Litvinenko Inquiry: Russian ambassador calls findings 'gross provocation' by Britain.

Former High Court judge Sir Robert Owen today deliverd his findings on the 2006 murder of former KGB spy Alexander Litvinenko, 43, who died after ingesting radioative Polonium 210, according to final the report of an inquiry into the affair.

The Russian ambassador to the UK has called the report a whitewash which covers up the incompetence of British police and security forces in investigating the crime and and a gross provocation of Russia by the British / US alliance (he would say that, wouldn't he/)

Owen’s report, the result of a a six-month public inquiry, accused the Kremlin of ordering the assassination of Mr Litvinenko in London and using prime suspects Andrey Lugovoy and Dmitry Kovtun to carry it out.

However, the UK will not impose any economic sanctions on President Vladimir Putin’s regime, not only does to report offer no concrete evidence to back up its allegations, the Kremlin already dismissing the inquiry findings before they have been published.

Senior Foreign Office diplomats have lobbied David Cameron, the Prime Minister, not to take further action because Anglo-Russian relations are vital in the fight against Islamic State in Iraq and Levant (Isil) and the removal of Syrian president Bashar al Assad. (Russian cooperation against ISIS is a reality, that Putin's support in removing Assad might be forthcoming is just propaganda from the Obama Administration. Obama's insistence that there can be no negotiation until Assad is removed from power is the main obstacle blocking the path to peace in Syria.

So we see that the report, far from being an independent judicial review of the case, is just a manoeuvre aimed at embarrassing The Kremlin.

Sir Robert Owen reached a number of key findings in his 18-month inquiry into the death of former KGB spy Alexander Litvinenko. Here they are:

I am sure that Mr Litvinenko did not ingest the polonium 210 either by accident or to commit suicide. I am sure, rather, that he was deliberately poisoned by others.

I am sure that Mr Lugovoy and Mr Kovtun placed the polonium 210 in the teapot at the Pine Bar on 1 November 2006. I am also sure they did this with the intention of poisoning Mr Litvinenko.

I am sure that the two men had made an earlier attempt to poison Mr Litvinenko, also using polonium 210, at the Erinys meeting on 16 October 2006.

I am sure that Mr Lugovoy and Mr Kovtun knew that they were using a deadly poison (as opposed, for example, to a truth drug or a sleeping draught), and that they intended to kill Mr Litvinenko. I do not believe, however, that they knew precisely what the chemical that they were handling was, or the nature of all its properties.

I am sure that Mr Lugovoy and Mr Kovtun were acting on behalf of others when they poisoned Mr Litvinenko.

When Mr Lugovoy poisoned Mr Litvinenko, it is probable that he did so under the direction of the FSB. I would add that I regard that as a strong probability. I have found that Mr Kovtun also took part in the poisoning. I conclude therefore that he was also acting under FSB direction, possibly indirectly through Mr Lugovoy but probably to his knowledge.

Political hacks and media luvvies in the UK were quick to start screeching for action against putin but when we examine the report's findings, every statement is hedged with qualifying term, 'probably', 'possibly', 'perhaps' and 'may have' appear to be the most frequently used words in the document. In fact the report even hedges its betes on stuff that has been known for years.

Just about the only new material offered is the idea that hostility between Vladimir Putin and Litvinenko stemmed from threats litvinenko made to expose Putin's paedophile activities with young boys. This allegation seems to have been part of a personal vendetta by Litvinenk against Putin. A trawl of the 'dark web' shows the only reports of it all refer to a document published by Litvinnko. This does not prove Putin's innocence of course, nut beither does it confirm his guilt.

So what are we to make of The Owen Report's accusation that Russia eliminated a man who may have been nothing more than a seditionist with a grudge against the President?

A look back over a few decades of recent history shows our own security services are not exactly above suspicion when it comes to the mysterious but convenient deaths of people who could seriously embarrass the government. All governments do it.

