social media.

“She can thank Donald Trump anytime just to set the record straight”, he said on X.

Israel’s foreign minister Gideon Saar also publicly criticised the suggestion that Britain played any role in bringing about an end of the conflict in Gaza.

As well as re-posting Ambassador Huckabee’s attack on Phillipson, Sa’ar also shared a critical post by a former British army colonel.

“The British government played no role in the ceasefire agreement, except a negative one by encouraging Hamas to resist through recognition of a non-existent ‘Palestinian state’. This agreement was reached only because of Trump, Netanyahu and the IDF”, Colonel Richard Kemp, a former commander of British forces in Afghanistan said on X.

Starmer again demonstrated how mindnumbingly stupid he is by trying to present himself as a major world leader who played a signifucant role in securing this deal when all the evidence, including the Labour government's blatant anti semitism, points to the opposite conclusion. He has embarrassed us beyond repair this and not his first major foreign policy disaster or betrayal of British interests. Chagos is a win for the Chinese. The EU reset is a win for the EU. The India deal is a giveaway that Sunak wouldn’t accept because of number of Indian workers coming this way. Paying France to shaft us in the Channel. Weak and an idiotic international joke.

Artificial Intelligence: An Existential Threat - But To Humanity Or Savings And Investments

 

Stock market analysts and investment bankers have been saying for a few months the the AI bubble rapid  i.e.the surge in the value of these companies based on stock market trading in their shares, about to burst? Big tech’s gargantuan capital outlays – surging tenfold in the three years since ChatGPT was publicly launched – look increasingly unsustainable. 

By some measures, artificial intelligence (AI) now sucks up more than half of America’s combined investment pool. Yet the promised uplift to business productivity hasn’t materialized. 

According to techopedia.com, investment in artificial intelligence has sailed past levels last seen during the peak of the dotcom bubble. Jens Nordvig, founder and CEO of macroeconomic consultancy Exante, says AI-related capital expenditures now represent about 2% of America’s GDP. But scepticism is in short supple with people like Larry Fink, CEO of Blackrock, the world's biggest asset management firm fully on board with the hype.

Big tech AI data center spending has risen 10x in the last three years alone. The arrival of ChatGPT in 2022 has led to an AI bubble so big it’s consuming more than half of America’s cumulative investment pool. 

So unquenchable is the industry’s thirst for cash that the world’s biggest economy may not have enough to slake it. OpenAI chief Sam Altman has already been fundraising beyond America’s shores, hoping to raise some $7 trillion from sovereign wealth funds and other sources in the UAE and elsewhere. AI has been said to pose an existential threat, not to humanity itself but to our savings, pensions and investments.

The AI euphoria driving this is partly due to global debt having ballooned from $64 trillion in 2000 to $338 trillion today. Every major asset — stocks, bonds, property — has been inflated by decades of easy money. What looks like prosperity is really devaluation in disguise.
 
Meanwhile, most investors no longer pick stocks; algorithms do. Trillions flow automatically into ETFs that chase price momentum, not profit. When liquidity dries up, everything will fall together.

Even the gains AI firms are making come at a cost elsewhere. As the industry sucks up all the available capital, it’s also consuming massive amounts of electricity. Hyperscale data centers use roughly 4.5% of America’s electricity, a figure that could triple in the next two years. That’s raising electricity prices – up about 13% on average between October 2022 and June 2025.  

AI centers require significant power to operate and a lot of water to keep them cool, straining local grids and raising utility water prices in areas where these data centers are concentrated. That puts upward pressure on inflation, making both households and businesses more costly to run.

And the supposed AI “revolution that is going to kick off the fourth industrial revolution and even pose an existential threat to humanity? A July MIT study found 95% of AI projects deliver zero profit. Yet trillions in capital keep flooding in. Data-center investment alone could exceed $5 trillion by 2030 — which would require AI services to generate revenues equal to 10% of total U.S. GDP just to break even. Pure fantasy economics and yet the oligarchic insanity over an AI takeover of everything goes on unabated. 

