Zelensky Backtracks After Urging NATO Action For Polish Border Blast

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is doing some belated backtracking after his prior false and highly dangerous claims that Russia launched a missile attack against NATO member Poland, killing two Polish citizens Tuesday. 

As of Thursday Zelensky says he's not sure about what happened. "I don’t know 100 percent — I think the world also doesn’t 100 percent know what happened," he said. "We can’t say specifically that this was the air defense of Ukraine."

This after everyone from NATO Secretary Jens Stoltenberg to Poland's president to US President Joe Biden assessed it was most likely a Ukrainian anti-air missile that errantly struck the Polish border town of Przewodow. A flurry of accusations from Western officials and media ensued, with fears dominating Tuesday into Wednesday of the potential to spark WWIII.

"Zelensky previously insisted that the rocket was not Ukrainian and wanted evidence if Ukraine’s air defense was responsible," The Hill writes. "But he softened his position at Bloomberg’s New Economy Forum in Singapore on Thursday, saying that Ukrainian military leaders told him that the crater from the blast site suggested that a Ukrainian anti-air rocket could not be solely responsible."

According to more via The Hill: 

Polish President Andrzej Duda said on Wednesday that it was “highly probable” that the strike resulted from Ukrainian air defense and appeared to be an accident. 

Zelensky said in the interview that he was "sure" that it was a Russian missile but also knew that Ukraine launched weapons to defend against the Russian attack. 

Recall that Tuesday night, almost immediately following the explosion on the Polish border and without evidence, Zelensky had demanded "action" from the West over the supposed brazen aggression against a NATO member. 

"Hitting NATO territory with missiles… This is a Russian missile attack on collective security! This is a really significant escalation. Action is needed," Zelensky said his Tuesday night video address.

In referencing "collective security" of NATO he was attempting to convince Brussels that military intervention was needed against Russia in defense of Poland. But now it seems with world opinion diverging from Ukraine's blanket assertions for once, Zelensky is slowly backing off his initial claims.

CNN subsequently cited Ukrainian military sources who are belatedly admitting the likelihood that it was their own missile. "The Ukrainian military told the US and allies that it attempted to intercept a Russian missile in that timeframe and near the location of the Poland missile strike, a US official told CNN," the report says. "It’s not clear that this air defense missile is the same missile that struck Poland, but this information has informed the ongoing US assessment of the strike."

Its The Russians Said Zelensky As Ukraine Bombed Poland

 An old Soviet produced missile (type 5V55K) used with the the S-300 air defense system the Ukrainian military has been is using against Russian cruise missile struck a village in Poland on November 15. The nominal range in air defense mode is 75 kilometer. If it fails to hit its target it is programmed to self destruct and the the debris is likely to fall at around that range. Przewodow in Poland (50.47099 lat, 23.93432 lon) where the missile landed, is some 70 kilometer northward of Lviv in western Ukraine.

Immediatelymember state by Russia and  Ukraine's clown - president Vobblyvoddymir Zelensky was demanding more weapons and money from the USA and NATO to help his country defend itself against Russian agression. Even now, two days after the event, when it has been poroved that the missile was not and could not have been fired by Russian troops because there are none within range, and the official narrative is that the Ukrainians fired the missile and it missed its target, Bellendsky is still insisting the incident was a deliberate attack on a NATO demanding NATO become directly involved in the military conflict, an action that would inevitably trigger World War Three.

Unfortunately there are more holes on that story than in a sieve.

Having up until now been a staunch supporter of Ukraine, Jaroslaw Pakula said the missile accident showed Warsaw needed to send a blunt message to Kiev rather than telling its own citizens “fairy tales.” “Of course, this is a Ukrainian rocket. Of course, this is a provocation on the part of the Ukrainian authorities,” Pakula posted on his Facebook page.

  “The rocket could not be fired 100km in the opposite direction by mistake,” he added, asserting that the incident was an attempt to scare the EU into sending more money to Ukraine. Demanding that Warsaw should “no longer put up with this behavior” from Ukraine, Pakula remarked, “I urge you to rethink Poland’s position [regarding] this war in the event that the red line is crossed again!” 

 Despite all evidence indicating the missile was fired by Ukraine, Zelensky has doubled down, denying that Kiev was involved and asking for his country to be at the forefront of an investigation. However, after President Joe Biden swiftly said the evidence for Russia’s involvement was minimal, CNN reported that Ukrainian military officials told their American and western allies that they were responsible for the blast. 

