Church of England Begins Drive to Promote Ethnic Minority Clergy, Accusing Itself of ‘Institutional Racism’

Old white clergymen? Young black choirboys and girls? Looks a bit dodgy from here ...

The Church of England has vowed to fast-track black and ethnic minority clergy into positions of authority, accusing itself of institutional racism. The Church will identify a “talent pool” of ethnic minority clergy this year, who will be mentored with the aim of increasing representation among bishops, deans and archdeacons.

Currently there are five black, Asian and ethnic minority (BAME) clergy in leadership positions within the Church, of which John Sentamu, the Archbishop of York, is perhaps the best well known, the Guardian has reported. In addition, approximately three per cent of the last general synod – the Church’s parliament – were from ethnic minorities. A breakdown of the new synod, which has just been elected, has not yet been released.

The figures are in line with the general makeup of the Church’s professional body – 2.8 per cent of clergy overall are from ethnic minorities. There are no statistics on how many ethnic minority congregants worship within the Church of England each week, but the fact that Pentecostal churches, attended predominantly by black Christians, are thriving has been highlighted by those seeking to make a case that the church is institutionally racist, driving congregants away.

And this incorrigible old atheist has gone through most of his irreligious life thinking self flagellation was just a Catholic thing.

Liberal and socialist guilt addiction brings to mind the "we are not worthy" scene in Wayne's World" which is high comedy but does reflect the kind of inferiority complex inflicted on people by the politically correct, culturally Marxist education provided by state controlled education systems. .

Liberals and socialists are guilty of course, guilty of treason, and they deserve its traditional punishment. Especially since they want to drag us all down to a kind of politically correct hell on Earth in which we are all condemned to spend our lives apologising for the (imagined) sins of our forebears.

Rather than allowing The Church of England to introduce racist and homophiliac employment policies that discriminate in favour of ethnic, religious and sexual minorities, all applicants for the clergy should be required to read The Screwtape Letters by C S Lewis. The story takes the form of a series of letters from a senior demon, Screwtape, to his nephew Wormwood, a junior tempter. At one point, reference is made by Screwtape to other juniors as to what they will specialize in. One replies, (I write from memory): I will make men believe that Evil does not exist, to which Screwtape replies, You will have every success. We must picture hell as a state where everyone is perpetually concerned about his own dignity and advancement, where everyone has a grievance, and where everyone lives with the deadly serious passions of envy, self-importance, and resentment.” (C.S. The Church of England (which was always irrelevant to me and many others) becomes more irrelevant with each day that passes, thanks to the weak, effete, angst - ridden hand-wringing of politically correct bishops and other senior clergy it has seen fit to elevate over the past decades. It is now just one more political enterprise, whose leaders have abandoned the notion of serving communities in favour of serving their own interests and their own self righteousness, much like the majority of registered charity organisations, the directors of which line their own pockets and live the high life on expenses while ensuring very little of the available revenue goes to doing good.

The C of E's problems seem manifold and a total craptangle, until you realise that the fundamental cause is simply that they are no longer primarily Christian. They are definitely religious, but, like the Roman Catholic church and all other hierarchical ecclesiastical organisations which crave political influence in the modern world, any residual commitment to the core values of Christianity itself has to compete with any number of other 'practical' considerations. They are as much the Church of Community Cohesion, The Church Of Multiculturalism, or the Church of Human Rights and Social Justice, as they are a church of believers in Jesus. Worthy, perhaps, but no more Christian than any other philanthropic organisation.

The Gold Scandal That Goes To The Very Top

Best known known for luxury shopping, over-the-top architecture including the world's tallest building, a lively social scene, and a facade of secular open - mindedness, Dubai ought to be even better known for the underbelly of corruption and unrestricted criminality among the billionaires, oligarchs, princes, shieks and sultans, who quietly dominate dominate the global power and financial structure and have set up bases there because the local Shiek take a very benign view of anything that earns money for Dubai without actually breaking any laws in Dubai (and Dubai has very few laws covering offshore activities of financial traders).

First, the background.

Only a few short ago Iran was a pariah state subject to international financial sanctions due to its nuclear weapons program. Israel had repeatedly threatened it would attack preemptively to prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon.
Iran had to find ways to keep its economy running, and in order to circumvent these sanctions, it resorted to the oldest trade currency known: gold.