And the faux - outrage over unsubstantiated allegations of paedophilia are a tad hypocritical coming from the British political and media establishment. I hear Leon Brittan and Greville Janner were spotted drinking Victory Gin in The Chestnut Tree Cafe a couple of days ago. (for those not well read, that's a reference to George Orwell's '1984', not a conspiracy theory).

The biggest mistake made by Britain and the USA in the era of Blair and Bush was to introduce a pious moralism into foreign affairs. They abandoned the principles of realpolitik on which Western diplomacy had been based since WW2. The House and Downing Street quickly got into trouble and have stayed there ever since, because diplomatic relations with foreign powers are now dominated by the desire to appease politically correct elements in domestic politics. Foreign policy should be conducted by pragmatists who are mainly concerned about protecting the interests of their nations.

Sarah Palin Is Back. Good News Or Bad News For Satirical Bloggers.

In a twist worthy of Game Of Thrones, Presidential hopeful Donald Trump yesterday married Cersei Baratheon (nee Lannister) recruited to his campaign the former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin. Some say it may boost support for Trump among likely Republican voters especially in the mid west where Protestantism is a powerful persuader, but in the long run could harm the Republicans chances of winning the presidency.

Hang on, I thought, she has only endorsed him, he hasn't named her as his running mate. Others are saying the move signals the end of the Tea Party, although that too is crazy because this Tea Party never existed.

For myself, while I acknowledge that Mrs Palin's politics are whacko as ever and she has put on quite a lot of weight thus not looking as good as she did, if the lady who can see Russia from her house takes an active role in the campaign she can only add to the fun. I did warm to Mrs Palin somewhat in 2008 after having built an absurdist blog post around her during the campaign, in which I had her taking the newly elected John McCain to Alaska for a weekend break and losing him under the ice on a fishing trip after, Mister Magoo like, he blundered into an ice hole.

For presenting the bumbling vice pres candidate as a scheming soap virago on the lines of Joan Collins in Dynasty, I was subjected to a hate attack from 'Liberals'.

"You shouldn't be presenting her as funny and interesting, you should be telling the world what an evil person she is," they screeched. Well anyone who was hated so much by such contemptible people couldn't be all bad, I thought. And then the same people tried to tell me that Michelle Obama was one of the most beautiful women in the world. Since then I have not been able to take any Obama supporter seriously.

And then the opposition was Obama, the man from nowhere who has no past. Things I discovered bout him on the dark web (I had a UNIX machine in my office - not a company asset but my own, I was always self employed - made me sure he would be an incompetent president, a neo - con puppet and a war monger) told me forget the lookalike, the real Mr Magoo would be a better president. The Liberals, contrary to the famous dream of one of their heroes, had made the mistake of judging a candidate by the colour of his skin rather than the quality of his character.

Not that Obama had much character to judge he was a vacuum and apart from rumours which would have finished a white candidate, there was nothing. One of his main backers however, a Bilderberger, neo - Nazi German billionaire who specialisis in building tax evasion vehicles for corporate clients, should have worried everybody.

So as a UK blogger who has no vote in the US election, Sarah Palin became my favorite (although when some controversy about a pipeline became an issue I did have fun speculating that if Obama / Biden won it would be build from a bourbon distillery direct to the Vice President's Office.

So this blog says GO Sarah, we need a few laughs from the campaign.

Mass Shooting at University in Pakistan Kills More Than Thirty

According to the news wires this morning, a team of "Taliban" gunmen stormed a college campus at at Bacha Khan University in the town of Charsada in northwest Pakistan, at around 9.30am local time and began firing randomly at students and teachers in a terror attack that is wholly out of character with how The Taliban operate.

UK newspaper The Guardian reported that the terrorists, four young men from the Pakistani militant group Tehreek-e-Taliban (TTP) entered the campus at about 9.30am local time (4.30am GMT), apparently using the cover of thick morning fog, and opened fire on students and teachers in classrooms and accommodation blocks. A gun battle between the attackers and Pakistan security forces ensued.