 Kiev had “attempted to intercept a Russian missile” at the same location and in the same time france as when the missile strike at the Polish village of Przewowdow occurred, according to the report. As many commentators have pointed out throughout the course of this war, none of us have any objective way to tell what's really going on here. Russia's use of propaganda in communicating with the outside world is long established and the Neo - Nazi Nutters in Kiev will say anything that advances their goal of kicking off World War 3.  But certainly Russia would have zero reason to attack Poland directly however missiles do malfunction or stray off course. If that was what happened Russia should apologize profusely and offer compensation. 

Russia has enough trouble dealing with Ukraine's NATO armed and supported military, taking on NATO in a more-than-proxy manner would be utter madness.

What is interesting is that the western elites were so quick to deny that it was a Russian missile. You know that if the western elites had wanted to widen the scope of the conflict, they would have claimed it was a Russian missile regardless and then used that as an excuse to do whatever they wanted to do.

But maybe western leaders have has enough of this war which is starting to look as if it could drag on for years and so now find it suits them to present Bellendsky as a madman intent on triggering a global, nuclear conflict. The "souring" relationship betwee Ukraine and USA has been ongoing for couple weeks. Biden reportedly lost his temper with Zelensky when the  Ukrainan leaders asked for more weapons and money last week and other leaders are becoming decidedly cool in their response to demands for more aid .

Why Are We Not Being Told the Truth About Ukraine?

While I wish it were otherwise, the unpleasant fact is that Ukraine cannot win the war against Russia. The Biden Administration and the leaders of the U.K. and European Union know this full well. The question is, how much longer will they persist in deceiving the public and wasting the resources of their nations on an unwinnable proxy war?

There is precedent for this behavior. As historian Barbara Tuchman writes in The March of Folly: 

[I]gnorance was not a factor in the American endeavor in Vietnam pursued through five successive presidencies . . . The folly consisted not in pursuit of a goal and ignorance of the obstacles but in persistence in the pursuit despite accumulating evidence that the goal was unattainable, and the effect disproportionate to the American interest and eventually damaging to American society, reputation and disposable power in the world.

We are watching history repeat itself. A new generation of American leadership is rushing headlong into the same traps that ensnared the Kennedy, Johnson, and Nixon administrations in Vietnam. The mistakes made then: veering outside of U.S. strategic interests, a ratcheting escalation of commitment of manpower and weapons, concomitant massive government spending contributing to an inflationary crisis, the institutionalized cognitive dissonance that refuses to acknowledge counterfactuals against the prevailing narrative, and finally, massive lying to the American public about the facts on the ground, are all being repeated in the war in Ukraine. These leaders’ actions are driven by the arrogance of power, an illusion of invincibility, a willful blindness, a refusal to admit error, and the Western obsession with dismantling the Putin regime and weakening Russia at any cost. 

And the costs have already been staggering.

Year-to-date through September, the United States has committed over $52 billion to support Ukraine, including nearly $28 billion in military aid. This is more than the United States spent in total during the five most expensive years of U.S. military engagement in Afghanistan. The EU, which has more to lose from the regional conflagration, has committed a relatively paltry $16 billion. The U.S. military-industrial complex is alive and well, and more than happy to see this war continue for as long as possible. This is not in America’s best interest. 

As terrible as the war and the suffering of the Ukrainian people are, Ukraine has never been in the United States’ core strategic interest. It is, however, clearly in Russia’s and in Europe’s. Once again, the United States has been suckered into doing the EU’s work. The U.S. government is now wading deeper and deeper into a conflict that the American people clearly did not want from the beginning of the war. Using a euphemism common in the early years of the Vietnam War, the U.S. government is now sending “advisors,” which the Pentagon has confirmed are military personnel, ostensibly to monitor and track the weapons it has contributed. At the same time, the U.S. Army’s elite 101st Airborne Division has been deployed to Europe for the first time since World War II, on what has been officially described as a “combat deployment.”