This, in itself, is not surprising nor is it news which rogue state Iran collaborated with to breach the international embargo and obtain the gold needed to finance trade with other countries, notably those along the Pacific Rim. A Reuters article from October 2012 explained, in broad terms, just how Iran's intricate smuggling operation worked.

To see one of Iran's financial lifelines at work, pay a visit to Istanbul's Ataturk International Airport and find a gate for a flight to Dubai. Couriers carrying millions of dollars worth of gold bullion in their luggage have been flying from Istanbul to Dubai, where the gold is shipped on to Iran, according to industry sources with knowledge of the business.

The sums involved are enormous. Official Turkish trade data suggests nearly $2 billion worth of gold was sent to Dubai on behalf of Iranian buyers in August. The shipments help Tehran manage its finances in the face of Western financial sanctions.

The sanctions, imposed over Iran's disputed nuclear program, have largely frozen it out of the global banking system, making it hard for it to conduct international money transfers. By using physical gold, Iran can continue to move its wealth across borders.

"Every currency in the world has an identity, but gold means value without identity. The value is absolute wherever you go," said a trader in Dubai with knowledge of the gold trade between Turkey and Iran.

The identity of the ultimate destination of the gold in Iran is not known. But the scale of the operation through Dubai and its sudden growth suggest the Iranian government plays a role.

The Dubai trader and other sources familiar with the business spoke to Reuters on condition of anonymity, because of the political and commercial sensitivity of the matter.

Iran sells oil and gas to Turkey, with payments made to state Iranian institutions. U.S. and European banking sanctions ban payments in U.S. dollars or euros so Iran gets paid in Turkish lira. Lira are of limited value for buying goods on international markets but ideal for a gold buying spree in Turkey.

Three years ago then, Turkey was buying oil from Iran and paying in gold. Now with sanctions on Iran lifted, The Turkish family of Recep Erdogan are taking oil from ISIS and paying in dollars, for the simple reason that there is no banking embargo against the Islamic State like there was against Iran in 2012. One almost wonders why the international community was far stricter with Iran than it is with ISIS now.

Direct gold exports to Iran from Turkey, long a major consumer and stockpiler of gold, hit $1.8 billion in July - equivalent to over a fifth of Turkey's entire trade deficit in that month.

In August, however, a sudden plunge in Turkey's direct gold exports to Iran coincided with a leap in its sales of the precious metal to the UAE. Turkey exported a total $2.3 billion worth of gold in August, of which $2.1 billion was gold bullion. Just over $1.9 billion, about 36 metric tons, was sent to the UAE, latest available data from Turkey's Statistics Office shows. In July Turkey exported only $7 million of gold to the UAE. At the same time Turkey's direct gold exports to Iran, which had been fluctuating between $1.2 billion and about $1.8 billion each month since April, slumped to just $180 million in August.

The Dubai-based trader said that from August, direct shipments to Iran were largely replaced by indirect ones through Dubai, apparently because Tehran wanted to avoid publicity.

"The trade from Turkey directly to Iran has stopped because there was just too much publicity around it," said the trader.

However, instead of suddenly having a craving for Turkish gold, Dubai was merely a middleman which would then resell Turkey's gold to Iran, in exchange for a very generous commission.

It is not clear how the gold is moved from Dubai to Iran, but with the two countries only a distance of only about 150 kilometers (100 miles)apart at the shortest sea crossing there is always substantial traffic between the two economies, much of it transported by wooden dhows and other ships crossing the Gulf. And like many other things in Dubai, customs controls can be very lax if 'the right people have been appraised of the geopolitical importance of the trades'.

A gold trader in Turkey said Tehran had shifted to indirect imports because the direct shipments were widely reported in Turkish and international media earlier this year. "Now on paper it looks like the gold is going to Dubai, not to Iran," he said.

Iranian gold buyers may want to conceal their Turkish gold deliveries for fear of attracting attention from the United States, which is pressing countries around the world to shrink their economic ties with Iran.

The buyers may also want to protect their purchases from any possible interference by Turkey's government. Turkey's close relationship with Iran has begun to sour as the two states find themselves on opposite sides of the civil war in Syria.

Fear not: if the family of Turkish President and international illegal oil trader Recep Erdogan were guaranteed, say 5% of the total transaction price, it would turn a blind eye, even if the Ayatollahs were singing lullabies and war chants to Assad in his bedroom.

But why gold?