On top of all that it emerged last week that AI large language models can quite easily be 'poisoned' and caused to spew out gibberish by hackers. 

AI is a massive mis-allocation of capital running in trillions of dollars. Now the data-center theme seems to be going out, people rejecting data centers across the west, due to their energy issues, and effect on fresh water sources.

So many sub-sectors of  stock markets have already been falling 6 months or more (transportation, chemicals, materials etc.) but this has largely been concealed because a few big tech corporations heavily invested in AI have propped up the indexes so the headline figures have looked good.

As Wall Street, Lndon and other stock exchanges brace themselves for tech carnage, analysts are starting to wonder if a bigger financial collapse than the dot-com collapse is just around the corner.  

AI may be approaching its moment of truth. A technology built to unleash the economy is starting to weigh it down.

 The investment flows that have and are still inflating the AI bubble are dependent on monetary flows, and right now we seem to be seeing another liquidity crunch, which will take down everything.  The key issue is who is going to save the banks that are too big to fail this time.

Starmers Latest Betrayal Of Britain - And Thoughts On Other Recent Traitors

 

 

On Tuesday Prime Minister Starmer, in a bid to justify another betrayal of Britain, i.e.  his intervention in, and abortion of the trial of two men suspected of spying for China, said the Government could not state that China had been a national security threat when Chris Cash and Christopher Berry were arrested in 2023, on allegations they had gathered intelligence for China while researching in Parliament going back to 2021.

The Prime Minster told reporters: ‘Now that’s not a political to and fro, that’s a matter of law. You have to prosecute people on the basis of the circumstances at the time of the alleged offence . . . So all the focus needs to be on the policy of the Tory government in place then.’

Starmer said the Government could draw on only the previous government’s assessment, which dubbed China an ‘epoch-defining challenge’.

This is a blatant lie.

In fact the previous administration did describe China as a ‘threat’ and so did Starmer’s administration.

In 2022, Liz Truss declared China a ‘threat‘. Rishi Sunak repeated the coding in 2023.

In June this year, the then Foreign Secretary David Lammy told the Commons that following an audit soon after election in July 2024, China is a ‘sophisticated and persistent threat’ given its ‘espionage, interference in our democracy, and the undermining of our economic security’.

Subsequently, towards the end of August, the Starmer administration’s review of national security concluded with a downgrade of China from ‘threat’ to ‘geostrategic challenge’.

This   is merely the latest case of the Starmer administration trading British security for Chinese favours, while denying the influence of China or the threat from China.

Within months of being elected the Labour clownshow tried to convince the public that Britain had an obligation under international law' to give Mauritius sovereignty over the Chagos Islands, and to lease the British military base on the island of Diego Garcia for 99 years at a cost of almost £35billion. This cost was admitted in August, after a Freedom of Information request, though in May Starmer had told Parliament that the deal would cost £3.4billion over 99 years. 

A Prime Minister does not have the power to make such a decision without it being put to Parliament, and it is debatable whether even parliament could have made such a decision without going through a long and complex legal process, therefore it is likely treason has been committed. 

On a par with the Chagos betrayal is Starmer's supine agreement to China's request for expited planning permission to build a 'super -embassy' in a strategically sensitive area of London despite expert opinion that the projects would create a security risk. 

Of course Starmer, an active member of the globalist trilateral commission, is a traitor and should go as was Sunak, Johnson, May , Cameron, Brown and of course Tony Blair. Each one of these corrupt globalist puppets was put in position to destroy a little more of our national of culture, and to strip away more our freedoms in order to herald in the one world government .

These corrupt , incompetent poltroons have committed diverse acts such as off shoreing our industries, politiscising the civil service /justice, swamping the country with un needed immigrants, selling off property or gold reserves to foreign investors cheaply, clamping down on freedoms and speech, unwanted wars, saddling industries with needless regulations, and introducig digital ID - a first step towards soial credit scores  but always the result has been to break off a piece of what once made Great Britain - Great and made us a country people were proud to be associated with and live in.