Eye witness reports said there four gunmen wearing suicide bomb vests and weilding AK47 automatic rifles invaded the campus. The attack was claimed by Tehreek-e-Taliban, a Pakistani militant group.

"They came from behind and there was a big commotion," an unnamed male student told a local news channel from a hospital bed in Charsadda’s District Hospital. "We were told by teachers to leave immediately. Some people hid in bathrooms."

Television images showed military vehicles taking armed soldiers into the campus as helicopters hovered overhead and ambulances lined up outside the main gate.

Shabir Khan, a lecturer in English said he was about to leave his university housing for the department when firing began. "Most of the students and staff were in classes when the firing began,” Khan said. “I have no idea about what’s going on but I heard one security official talking on the phone to someone and said many people had been killed and injured."

About three hours after the attack began, the Pakistani army said the attackers were contained in two university blocks and that four of them had been killed. Witnesses report a much higher death toll than that given officially. A 23-year-old student said he counted 56 bodies and saw gunmen shooting male and female students "without discrimination". Students at the university are overwhelmingly Muslim and it is bizarre to think Islamic extremists would attack followers of Islam in this way.

About three hours after the attack started, the army said the campus was quiet as soldiers conducted a block-by-block search. Four attackers were killed, including two who were shot dead by snipers, it said.

Although a similar narrative was presented by US news network CNN, their report stated a TTP spokesman later denied responsibility for the attack:

"The TTP “strongly condemn the attack on Bacha Khan University in Charsadda and disown the attack, saying this is not according to Shariah," according to a statement emailed by TTP Central Spokesman, Mohammad Khurrassani.

CNN then reported a senior Taliban commander, Umar Mansoor, earlier claimed responsibility for today’s attack on the university.

NOTE: This apparent switch looks very similar to the Cointel Pro method of grey propaganda designed to reinforce to the public that the TTP carried out this attack – a major application of grey propaganda is making enemies believe falsehoods using straw arguments: As phase one, to make someone believe “A”, one releases as grey propaganda “B”, the opposite of “A”. Facebook begins Europe-wide censorship campaign against free speech.

Facebook Inc (FB.O) has commenced the Europe-wide censoring of posts and comments the ruling elite do not like, thus making good the promise given to Hausfrau - Volksfuhrer Merkel by the social media and data theft site's founder Mark Zuckerberg. The campaign began on Monday 18 January to prevent 'extremist' posts on social media, after German extremist anti - European politicians raised concerns about a rise in public opposition to a policy of uncontrolled mass imigration their critics claim is aimed at destroying German ethnicity and culture and turning Germany into an Islamic theocracy.

The left wing coalition politicians have also suffered a public backlash over their efforts to conceal the truth about the increased level of rape and sex crimes committed by Muslim immigrants against European women and directly linked to the influx of refugees from uncivilised parts of the middle east and Africa where women are still though of as chattels.

Facebook launched its pretentiously and dishonestly named “Initiative for Civil Courage Online” in Berlin, pledging over 1 million euros (1 million pounds) to support non-governmental organisations in their efforts to promote pro - Islamic, anti - European propaganda and any posts defending free speech opposing the politically correct cowardice of the ruling elite and corporate fascists like Zuckerberg and his Thought Police organisation.

Facebook Chief Operating Officer Sheryl Sandberg said hate speech “has no place in our society”, including in the Internet. In Facebook's wrapped world view something like "I think there should be some limit on the number of migrants we let in," or "It is known there are many jihadists trying to enter western nations to do harm, so making sure new arrivals have proper travel documents and entry visas". Far from being hate speeech, such comments are aimed at preventing those who carry hate in their sould from harming innocent people in civilised society.

Facebook’s ground rules forbid bullying harassment and threatening language, except by Zuckerberg and his fascist staff, but critics say it does not enforce them properly. The critics are wrong here. The nerd Zuckerberg is so completely out of touch with reality he believes computer intelligence is equal to human intelligence, so any subtly worded post that avoids the 'racist' or 'xenophobic' words defined by Facebook's sad little script kiddies is going to get past the software apps they employ as censors.