Simples: while Iran's banks were locked out of SWIFT international money transfer system (until mid-2015 when Obama's historic nuclear deal with Iran was announced and let Iran back into the global financial community), and commerce was virtually impossible in fiat currency terms, the UN sanctions did not prohibit most forms of trade. As a result there was no suggestion that the gold trade involving Dubai was violating international sanctions. In fact, the west tacitly encouraged, and Turkey latched on to this great source of trade arbitrage, and unbridled corruption with both hands.

What should concern us us that the levels of oversight (including electronic surveillance) of markets by Western government and the numbers of 'intelligence gathering' operatives they have on the ground in middle eastern countries, western governments cannot possibly have been unaware of this latest example of Turkey's involvement in the Sunni Muslim plot to establish an Islamic Caliphate, why has nothing been done again. Is it the case once again that the Obama administration has sided with Islamist nutters and left Vladimir Putin to save western civilisation?

Fatberg: The Danger That Lurks Down Below.

As I started reading a story on Russia Today's UK News page, at the end of paragraph two something struck a chord in my memory.

from Russia Today:

A giant “fatberg” found in a London sewer could have put houses at risk of flooding over the festive period, Thames Water has warned.

The huge mass of waste products, made up of grease, fat, and items which do not break down in sewage water such as face wipes and diapers, was found underneath Leather Lane in Clerkenwell.

Thames Water said if the fatberg had not been discovered, it could well have caused sewage pipes to burst and flood homes.

Following the discovery on December 19, teams of specialist engineers have worked throughout the week to break down the mass into smaller pieces and get rid of the numerous items that had become stuck in the grease.

And then it came to me, this is why the story stirred my memory:

Not a suitable subject for humour (or humor) at Christmas you may think, but people need top be aware of all the many existential treats to our civilization that are out there. Who knows what monstrous life form may evolve from the fatbergs. Obviously there is human and other types on DNA 'Down Below' along with all sorts of dodgy chemicals. Was there an X Files episode about it once?

Boko Haram Winning On Massive Scale In Northern Nigeria — 1 Million Violently Forced Out of Schools

We have not heard much of Boko Haram, the Islamic extremist group operating in Nigeria and neighboring countries Niger, Chad and Mali for a while, most news has been dominated by Syria and the middle east, and and there are neither enough time nor enough resources to report or discuss everything that happens in the world, especially for a little club for old guys who still believe there is more to life than sitting around playing dominoes which is what The Daily Stirrer is.

This lack of reporting however has led to some people, mostly the ill informed but in some cases the delusional to believe Nigeria's new Muslim dominated government has defeated the extremists (see story above). In fact Boko Haram are stronger than ever in northern Nigeria, the area where their strength always lay. Their attacks throughout the year have forced more than 1 million children out of school, heightening the risk they will be abused, abducted or recruited by armed groups, the United Nations children’s agency stated in a press release (Tuesday 22-Dec-15).

(Sarcasm alert: heave sarcasm indulged in at the end of the article)

The conflict has forced the closure of over than 2,000 schools in Nigeria, Cameroon, Chad and Niger, the agency said. Some have been looted or set on fire by the insurgent group whose name means “Western education is sinful.”

“The conflict has been a huge blow for education in the region, and violence has kept many children out of the classroom for more than a year, putting them at risk of dropping out of school altogether,” said Manuel Fontaine, UNICEF’s West and Central Africa Regional Director. "Before the crisis, an estimated 11 million children of primary school age were already out of school in the four neighboring countries where Boko Haram stages attacks," he added.

Schools in northeastern Nigeria are reopening, but many classes are overcrowded or the buildings are being used as refuges for people displaced by the conflict. Fear of reprisals is also preventing teachers from going back to classes. About 600 teachers have been killed during Boko Haram’s six-year insurgency, according to the press release.

“The challenge we face is to keep children safe without interrupting their schooling,” Fontaine told reporters. “Schools have been targets of attack, so children are scared to go back to the classroom, yet the longer they stay out of school, the greater the risks of being abused, abducted and recruited by armed groups.”

Boko Haram’s insurrection has so far resulted in about 20,000 dead and 2.3 million displaced from their homes, according to Amnesty International and United Nations estimates.

This story made us Stirrers sit up and go HUH, WHAT? Sub Saharan Africans, the most enlightened and wonderfully wonderful ethnic group on the planet are killing, raping, kidnapping, enslaving other Sub Saharan African's and destroying schools, homes and villages in the name of Islam?