The changes needed to turn Europe into one federal  nation are so radical they will destroy natios permanently. ChatGPT and other AI models can be ‘poisoned’ to spew gibberish, researchers warn

AI models like Google’s Gemini  and OpenAI’s ChatGPT can be “poisoned” by inserting a relatively small sample of corrupted documents into their training data -the data scraped (i.e. stonen) from all over the world wide web, a study carried out by researchers at Cornell University has warned.

The  joint project which involved researchers from Cornell, the UK AI Security Institute, the Alan Turing Institute and AI firm Anthropic found that as few as 250 documents can produce a “backdoor” vulnerability that causes AI data centres (thousands of networked computers comprising hundreds of thousands of GPUs (Graphuc Processing Units) which parse large language models (LLMs) to spew out gibberish text.

The flaw is particularly concerning because most popular LLMs are pretrained on public text across the internet, including personal websites and blog posts. This makes it possible for anyone to create content that could be caught up in the AI model’s training data. In a way this is good news for free speech campaigners sceptics (those of us who have been around computers long enough to know that what they do is nothing like human intelligence.) Furthermore AI is being hailed byauthoritarian politicians and billionaire pshycopaths as the technology that will enable global technocratic dictatorship.

“Malicious actors can inject specific text into these posts to make a model learn undesirable or dangerous behaviors, in a process known as poisoning,” Anthropic noted in a blog post discussing the issue.

“One example of such an attack is introducing backdoors. Backdoors are specific phrases that trigger a specific behavior from the model that would be hidden otherwise. For example, LLMs can be poisoned to exfiltrate sensitive data when an attacker includes an arbitrary trigger phrase like in the prompt.”

These findings have raised concerns about artificial intelligence security, with the researchers saying it limits the technology’s potential to be used in sensitive applications i.e. just about all applicaions except gaming and pornography.

“Our results were surprising and concerning: the number of malicious documents required to poison an LLM was near-constant – around 250 – regardless of the size of the model or training data,” wrote Dr Vasilios Mavroudis and Dr Chris Hicks from the Alan Turing Institute.

“In other words, data poisoning cyberattacks could be simpler than previously believed. It would be relatively easy for an attacker to create, say, 250 poisoned Wikipedia articles.”

The risks were detailed in a pre-print paper titled ‘Poisoning attacks on LLMs require a near-constant number of poison samples’.

Liberal Canada's Rulers In Rush To Copy Chinese Communist Party's Authoritarian System

 

 

Canada has a reputation for being one of the most enlightened and tolerant nations in the international community, with an exemplary record on human rights. These things are qualities its leaders like to boast about when they are not busy trampling over the civil rights and legitimate freedoms of of Canadian citizens. The reasn we mention this is the government in Ottowa have again been busy devising new ways to increase the authority of the state and weaken any resistance to the state.  

For all that Prime Minister Carney and his predecessor Trudeau love to parade their liberal credentials, we must remember this is the country that ruled that Jordan Peterson’s refusal to use the ‘non-binary’ gender pronouns zee, hir and per constituted discrimination and was punishable by law. 

Then there was the persecution of Christians including Pastor Pawlowski and the awful treatment of truckers trying to exercise their democratic right to protest against vaccine mandates, which included freezing their assets so they could not access bank accounts and withdrsaw money for living costs. During the COVID lockdowns era Canada was one of the leaders in mandating the vaccines and unpersoning anybody who voice concerns about the safety and effectiveness of the clotshot or the human rights violations of the governments pandemic response

Now Canada-based LifeSite News is reporting that a bill going through the legislative process, backed by Prime Minister Carney, would establish powers to cut off access to the internet of anyone the security serviices deem a dissident.

‘Bill C-8, which is now in its second reading in the Canadian House of Commons, was introduced in June by Minister of Public Safety Gary Anandasangaree and has a provision in which the federal government could stop “any specified person” from accessing the internet,’ the report says. ‘All that would be needed is the OK from Minister of Industry for an individual to be denied internet service.