The American public repeatedly has been told that the Russian army is demoralized, that the Ukrainian military is prevailing on the battlefield, that Putin is dying of cancer and/or his generals are revolting, that sanctions are working, and that Russia’s economy is now worse than it was before the war. Like all good lies, these are built on kernels of truth exaggerated, twisted, or grossly inverted. The fact, as distasteful as it feels to most Americans and to me, is that Putin has a firm grip on power, Russian national income remains strong, and Russia has the upper hand in the conflict. That’s rich coming from two of the architects of a neo – Stalinist state.
Both Britain and America have the same problem in politics, the paries of the traditional duopoly have been bought and corrupted by corporate money. We need to find some new parties to vote for, ones that understand the concept of public service as opposed to serving the interests of the biggest donors.

Part of the explanation for the unexpectedly good showing of Democrats and the Republicans' underperformance against predictions (which were foolishly hyperbolic given recent experience,) of a 'Red Wave' submerging the Democrats  the was suggested by ‘TheLast Refuge” on twitter:

“Since the advent of ballot centric focus through mail-in and collection drop-off processes, votes have become increasingly less valuable amid the organizers who wish to control election outcomes.
As a direct and specific result, ballot distribution, assembly, collection and return has become the key to Democrat party success. The effort to attain votes for candidates is less important than the strategy of collecting ballots.
 

It should be emphasized; these are two distinctly different election systems. Ballots -vs- Votes. The system of ballot distribution and collection is far more susceptible to control than the traditional, now arcane, system of votes physically cast at precincts.
 

A *vote*cannot be cast by a person who is no longer alive, or no longer lives in the area. However, a *ballot* can be printed, distributed, completed and returned regardless of the status of the initially attributed and/or registered individual.”
 

Unless there is voting reform in the US (and UK,) elections, Democratic nominees will continue to be elected and will control the Government. I suspect that this is what happened when Biden beat Trump. Former was nowhere to be seen during the campaign yet managed to garner 10m more votes than Obama. People who try to initiate discussion of voting irregularities in the US 2020 Presidential Election are instantly dismissed as 'conspiracy theorists,' but though the numbers speak for themselves in telling a story of a broken electoral system. Not only did a demented old goofball with a long track record of unsavoury behaviour around pubescent girls win a record number of votes, his rival also gained more votes that any presidential candidate in any previous election. And yet neither of these candidates was particularly popular even among their own party's  voters.

All sorts of tales of suspicious voting patterns among voters using the mail in voting systems, of drop boxes being stuffed with ballots for one candidate and none for the other, and of blank ballot harvesting by representatives of religious and ethnic groups. All these stories were echoes of allegations made after the UK's 2019 election.

The case is that progressives (self righteous authoritarians,) have run the The USA's Democrat and Republican and UK's Conservative and Labour parties since around 1970ish. They have had temporary setbacks, particularly those inflicted by  Margaret Thatcher and Ronald Reagan but an overall trend of election results that do not relect the punlic mood but lead in the opposite direction has emeriged. This can be best observed in policies like imigraation, climate change and minority rights.

Bill Clinton was far more progressive than is usually thought and George W Bush was a neoliberal globalist. It was during Clinton's presidency that progressives took control of the national police and surveillance agencies and that surveillance regime has grown under every subsequent president. Conservative Prime Minister Ted Heath (1970 - 74) was a liberal, something he had in common with the majority of gay men, John Major and Tony Blair were globalists

 Since 2000, the Republicans won the popular vote in a presidential election only once: George W. Bush in 2004, when he painted opponents to his invasion of Iraq as traitors and his party managed to get gay marriage on the ballot in several key states (Gay marriage was very unpopular then and stimulated opponents to turn out.)

 In the meantime demographics have moved towards progressives too, as the immigration policies adopted by Kennedy in the USA and Wilson in UK bore fruit. Some media outlets have even debated abandoning pursuit of the working class in favor of the emerging diverse majority.

Progressives, or Cultural Marxists, to give them the more truthful label invented by The Frankfurt School of social philosophy in the 1920s or 30s, believe that western civilisation must be destroyed in order that a new, Statist model, a technocracy or managed society can replace it. Both George Orwell in his novel '1984' and Aldous Huxley in 'brave New World' predicted this and both, politically, were social democrats. Progressives are not democratic in any sense, their model society is based on governance by an unelected elite of financiers, scientists and academics and media moguls. Free Speech is banned, propaganda replaces news and information is strictly controlled by the state. Dissent is a crime.