Haven't they heard that #BlackLivesMatter or that Islam is the Religion of Peace?

They should make viewing BBC News 24 and BBC current affairs programmes and reading The Guardian or the New York Times compulsory for all Africans in Africa .... sounds like the bastards need some brainwashing about how everything is Whitey's fault.

Or perhaps this is just a case of modern day Africans behaving exactly as their ancestors have since Time began.Maybe it's cultural?

Hersh Bombshell: US Military Defied Obama, Shared Intelligence With Assad

It is widely agreed that Seymour Hersh is one of the few remaining investigative journalists prepared to go out on a limb and challenge the government / financial complex. A quick Google or Bing search on his name reveals the lengths to which government officials, corporate public relations chiefs and mainstream media will go o discredit him.

In May 2015, Seymour Hersh overturned the highly suspect official narrative on the death of Osama bin Laden and in the process created a media firestorm prompting a response from the White House. (Boggart Abroad knows from a reliable source Bin Laden died between 2001 of an untreatable kidney condition that had kept him hospitalised for several years). Former Pakistani Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto revealed this when speaking to UK Broadcaster David Frost in an interview for Al Jazeera [YouTube clip], although the details she gives differ slightly from those we have, the stories are broadly the same. Though the revalation was not picked up by western media, Ms. Bhutto was assassinated a few weeks after that interview.

Now while we would obviously argue that the man taken out by US Navy Seals was not Bin Laden and the operation was staged as a public relations exercise, Hersh's revelations about the events leading to what was presented as the capture and killing of Osama bin Laden eighteen months after Hersh exposed the Obama administration's lies about the Syrian sarin gas attack that would have been used as justification for airstrikes against the Assad regime in 2013 had not Vladimir Putin warned Obama directly that the consequences of attacking Assad would be dire.

We have always said the Syrian conflict was a proxy war waged by the USA against Russia and it seems that unfortunate country, having been ravaged by US and Saudi Arabian sponsored terrorists for four years is now the theatre for what amounts to World War III with the FUKUS axis (France, United Kingdom, USA)and Saudi Arabia,Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Turkey and Iraq ranged against Russia, and Iran all involved at some level.

Three factions are forming in the Mid-East: 1) Russia, Iran, Syria, and Iraq; 2) Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar; 3) Britain, France, and the USA (with a half hearted contribution from Germany.

Zero Hedge described the situation thus:

The first alliance is pro-Assad, anti-terror. The second is anti-Assad, pro-Sunni extremist. The third is anti-Assad (although less vehemently so), anti-terror (conspiracy theories aside). Note that we've left the US out. Why? Because Washington is now stuck. The US wants desperately to maintain coordination with Ankara, Riyadh, and Doha, but between stepped up media coverage of Saudi Arabia's role in underwriting extremism (via the promotion of Wahhabism) and hightened scrutiny on Erdogan's role in financing terrorists, the position is becoming increasingly untenable. But aligning solely with the UK, France, and Germany entails adopting a more conciliatory approach to Assad - just ask Berlin which, as we reported on Friday, is now working with Assad's intelligence police and may soon establish a base in Damascus.

According to Seymour Hersh’s latest article not everybody in Washington is happy with Obama's aligning the USA with Sunni Muslim extremist regimes such as the absolute monarchies of Saudi Arabia and Qatar. Some elements within the US military have been tacitly cooperating with Assad for over two years, having becoming concerned about Turkey and Saudi Arabia's support for ISIS and other extremist groups.

In a new 6,600 word piece, Hersh details what he says was a covert plot by the Joint Chiefs of Staff to undercut the “Assad must go” line promoted and pursued by the Obama administration and the CIA on the way to sharing valuable intelligence with the Assad government. The report also verifies the role of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and especially Turkey in arming and financing al-Nusra and ISIS. Climate Predictions, Economics and Realities

As we read (and publish ourselves) report after report exposing the whole global warming / climate change fear and panic mongering exercise as a multi-billion-dollar scam that has made domestic fuel so expensive that poor people, even in developed countries like Britain are having to choose between eating and warming their homes. Meanwhile fat, evil bastards like Al Gore, Bill Gates, George Soros and inevitably the Rothschilds are making big money, industrialists in India like Mittal and Tata are coining it by manufacturing windmills and solar planels, people who have wind farms on their land are shovelling the green subsidies paid out of our taxes into their bottomless pockets and the crooked lying scientists who have kept their piggy snouts in the trough by producing results to order have done very nicely thank you.