Given that Canada has been one of the front runners in the push by governments to force its citizens to put all their financial and personal business online, to introduce a cashless society and to expand surveillance via digital technology, the sinister nature of this Bill, titled An Act respecting cyber security, amending the Telecommunications Act and making consequential amendments to other Acts, becomes clear, especially as  it contains a clause that mandates all internet providers to pull internet services from anyone whom the government fingers as being 'off - message.'. 

Fortunately many are speaking out against this latest attack on free speech, privacy and personal liberty, including People’s Party of Canada leader Maxime Bernier, the Canadian Civil Liberties Association and Canada’s intelligence commissioner.

Trying to get the genii of the free to use internet, back in the bottle is probably impossible at this stage,  but many tyrannical governments, like that of the UK's uniparty, have seen the problem andrather than trying to supress it's use but made it use ubiquitous thus enabling state security agencies to exert full control and monitoring. They'll keep pushing digital ID and a cashless infrastructure. which would have been introduced years ago  were it not judged to have been against the culture of Irish travellers and people of Canada's First Nations, which would have been discrimination.  (Also how would the great and the good pay for their rent boys, escorts and Columbian marching powder witghout outing themselves?)

War In Ukraine Set To Drag On - Ukies Do Not Want Peace

Ukraine's President Zelensky has this week renewed his calls for donations of Tomahawks from European NATO members.

Having first requested the advanced, long range missiles while meeting US President Trump on the fringes of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, a detail of their private discussion first reported by The Telegraph, Zelensky is regularly repeating the question. Unlike previous attempts by Mr Zelensky to secure Tomahawks for his armed forces, which were rebuffed by Joe Biden’s administration, under Trump the American position has changed but Ukraine is asking for unconditional supply of the weapons, which would certainly move the war to a different level .

Shortly after The Telegraph broke the news of Zelensky's latest bid to drag NATO into direct conflict on the ground and in the air with Russian forces, Trump appeared to wash his hands of the crazy Ukies, saying Kiev can have the missiles if Europe pays fro them. JD Vance, the vice-president, went on the record to discuss shipments of Tomahawks.

“We’re certainly looking at a number of requests from the Europeans,” he told Fox News, when asked about the topic.

Kiev's corrupt gangster regime apparently has no interest in a peaceful resolution of the conflict with Russia, believing it can still reverse the situation on the battlefield, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has said. Russian forces have consistently pushed back Ukrainian troops and steadily gained ground over the past several months and a report leaked in September shows catastrophic Ukraine casualty figures. 

Speaking to journalists in Dushanbe, Tajikistan on Thursday, Peskov said Ukraine’s decision-making process is dictated by the false hope that “something will change on the front lines and shift to a positive dynamic.”

Boggart Blog has previously reported that our surces say Ukraine's decision making process is dictated by a desire among oligarchs to continue skimming off donated cash into their own pokets and selling donated weapons on the intenational black market. 

“The Kiev regime, clearly inspired by the Europeans, is currently not at all inclined toward any kind of peace process,” Peskov said.

Moscow has accused the Ukrainian government of stalling peace talks and showing no genuine interest in ending the conflict. Last month, Peskov said that despite the sides agreeing in Istanbul to establish working groups to explore a potential peace deal, the Ukrainian side has unilaterally suspended all dialogue. 

He added that Kiev’s public communication strategy is apparently focused on producing ever-shifting proposals while disregarding Russia’s practical suggestions for negotiations.

Ukrainian officials continued to say they intend to regain all of the country’s former territories. Numerous military experts, however, have said these ambitions are unrealistic without the direct involvement of NATO.

Peace In Gaza Unlikely In Spite Of Trump - Netanyahu Peace Plan

Last Monday, US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced their latest peace plan for Gaza. The plan’s title could well have been Gaza: Today, Tomorrow and the Day After.