In November, prosecutors in Hamburg launched an investigation into Facebook on suspicion of not doing enough to prevent the dissemination of hate speech. German politicians and celebrities opposed to democracy and free speech have expressed concern about the rise of 'anti-foreigner' comments on Facebook (like, "a bunch of foreign guys shouting Allahu Akbar raped and sexually assaulted women on News Years Night in Cologne, which Hausfrau - Volksfuhrer Merkel thinks people should not be allowed to write even though it is true. Merkel's neo Nazi government are also going after other social media sites where they fear Germans may learn the truth about what is going on in their country in order to cover up the government's failure to cope with a tide of new migrants that amounted to 1.1 million last year alone.

Chancellor Angela Merkel has urged social networks and Internet service providers to do more to identify criminal posts (i.e. those which question or criticize government policy, more quickly and taking them down.


Here's an example of the kind of criminal posts Merkel, Obama and Zuckerberg would criminalise. You will see it is not racist, xenophibic or offensive in any way other than in the way it exposes a lie told by Barack Obama.

The rejoinder in question appeared on my own Facebook page in a thread about my recent Pando article. That piece looked at President Obama’s blatant lie about his power to reschedule marijuana under federal law. I was responding to an Obama apologist who mindlessly repeated the lie, and insisted that “you know damned well the Republicans would accuse him of being an Imperial President” if he does anything on any issue.

This agitprop is standard -- and infuriatingly mindless -- apologism from die-hard Democratic Party loyalists. To them, every instance of overt hypocrisy or dishonesty from their preferred politician is justified because the GOP inevitably will criticize him. Of course, the GOP will criticize Obama no matter what he does, which means that this tautology is designed not to make a factual point, but instead to rationalize anything and everything the White House does regardless of the facts.

It means, in other words, that yes, those who use this self-serving crap to deliberately distract from inconvenient truths are being willfully stupid and are, hence, willful ignoramuses.


So there you have it, under The New World Order we are no longer allowed to question our leaders or their governments. And that suppression of free speech is one of the basic tools of fascist regimes from Ancient Rome to modern Germany and Obama's USA.

'We Got Duped': Ukraine Billionaire Slams EU Free Trade 'Fraud'

Washington sees the European Union (EU) as vital to its global hegemony ambition, as we have demonstrated in many posts. Therefore it was inevitable that the puppet government of Ukraine, installed after the CIA / US State Department engineered coup deposed the democratically elected (if criminally corrupt) government and replaced it with the current government headed by Willy Wonka oligarch Petro Poroshenko.

That of course led to the annexation of Crimea, a region with an ethnic Russian majority, by Vladimir Putin's government in Russia and the outbreak of civil war in east Ukraine as pro Russia separatists set up a breakaway state in the Donbass region.

After falling for EU leaders promises that full membership of the wannabe federal European Superstate (Great Germany?) would be fast tracked if Ukraine rejected Russia as a partner for a free trade treaty, the country's businessment are learning that in the bureaucratic jargon of Brussels 'free' does not mean without tarriff. Ukraine's top chicken farmer and former Poroshenko aide found that new EU trade quotas imposed on Ukraine prevent the expansion of Ukraine's economy.

The European Union's free trade agreement with Ukraine turned out to be a "defrauding of Ukraine," according to Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko's associate agriculture tycoon Yuriy Kosyuk.

In an interview with US government foreign language broadcaster Voice of America's Ukrainian service, Kosyuk said the new free trade agreement will not help his company, as the import limit set by Brussels for chickens is a fraction of his company's production alone. The EU deal also restricts Ukraine's ability to export to non - EU countries.

Nicknamed Ukraine's "chicken oligarch," Kosyuk controls nearly two thirds of Ukraine's chicken production. Until December 2014, he was the deputy head of Poroshenko's administration.