The other big winner is the international organisation explicitly set up to make predictions of what would happen in the future based on mathematical models of a reality that only existed in computer memory and the fervid imaginations of sociopathic mad scientists (I'm on a hyperbole trip today, alright?) The worst thing that happened for us was that the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) got its first set of predictions nearly right. When I say nearly, that's a scientific nearly of course, it allows a plus or minus forty nine per cent margin of error.

The IPCC predictions, made in 1990, were of global temperature rises: the argument over man-made climate change.

Bearing in mind that “right” is a relative term, they predicted a rise of about 0.55C, and it’s gone up by about 0.39C: hardly pinpoint accuracy, but within the margin of error. Now we have grounds here to ask those "the science is settled" tossers how can a discrepancy of 0.16/0.55 be within any meaningful margin for error? That is an error of over 29% which is pretty big. WTF is the margin?

You might not realise, having heard lots of confident statements about hurricane patterns in the Atlantic, or the Office for Budget Responsibility’s claims that Britain’s GDP will grow by 2.8 per cent in 2017 that statistical prediction is not an exact science. But what's decimal place or two, we are talking serious science here and how can scientists be taken seriously when their old predictions are so wrong.

For example, the Office of Budget Responsibility’s predictions for growth in 2012 (based on computer models of the economy) were revised from 2.8 per cent to -0.1 per cent. Isn't this enough to discredit the business of predicting economic results? you might well ask. Actually no, by the time the revised figure is announced the original highly optimistic number has done its job and grabbed splah headlines hailing the economic recovery. The much more realistic revised figure gets hardly any media coverage. Well - "economic scientists screw up again," is hardly news is it? On the other hand, as I said, "right" is a relative term and as you can see, compared to the economic predictions, the climate scientists were "nearly right".

While there’s no doubt in the minds of those who make a living or a fortune from spreading fear and panic about global warming that the world is warming at an accelerating rate (despite it's not having shown any empirical evidence of warming for almost twenty years) there is serious disagreement in the scientific community over the accuracy of the models used to predict that warming and its side effects. In my Little Nicky Mschiavelli blog I reported that American Warmageddonist scientists have again been caught manipulating data to make the empirical data on temperatures agree with the higher figures predicted by the mathematical models (Is This The End For The Climate Science Scam).

So really it is the climate scientists and their obsession with mathematics and statistics to the detriment of reality who have given us the best argument for climate change rejectionism.

Climate modeling has an even worse track record than economic modeling, and this isn't down to methodology and mathematics but ontology and epistemology*. The social world is too different from the natural world to assume you can get the same reliable results.

To get back to the fraud, predictions of the consequences of a 0.39 degree increase would presumably have been quite different from those from a 0.55 degree increase. It simply isn't acceptable to say that "we predicted A, but it turned out to be off by 30%, but as that's not a million miles away we will say we were sort of right all along". And it is even less acceptable to say, when challenged, "You're not a scientist so you don't understand how science works." I can be a tad pedntic you see so when I see some Church Of Scientism fanatic babbling about scientific precision and then a few days lates saying "Twenty nine per cent out, that's close enough for jazz," I know I am dealing with a phoney, a fraud and a fuckwit.

For all I know, 0.39 over 20 years may not be out of line with (or within 30% of?) longer term trends. I don't know. All I know is that you can't seriously argue that an almost 30% error is marginal and if that is what the Warmageddonists are trying to tell us, they as I have suggested many times, they are a troupe of clowns.

*Somebody is bound to try and tell me that ontology and epistemology mean the same. They don't. Ontology refers to the study of the existence, nature, or being of a certain entity. It answers the question ‘what is’?’ Basically, ontology involves the existence and presence of a certain topic, such as, a certain disease condition.

On the other hand, epistemology refers to the body of philosophy that involves with the presence of knowledge. To make this more simple, epistemology indicates that we know about something occurring because of the knowledge that we have about it. It answers the questions that begin in ‘how’ or ‘what’.

We have been warning for years that greed, incompetence and a gung ho attitude towards sovereign nation that asset their independence that have typified Washington foreign policy for the past thirty five years were earning the USA more enemies than friends. In the case of small, third world nations there was little they could do against US bullying except comply or be prepared to have the eight shades of crap bombed out of them (this indicates the brutality of American bombing campaigns as there were previously only seven shades of crap known to science.

but when a nation, even one as powerful as the USA starts trying to bully rivals like Russia and China we can be sure the arrogance and insanity that always destroy empires has infected the power elite.