Trump’s yearning for the Nobel Peace Prize is no secret. If the bold 20-point Gaza plan succeeds, he will deserve the award. But a plan which requires the end of Hamas as a governing force in Gaza and a security threat to Israel, gives Arabs the stability they seek in the region, promises a terror-free future for Israel and keeps alive the dream of a Palestinian state. It's a lot to hope for, prticularly with two sides known for intransigence.

Any viable peace plan must deliver an immediate and lasting ceasefire that brings an end to the killings and a release of all Israeli hostages still in captivity, dead or alive (today); the removal of Hamas as a military, political and institutional force from Gaza and its replacement with a credible governance structure to oversee reconstruction  of settlements in the strip (the agenda for tomorrow); and appropriate provisions, backed by credible guarantees, to prevent the return of terror to Israel (the promise of the day after).

Unfortunately peace still looks to be an illusion, a phantasm. The best we can hope for is a temporary ceasfire but even that is unlikely when we understand the roots of this conflict. 

 In the words of Mahmoud Al-Zahar, a co founder of Hamas and one of its senior officers: “The entire planet will be under our law, there will be no more Jews or Christian traitors.” 

The war in Gaza isn’t about land, it never was. This is a centuries old Jihad that extends beyond the Crusades and Israel is merely a speed bump along the way.  Western leaders and the media have conveniently forgotten the Armenian genocide and the Syrian death marches during WW-I as well as Black September which signaled the start of Jordan’s civil war where their own Palestinians, led by terrorist Yasser Arafat, attempted to eradicate the Jordanian monarchy in 1970. And the state of Israel was itself born out of terror as Zionist groups waged a campaign aganst British and French peacekeepers in the years after World War 2

On the second anniversary of the October 7 attacks, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer called for the release of the hostages, more aid for Gaza, and progress toward a lasting peace. “Time does not diminish the evil we saw that day,” Starmer said of the October 7 massacre. “The brutal, cold-blooded torture and murder of Jews in their own homes. And the taking of hostages, including British citizens, some of whom remain in Gaza today.”

In a statement released Tuesday 7 October, Starmer also highlighted the rise of antisemitism in the United Kingdom and said his government will support the Jewish community following last week's terrorist attack on a synagogue in Manchester.

He went on to say that the UK's priority in the Middle East remains the same: "Free the hostages. Send aid to Gaza. And a ceasefire that can lead to a lasting and just peace as a step towards a two-state solution."

This comes after the Starmer government formally recognized a Palestinian state in September, in a coordinated move with Canada and Australia aimed at increasing pressure on Israel.
"We welcome the US initiative towards peace in the Middle East, and this government will do everything in its power to achieve the day when every child in Israel can live in peace, alongside their Palestinian neighbors, in safety and security," Starmer, a lifelong atheist, added. ---------------------"LET US PRAY FOR PEACE." 

Peace in the Levant is impossible. Pretending this isn't so will only lead to further decades of festering resentment, violence and war. One side needs to comprehensively defeat and evict the other, after which secure borders are the only way to ensure peace.

After decades of mass migration by illiterate, unskilled fanatical Muslims from the poorest parts of Pakistan, Bangladesh and India Britain will soon have its own Gaza Strips and West Banks, along with the violence and terror that goes with them. We are already seeing self - segregated communities in our towns and cities, and demands that Muslims be excluded from British law and subject only to Sharia law. And the preachers of these Muslim communities echo the words of Mahmoud al Zahar. 

7th century Islam imported from one water-well villages in Pakistan (as opposed to modern Malaysian Islam) cannot peacefully co-exist with the modern day West. It really is that simple.

 When you see children carrying rifles and automatic weapons, you need to know that the next generation is learning a survival technique handed down through generations. Before they had such weapons, they would have a stash of rocks to throw. Resentment ages old, does not 'do' peace. The 'West' may appear to want peace, but in truth they just want total power. So does Islam. Until these mindsets are changed there can be no peace.