"Europe talks of the Free Trade Area with Ukraine, and at the same time a load of exceptions and limitations are put on the export of Ukrainian goods. Because of this, the free trade area is only one-way, into Ukraine," Kosyuk told Voice of America.

Which, if the truth was ever told, is the situation many British businesses have encountered in trying to export to Europe, and what many British people (myself included) have for many years come up against when seeking responsible, well paid positions in Europe. In my case the bureaucratic obstructionism prevented me from taking a role as an external consultant. Had I ben contracted by a British consultancy to work in The Netherlands there would have been no problem, but because a Dutch company were trying to employ me direct, all sorts of bureaucratic obstacles stood in their way.

Police Crackdown on North African Gangs Sees Arrest of 40 Migrants in Dusseldorf

A huge raid by German federal Police on an area in Düsseldorf known to be a centre of North African criminal gang activity has resulted in the arrest of 40 immigrants, believed to be mostly Muslim, for crimes such as pickpocketing, robbery and drug dealing.

Three-hundred armed state police officers, backed by federal security forces conducted the operation on Saturday evening in the state capital of the North Rhine Westphalia federal state. Their specific target was North African gangs based in a neighnourhood known as ‘Maghreb’ close to the city’s main railway station, which has large North African population among whom Moroccan culture is dominant and Sharia law is regarded as the only law.

A report from the German police criminal intelligence department suggested up to 2,500 Moroccan, Tunisian and Algerian immigrants residing in Düsseldorf have been involved in criminal activities ranging from organised shoplifting and handling stolen property to controlling prostitutes, drug dealing and extortion Holger Münch, the ,Chief of the Federal Criminal Office, told German newspaper Bild am Sonntag:

“Migrants from the Balkans or from North Africa, especially from Morocco, Tunisia and Algeria, draw attention because of their criminal activities. This is much lower in the case of migrants from Syria and Iraq.”

Details of the raids, part of an operation codenamed ‘Casablanca’, were released by North Rhine - Westphalia state authorities yesterday, reports Deutsche Welle. In total 18 cafes, casinos and Shisha bars were raided resulting in the interrogation of 294 suspects.

Out of the 40 arrests, 38 men turned out to be illegal immigrants, one of whom faced extradition to answer criminal charges in his home nation. Charges against the suspects included handling stolen goods — many stolen mobile telephones were found in the raids — as well as controlling prostitutes, pickpocketing and drug dealing.

This is not the first time the ‘Maghreb’ district of Dusseldorf has been raided by the authorities. The same neighbourhood was hit last year, resulting in several arrests.

Police press officers stressed the fact that the raids were planned last year, and were not connected with the migrant sex assaults that took place in Cologne and other cities on New Year’s Eve.

Former Bavarian President: Close the Border to All Migrants

Unconnected with the raid in Dusseldorf but indicative of the feeling in German communities that Hausfrau - Vokfuhrer Merkel and her elitist government appear to think they can ignore,Edmund Stoiber a former President of Bavaria has said Germany should completely close its borders to refugees in order to solve to migrant crisis.

Despite being formally in electoral alliance with Mrs. Mrekel, Stoiber, the elder statesmen of the Bravarian Christian Social Union Party (CSU) and the Chancellor’s traditional coalition partner in government, said Germany had to change direction and gave the Chancellor just two months to solve the problem. Stoiber is well-known for his outspoken conservatism as was regarded as a thorn in Angela Merkel’s side throughout the time he served as Bavarian President.

“Angela Merkel must now change her position, otherwise there will be disastrous consequences for Germany and Europe,” Mr Stoiber said in an interview with Süddeutsche Zeitung.

In what sounded very much like an ultimatum, Stobier said that if Mrs Merkel does change her policy, there will be a confrontation after local elections in March. As we have reported, there is already widespread civil unrest in areas where the German Federal Government has dumped large numbers of recently arrived, undocumented 'refugees and asylum seekers' who speak hardly any German and have no understanding of German culture and customs, though the local authorities lack the infrastructure to deal with the inevitable problems this causes. These problems are replicated in other nations in Europe that have opened their doors to immigrants withouit carrying out background checks. Norway, Sweden and The Netherlands have been similarly affected.