Progressives will never lack money. Much of it is tax money sifted through public employee unions, NGO’s, or direct expenditures. These sources are inexhaustible, available on demand. It is judiciously supplemented by Wall St. wheeler/dealers, Hollywood moguls, and tech IPO billionaires.
Neither are progressives distracted by transient issues like climate, abortion, or gender identity all of which are bent to fit 'The Agenda.'. If this were 1950, Jeremy Corbyn or Bernie Sanders would be a Stalinist. The only reason they talks about pensions, health care, equal rights is because Stalin has not yet been rehabilitated.

Amazon Makes History After Losing $1 Trillion In Market Value Amid Tech Stock Rout

Amazon has become the first publicly traded company in history to lose $1 trillion in market valuation amid a volatile economy that has sparked a broad tech selloff.

The Jeff Bezos-founded company, valued close to $1.88 trillion on July 2021, saw its shares fall 4.3 percent on Wednesday, pushing its market value down to $878 billion. Amazon stock has lost nearly 50 percent of its value this year alone.

The loss comes shortly after Amazon’s market value fell below $1 trillion on Nov. 1 after the company posted disappointing results in its third-quarter earnings and predicted less than spectacular sales for the upcoming important holiday shopping season.

Amazon reported revenue of $127.1 billion in the third quarter, narrowly missing out on analysts’ forecasts of $127.5 billion, while net income fell to $2.9 billion, or $0.28 per share, down about 9 percent from the third quarter a year prior.

Brain inflammation and the mRNA vaccines

Three large insurance databases showed sharp increases in cases of severe brain inflammation after the Covid mRNA shots, according to a new peer-reviewed paper.

People who received the Pfizer jab or booster had a 40 to 70 percent higher chance over the next six weeks of encephalitis or encephalomyelitis. The Moderna jab carried an even higher risk after the second primary dose or a booster.

Encephalitis is inflammation of the brain itself, while encephalomyelitis is inflammation of nerve sheaths in the brain or spinal cord. Both can range from relatively mild conditions to serious or even fatal illnesses. The researchers reported 47 cases following Pfizer’s jab; they did not disclose an exact figure for Moderna’s.

EMA finally admits COVID Vaccination can have an Adverse Effect on Female Fertility

The European Medicines Agency (EMA) has finally admitted that Covid-19 vaccination can have an adverse effect on female fertility.

The admission comes months after it was revealed in confidential Pfizer documents revealed that shedding of the Covid-19 vaccine is possible by skin-to-skin contact and/or breathing the same air as a vaccinated person, and can, unfortunately, lead to menstrual cycle disruption among women and miscarriage among pregnant women. 

On the 28th October 2022, the EMA published new guidance that states “heavy menstrual bleeding should be added to the product information as a side effect of unknown frequency of the mRNA COVID-19 vaccines Comirnaty (Pfizer) and Spikevax (Moderna)”.

The EMA says that heavy menstrual bleeding can be defined as “bleeding characterised by an increased volume and/or duration which interferes with the person’s physical, social, emotional and material quality of life.”

The new guidance comes after they belatedly reviewed the available data, including cases reported during clinical trials, cases spontaneously reported in Eudravigilance and findings from the medical literature. Russia Orders Troops To Leave Kherson, But Zelensky's Office Cautions Over "Staged" Retreat

In a huge development being hailed as a victory for the Ukrainian counteroffensive, Gen. Sergei Surovikin, the overall commander of Russian forces in Ukraine, has announced a major withdrawal of his troops from Kherson. 

"We will save the lives of our soldiers and fighting capacity of our units. Keeping them on the right (western) bank is futile [of the Dnieper River]. Some of them can be used on other fronts," Surovikin said. This moment was somewhat expected, given pro-Kremlin officials have for weeks been overseeing a very public evacuation of civilians and the Russia-installed administration from the city.

The Washington Post and others are pointing out that this appears to be a "full withdrawal" from a strategic Black Sea city which Russia had controlled going back to March 2nd. "Russia’s defense minister said Wednesday that Russian troops were retreating east of the Dnieper River in what appeared to be a full withdrawal from the city of Kherson, the one regional capital Russia had captured since its February invasion," WaPo reports. "The move is a major setback for Russian President Vladimir Putin, who had declared the annexation of the Kherson region."