All over the world, those who live outside the US are increasingly observing that the US has become so drunk with power that they’re threatening both friend and foe with fines, trade restrictions, monetary sanctions, warfare, and invasions.

And in so-observing, those of us who have studied the history of empires note that history is once again repeating itself. Time and time again, great empires build themselves up through industriousness and sound economic management only to subsequently decline into debt, complacency, and an entitlement mind-set.

Over the millennia, empires as disparate as Persia, Rome, Spain, and Great Britain rose to dominate the world. Of course, we know how those empires turned out and, by extension, we might hazard an educated guess as to how the present American Empire will end.

In the final throes of empire-decline, we invariably observe the more sociopathic trends of a failing power, such as we’re seeing today from the US.

The Source Of Islamic Radicalism Is biggest US Ally In The Middle East

From the fall of The Ottoman Empire after World War 1, Throughout the rest of the 20th century into 21st, the evolution of Islamic culture has not been rational. Rather than moving forwards with Europe and North America, India and (rather belatedly due to communism) China, the main Islamic nations seem to have slid backwards toward medievalism. If we accept that social selection (or social conditioning) plays the same role in the evolution of societies as natural selection plays in the biological sciences: that is the traits, norms and values which are most conducive to strengthening the cultural community are favoured, then we see why, even as the 'progressives' scream about white privilege, Europe and the USA have manage to streak ahead of other cultures in terms of lifestyle, material benefits, health and longevity. Seen from this angle, social diversity is a desirable quality for social progress; because when diverse customs and value-systems compete with each other, the culture retains the beneficial customs and values and discards the deleterious traditions and habits. Diversity however is a bit more complex than simply lumping people of different skin colours together.

The irony is that cultures rich in diversity, such as those of Europe and North America, with populations formed of well educated and highly individualistic people is less well equipped to survive when the going gets tough than a highly centralized and tightly organized society such as those dominated by religion.

A decentralized and unorganized religion, like Sufi Islam or protestant Christianity, encourage diversity of belief and interpretation and this diversity tends to neutralise the messages of extremist groups. On the other hand, theocratic authoritarianism depends more on dogma and threat of osratacism or excommunication rather than gaining appeal through the moral framework and community bonds it offers. A centralized religion is also less receptive to change that a more liberally structured religion.

The resurgence of religious extremism and the consequent militancy and terrorism in Syria, Iraq and the Afghan - Pakistan region in particular and the Islamic world in general is not a natural evolution of religion, some mutations have occurred which have spread the whole of Islamic world. Most Pakistani political commentators blame the Afghan and Pakistani political establishment for promoting religious extremism and militancy throughout the ‘80s and ‘90s in order to create a Jihadi narrative which served the totalitarian instincts of and strategic objectives of military governments.

The Af-Pak region however is a fairly isolated and non typical manifestation of Islam (as anyone who has watched the Sean Connery / Michael Caine move "The Man Who Would be King" will understand although the producers wisely followed author Rudyard Kipling in setting the story in a fictional country with a fictional religion,) but the support of Pakistani armed services for Islamic jihadism during the late stages of the Cold War is only one factor in many that have to be considered in order to reach a comprehensive understanding of the phenomena of Islamic radicalism and the agents that are responsible for it. The resurgence of extremism is not limited to the Af-Pak region, the whole of Islamic world from Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco and Algeria in north Africa to Nigeria, Congo and Kenya in sub Saharan Africa, the Balkans and Caucasian nations in Europe, India and Indonesia. Muslim minorities in Malaysia, Thailand, China and Philippines have also become involved in seditious protest and efforts to destabilise nations in parts of the world where the Pakistani military have no influence whatsoever

It is becoming more and more obvious as evidence stacks up, the real culprit behind the rise of Islamic extremism and jihadism in the Islamic world is Saudi Arabia. The “Aal-e-Saud” (the descendants of Saud) have no hereditary claim to “the Throne of Mecca” since they are not the descendants of the prophet, nor even from the tribe of Quraysh (custodians of throne of Mecca from the pagan era,) of whom the Koran says:

For the protection of Quraysh: their protection in their summer and winter journeyings. Therefore let them worship the Lord of this House who fed them in the days of famine and shielded them from all peril." (Surah 106:1-2)

The Quraysh were the most primitive nomadic tribesmen of Najd who defeated the Sharifs of Mecca violently after the collapse of the Ottoman Empire in the First World War. Their title to the throne of Saudi Arabia is only de facto and not de jure, since they have no hereditary claim to the Saudi monarchy nor do they hold elections to ascertain the will of the Saudi people. Thus, they are the illegitimate rulers of Saudi Arabia, installed for political advantage by colonial powers France and Britain (the latter working through through the agency of Lawrence Of Arabia) after The Ottoman Empire collapsed in the years following 1918. Like all tyrannies that have seized power illegitimately they feel insecure because of their illegitimacy, a fact which explains their heavy-handed and brutal tactics in dealing with any kind of dissent, opposition or movement for reform in Saudi Arabia.

The phenomena of religious extremism and jihadism all over the Islamic world is directly linked to the Wahhabi-Salafi madrassahs which are generously funded by the Saudi and Gulf’s petro-dollars.

Another factor in the rise of Wahhabi-Salafi ideology throughout the Islamic world is the immigrant factor. Millions of Muslims, mainly single men, a few with women and families from all over heavily populated Third World Islamic countries live and work in the energy-rich Saudi Arabia, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait and Oman. Some of them permanently reside there but mostly they work on temporary work permits. Just like the pilgrims, when they come back to their native villages and towns, they also bring along the tales of Arab hospitality and their version of “authentic Islam.” Spending time in the Arab countries where The Prophet lived and travelled to spread his message entitles one to pass authoritative judgments on religious matters, and having a cursory understanding of Arabic, the language of Quran, makes one equivalent of a Qazi (a learned jurist) among the illiterate village folk; and they simply reproduce the customs and attitudes of the Arabs, whose Wahhabi and Salafist sects are the most extreme form of Islam, as the authentic Islam to their communities just as missionaries of the Roman Catholic Church for centuries maintained its domination by claiming the centralised, organised, hierachic and politically corrupt sect was 'the one true church of Christ.

In fact it is generally assumed about Sunni Islam that it discourages the authority of the clergy and in this sense, is closer to Protestantism, at least theoretically, because it prefers an individual and personal interpretation of scriptures and religion to the hierarchic theocracy of Shia. While this might be true for the enlightened, educated and westernised Sunni Muslims for the illiterate masses of the Third World Islamic countries “the House of Saud” plays the same role in Sunni Islam that the Pope plays in Catholicism.

When we hear slogans like “no democracy, just Islam” on the streets of the Third World Islamic countriell as in the bloodstained avenues of Paris, London or New York, it is tempting to ask what kind of an imbecile nation would forgo its right to choose the government through a democratic and election? Increasingly however we see democracy failing or being usurped by 'liberal' elites or socialist oligarchies. This is due to to a large extent to voters having been fed through media propaganda the 'pensée unique' fallacy that conflates democracy with with politically correct thinking. Democracy is only a political process of choosing one’s representatives and legislators through an electoral process, while liberalism is a cultural mindset. And in many democratic societies the determination of political, professional and academic elites that when it comes to gaining and holding power, the end justifies the means, is it any wonder social evolution has gone into reverse and we seem to be heading back to a kind of feudalism.

The American Media Didn’t Report on This One?! Chinese Lunar Rover Finds No Evidence of American Moon Landings

Beijing – Top officials of the Chinese Space Program have expressed their feelings that the American moon landings “were a complete hoax” reports the Beijing Daily Express.

200 high-ranking officials from the Chinese Space Program have signed a petition asking explanations from the American government and the release of classified NASA information concerning the American moon landings that would prove to the World that the moon landings were not an elaborately orchestrated hoax to fool the World about America’s space program capabilities.

These allegations have come up through recent analysis of pictures taken from the Chinese moon rover that allegedly found no traces of the American moon landings existing on the moon.