The CSU must make Mrs Merkel’s own CDU party agree with their more hard line policy on border security, Mr Stoiber added, "If necessary, against the opinion of Mrs Merkel." The only solution that will likely make a difference, Mr Stoiber added, was for Germany to completely close its border to refugees for an unspecified period in order both to reduce numbers.

If it does not take radical action, the rest of Europe will see the migrant crisis as a specifically German problem and will never reach an agreement to tackle it.

Mr Stoiber is well-known for his outspoken conservatism as was regarded as a thorn in Angela Merkel’s side while he served as Bavarian President, despite being formally in electoral alliance with her. In 2002, he outmanoeuvred her to become the main centre-right candidate for Chancellor, but narrowly lost the subsequent election.

The FBI Has No Choice But To Indict Hillary Clinton

Former Superior Court Judge Andrew Napolitano has published an article (linked below) which explains the FBI’s investigation of Hillary Clinton and concluded that the FBI has no alternative option than to indict Presidential hopeful Mrs. Clinton for failing to protect National Security during her spell as Secretary Of State. There are two aspects of the investigation. The original source of the investigation is the charge that she failed to safeguard national security secrets.

As the Judge explains, this crime does not require intent and can result from negligence or simply from an incompetent's lack of regard for protocols when dealing with classified material, as in the case that Judge Napolitano provides of the US Navy sailor who was prosecuted for espionage because a “selfie” he sent to his girlfriend revealed a sonar screen in the background. An even more egregious case is that of the US Marine who was prosecuted for using email to alert superiors to the presence of an Al-Quada operative inside a US military compound. The email is considered unsecure and thus the Marine was prosecuted for revealing a secret known only to himself.

In view of these unjustified prosecutions of US military personnel under the law as it still stands, the FBI has no alternative to recommending that Hillary be indicted. The charges may seem trumped up but the concern Ugly Face Hilly's slap dash approach to process and procedure raises concerns about how she would perform as President when people as sharp as vladimir Putin, Xi Jinping, Bashar al Assad, Recep Erdogan and Irans Ayatollahs are waiting to take advantage of every screw up.

Whether Hillary will be indicted depends on the Justice Department and the White House. Obama may feel he has done enough to derail Hillary's campaign and with only the buffoon Donald Trump and the communist Bernie Sanders as contenders could justify seeking emergency legislation that would permit him a third term Additionally, it is unlikely that either Wall Street or the military/security complex wants Hillary indicted as both have invested too much money in her presidential campaign, and both interest groups are more powerful than the Justice (sic) Department and the White House. Corporate America would fear a Sanders presidency more than Trump, but he is a loose cannon and so four more years of Obama would probably be preferable to both.

However, Even more people are concerned by Mrs. Clinton's complete lack of suitable experience to fit her for the job of running the country and given the ineptitude displayed during her tenure as Secretary of State they are riht to worry.

Poland: Are New York 'Wall Street Whores’ Working With Eurofascists Against Democracy

Ratings Agency Standard & Poors (S&P), one of the credit rating agencies that influences Wall Street and the New York Stock Exchange, on Friday 15 January downgraded Poland's sovereign credit rating from A- to BBB+. This is the first change for Poland since 2007 and first downgrade since the country broke free from communist rule. The new rating puts Polish treasury bonds only one grade grade above junk bond status which, if it is imposed would make Polish debt un-investable for a large portion of the global finance community.

To naturally cynical observers the move was not driven by economics but political agendas and stinks of of a politicised corporate collaborating with a corporate political entity, the European Union, which has set out, with the help of Washington and the global financial community to depose the democratically elected government of Poland for having the audacity to assert its sovereignty. The Eurofascists of Brussels desire to punish Poland for rejecting the subservience of the previous, scandal plagued government to the bureaucratic dictatorship that aims to merge all the EU's 28 member states into a single European superstate.