Indeed Kherson's strategic importance can't be underestimated, given the oblast borders Crimea and has served as a Russian "land bridge" and key logistics channel throughout the invasion. The sum total of what the world is constructing is nothing short of a planet-wide enslavement grid that has never been possible before. The individual parts create feedback loops that make it very difficult for people to extrapolate the long-term impacts.

The tyrants of the world are winning a massive arms race against the rest of humanity. We must not merely avoid these systems, rather every one of us is responsible for preventing them from being weaponised against the people.

How IPCC’s 1990 Climate Change Predictions Expensively Failed

It is now almost a third of a century since 1990, when IPCC made its first predictions about the weather. Since IPCC (2021) continues to predict the same 3 C° midrange long-term warming (equilibrium doubled-CO₂ sensitivity, or ECS, broadly equivalent to 20^th-century anthropogenic warming from all sources) as in 1990, it is high time someone examined IPCC’s medium-term predictions to shed light on the plausibility of its long-term predictions.

IPCC’s key medium-term prediction in 1990 was as follows –

“Based on current model results, we predict:

• “under the IPCC Business-as-Usual (Scenario A) emissions of greenhouse gases, a rate of increase of global mean temperature during the next century of about 0.3 C° per decade (with an uncertainty range of 0.2 C° to 0.5 C° per decade). This is greater than that seen over the past 10,000 years. This will result in a likely increase in global mean temperature of about 1 C° above the present value by 2025 and 3 C° before the end of the next century. The rise will not be steady because of the influence of other factors.”

IPCC also predicted as follows –

This second business-as-usual prediction was that there would be 1.8 C° warming from preindustrial times to 2030. Deducting the 0.45 C° warming up to 1990, the prediction amounted to 1.35 C° or about 0.34 C°/decade. Thus, IPCC predicted 0.3-0.34 C°/decade medium-term warming. However, only 0.14 C°/decade has occurred since 1990 –

A BRITISH scientist with 32 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry warned right at the start of the Covid vaccine rollout that under no circumstances should the gene-based, mRNA jab be given to women of child-bearing age without studies to confirm it was safe. 

Dr Mike Yeadon, former vice president for research at Pfizer, one of the manufacturers of the experimental mRNA products, filed a petition with the European Medicines Agency on December, 1, 2020, urging that even testing the jab on human volunteers was unethical without significant safety concerns being taken into account.

One of these was a similarity between virus proteins targeted by the proposed vaccinations and a protein (syncitin) essential for forming the placenta in pregnancy. U.S. Warming Over Last 50 Years Exaggerated by Up to 50%, New Evidence Shows

The widespread use of regularly adjusted global and local surface temperature datasets showing increasingly implausible rates of warming has been dealt a further blow with new groundbreaking research that shows 50% less warming over 50 years across the eastern United States. The research attempts to remove distortions caused by increasing urban heat and uses human-made structure density data over 50 years supplied by the Landsat satellites. The 50% reduction in the warming trend is by comparison with the official National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) homogenised surface temperature dataset.

The research was compiled by two atmospheric scientists at the University of Alabama in Huntsville, Dr. Roy Spencer and Professor John Christy. They used a dataset of urbanisation changes called ‘Built-Up’ to determine the average effect that urbanisation has had on surface temperatures. Urbanisation differences were compared to temperature differences from closely spaced weather stations. The temperature plotted was in the morning during the summertime. Ukraine - U.S. Deceives Allies To Keep Them In Line

The Biden administration launched a make-believe campaign that is supposed to calm those European 'allies' who press for peace talks over  Ukraine.

But, as the Washington Post provides, the alleged Biden push towards negotiations is a sham:

The Biden administration is privately encouraging Ukraine’s leaders to signal an openness to negotiate with Russia and drop their public refusal to engage in peace talks unless President Vladimir Putin is removed from power, according to people familiar with the discussions.

The request by American officials is not aimed at pushing Ukraine to the negotiating table, these people said. Rather, they called it a calculated attempt to ensure the government in Kyiv maintains the support of other nations facing constituencies wary of fueling a war for many years to come.

While U.S. officials share their Ukrainian counterparts’ assessment that Putin, for now, isn’t serious about negotiations, they acknowledge that President Volodymyr Zelensky’s ban on talks with him has generated concern in parts of Europe, Africa and Latin America, where the war’s disruptive effects on the availability and cost of food and fuel are felt most sharply.