S&P suggests there is a strong probability of a further downgrade if a the reversal of certain policies on such issues as immigration, law and order and domestic civil liberties that do not affect Poland's economic prospects but are out of line with the politically correct consensus of globalists is not expedited.

It is impossible that this move was based of economic analysis because Poland's economic position has not changed since the same rating agency gave the economy a glowing thumbs up in the run up to the election as recently as October 2015. In that election every left wing, pro European integration member was thrown out of the national assembly. Since then the European Union has been working to destroy Poland as they destroyed democracy in Greece when the democratically elected government opposed austerity measures imposed by Brussels that harmed Greek citizens but protected the banks and institutions that held Greek debt.

Austria Suspends Schengen, Imposes Border Control Amid Refugee Crisis

The Austrian government has temporarily suspended the Schengen border-free travel agreement, imposing full border control measures on everyone entering the country, Austrian Chancellor Werner Faymann told the newspaper Oesterreich in an interview.

"Everyone who is coming to us would be carefully checked at the border," Fayman told national newspaper Oesterreich.

Chancellor Faymann said that from now on, Austria would have to impose strict border controls, and follow neighbour and traditional allyGermany" in implementing measures to deport people who have arrived in the country without proper travel documents or refugee identification.

"At border control points everyone has to show a valid ID to Austrian authorities," Faymann said, adding that if the EU cannot impose proper border controls to secure its external borders, member countries should assert their sovereign right and start controlling their own national borders, Osterreich reported.

Austria plans to use military personnel to prevent illegal immigrants from entering the country as a result of several recent incidents in which the immigrants became violent when civilian border control officers asked for identification. Most of the illegals who enter Europe are hoping to reach Germany or Sweden to apply for asylum in what are reputed to be 'soft touch' counties for illegal immigrants. To get to Germany, having come via Turkey and The Balkans, the immigrants have to to hike across Austria. The violence does not stop once they migrants are in Europe of course, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland are all experiencing huge increases in rape and sex crimes since the illegal immigrants started arriving.

This move, following the closure of borders and restoration of border controls by Germany, Norway, Sweden and Denmark, essentially means that the Schengen agreement has been thrown out the window, Hungary and several other member states having closed their borders in 2015. The Schengen zone currently has 26 member nations, including most EU countries and four non-EU states. The UK is not a member.

The idea behind the agreement is that the citizens of Schengen countries can access any country without the need to go through border controls and visitors can travel throughout the Schengen zone with one common visa that applies to each country in the Schengen zone. It was never meant to allow illegal immigrants, fugitives from justice and terrorists to enter Europe without having to provide identification or proof of nationality, this is a recent and completely illegal interpretation introduced by socialist leaders of France, Germany and other nations.

The Demise Of Dollar Hegemony: Russia Breaks Wall Streets's Oil-Price Monopoly

Significant moves in the geopolitical chess game have just rendered the huffing and puffing of warmonger Obama meaningless and will break the hold Wall Street exercises in controlling oil prices, at least in markets that supply a huge part of the world demand for oil. The move is part of Vladimir Putin's long-term strategy of decoupling Russia’s economy and especially its very significant export of oil, from the US dollar, in effect responding to Obama's attempts to provoke Russia into starting a shooting war by attacking American interests in the Caucasus and middle east by waging a currency war designed to depose the US dollar as the global reserve currency.

Late in November 2015 the Russian Energy Ministry announced that it will begin test-trading of a new Russian oil benchmark. So what you might well say. Well this move has huge significance in terms of global economics. If successful, and there is no reason why it won’t be, the Russian crude oil benchmark futures contract traded on Russian exchanges, will price oil in rubles and no longer in US dollars (the petrodollar). It is part of a de-dollarization move that Russia, China, Iran, India and a growing number of other countries have quietly begun (extensively reported below).

This of course makes nonsense of Barack Obama's claim that the US economy is sound and the most powerful in the world. That Russia and China can so audaciously challenge US economic dominance shows their has been an enormous shift in the balance of global power.

Setting an oil benchmark price is the basis of the Wall Street bank's method of controlling world oil prices. The

London financial community uses similar techniques to control currency trading. Oil is the world’s most traded commodity. In dollar terms it props up the US economy and gives US companies an immense advantage over non - American competitors.

At present the price of Russian crude oil is tied to the Brent price. The problem is that the Brent field, along with the UK's other major North Sea oil fields is in major decline while the US West Texas benchmark is based on fields enjoying a temporary resurgence due to the fracking of shale deposits. Thus Wall Street can use a vanishing benchmark to leverage control over vastly larger oil volumes. A quick look at historic price trends will show that Brent Crude is always a higher price than West Texas Intermediate (WTI). This is not solely because Brent tends to be better quality.

The sale of oil denominated in dollars is essential for the support of the US dollar (sic). In turn, maintaining demand for dollars by world central banks for their currency reserves to back the foreign trade of countries like China, Japan or Germany, is essential if the United States dollar is to remain the leading world reserve currency. That status as world’s leading reserve currency is one of two pillars of American hegemony since the end of World War II.

Because all nations have to buy dollars to pay for imports of oil and other commodities, countries such as Russia or China find the USA can influence the health of their economies by manipulating the price of dollar in currency markets. 

That reserve role of the US dollar, since August 1971 when the USA abandoned the gold standard, has essentially allowed the US Government to run seemingly endless budget deficits without having to worry about interest rates, like having a permanent, unlimited overdraft at your bank. Nations need dollars to pay for their imports, he USA simply forces the dollar exchange rate higher.

That has allowed Washington to run up an $18.6 trillion federal debt without major concern. Today the ratio of US government debt to GDP is 111%. In 2001 when George W. Bush took office and before trillions were spent on the Afghan and Iraq “War on Terror,” US debt to GDP was just half, or 55%. The glib expression in Washington is that “debt doesn’t matter,” assumes that the world, Russia, China, Japan, India, Germany–will always buy US debt with their trade surplus dollars. The ability of Washington to hold the lead reserve currency role, a strategic priority for Washington and Wall Street, is vitally tied to how world oil prices are determined.

In the period up until the end of the 1980’s world oil prices were determined largely by real daily supply and demand. It was the province of oil buyers and oil sellers. Then Goldman Sachs decided to buy the small Wall Street commodity brokerage, J. Aron in the 1980’s. They had their eye set on transforming how oil is traded in world markets. Russia has just changed it for them.

It was the creation of “paper oil”, "paper gold", "paper metals" and so on, commodities traded in futures, contracts independent of the production and supply of physical goods, that really sowed the seeds of the economic chaos we find ourselves in. This 'derivatives' market, which has extended to include almost everything from electricity to bundles of collateralised debt obligations' (mortgages), have made it much  easier for the investment banks to manipulate markets based on rumors and derivative market jiggery - pokery.  Oil is of course the biggest by volume and most valuable commodity traded on markets.

A handful of Wall Street banks have dominated oil futures trades for years and were able to do so because their analysts knew just who held what positions, a convenient insider role that is rarely mentioned in polite company. Moving the market from physical oil to paper oil had the effect of transforming oil trading into a  Las Vegas style casino where the odds were stacked in favour of the banks such as Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, JP MorganChase which own the casinos and run the run the tables.

Until the Russians made their move, Wall Street was the oil market just as London was the currency market. Oil trades in the spot markets of London, Paris, Singapore, and the financial centres of Frankfurt, Lagos, Hong Kong etc. were peripharal, made by traders acting as agents of the New York banks.  Now it will be possible to buy and sell both paper and physical oil in Moscow. And while that may or may not be good news for the rest of the world, it could turn out to be catastrophic for the USA.