World renowned Russian nuclear engineer Yury Ignatyevich Mukhin has also signed the petition as well as a dozen other top Russian engineers and ex-KGB agents claiming the Russian Government “had always been aware of the situation since the early 1970′s”

science heads are asking how, if the 1969 moon landing was a hoax and it is impossible to make round trips to the moon (as NASA have recently admitted) how did the Chinese get there. This is not a manned mission however and my understanding is the Chinese have no intention of getting their Meccano kit (above) back from the moon.
And of course the two main problem areas are getting humans through the radiation belts and getting hardware back to earth. But as I find the whole topic of ‘space’ boring (the clue is in the name, there’s nothing there) I don’t really care. Just thought this story was amusing in view of all the excitement about our UK Astronaut guy going into ‘space’ (he hasn’t really, the thermosphere in which the Space Station orbits, is not even the outermost layer of the atmosphere).

China and Russia Challenge US Dominated IMF

This blog is part of a network of controversial opinion publisher with many outlets around the web. Here, a blog which has recently become active after languishing in a state of neglect for TEN years because the three main contributors found it easier to attract good traffic elsewhere. One of the themes we have always pursued on all our blogs is the increasingly insecure position of the US dollar as global reserve currency.

So great are the threats to dollar and petrodollar dominance that we have a special Currency Wars Omnibus page which functions as a hub for all our posts on moves led by China, Russia and Iran to replace the US dollar with an international trading currency not controlled by any single nation.

In the latest moves in this non shooting war being waged by the Chinese and Russians (as opposed to the lot of shooting war the USA and its few remaining allies have been trying to start in the middle east, rhe US dominated IMF (International Monetary Fund) is now trying to economically isloate Russia and China. But as Russia and China have already set up infrastructures that will make them independent of the IMF, the move may be too late.

For U.S. geopolitical strategists who for years have been planning for a global economic hegemony backed by US military superiority, a nightmare scenario seems to be developing. Since the escalation of Russia's support for the Assad regime in Syria, senior Pentagon officials have been shocked by Russian advances in military technology and are aware China is possibly further advanced. US Military superiority is an illusion. Foreign economic independence from U.S. control has been exposed as a myth too. Instead of neoliberalizing the world under U.S. centered financial ownership and control, the Russian and Chinese governments have invested in emerging economies worldwide on terms that cement Eurasian economic integration on the basis of Russian oil and gas exports and Chinese financing. US foreign investment has always been exploitative and rapacious, effectively designed to plunder nations foolsh enough to sign trade deals with the USA.

The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) threatens to replace the IMF and World Bank programs that favor U.S. suppliers, banks and bondholders (with the United States holding unique veto power). Russia's BRICS bank is becoming a rival to The World Bank

Russia’s 2013 loan to Ukraine, made at the request of Ukraine’s elected pro-Russian government, demonstrated the benefits of mutual trade and investment relations between the two countries. As Russian finance minister Anton Siluanov points out, Ukraine’s “international reserves were barely enough to cover three months’ imports, and no other creditor was prepared to lend on terms acceptable to Kiev. Yet Russia provided $3 billion of much-needed funding at a 5 per cent interest rate, when Ukraine’s bonds were yielding nearly 12 per cent.”[1]

What especially annoys U.S. financial strategists is that this loan by Russia’s sovereign debt fund was protected by IMF lending practice, which at that time ensured collectability by withholding new credit from countries in default of foreign official debts (or at least, not bargaining in good faith to pay). To cap matters, the bonds are registered under London’s creditor-oriented rules and courts.

On December 3 (one week before the IMF changed its rules so as to hurt Russia), Prime Minister Putin proposed that Russia “and other Eurasian Economic Union countries should kick-off consultations with members of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) on a possible economic partnership.”[2] Russia also is seeking to build pipelines to Europe through friendly instead of U.S.-backed countries.

Moving to denominate their trade and investment in their own currencies instead of dollars, China and Russia are creating a geopolitical system free from U.S. control. After U.S. officials threatened to derange Russia’s banking linkages by cutting it off from the SWIFT interbank clearing system, China accelerated its creation of the alternative China International Payments System (CIPS), with its own credit card system to protect Eurasian economies from the shrill threats made by U.S. unilateralists.

Russia and China are simply doing what the United States has long done: using trade and credit linkages to cement their geopolitical diplomacy. This tectonic geopolitical shift is a Copernican threat to New Cold War ideology: Instead of the world economy revolving around the United States (the Ptolemaic idea of America as “the indispensible nation”), it may revolve around Eurasia. As long as the global financial papacy remains grounded in Washington at the offices of the IMF and World Bank, such a shift in the center of gravity will be fought with all the power of the American Century (indeed, American Millennium) inquisition.

To U.S. neocons and globalists the threat of AIIB and BRICS bank government-to-government lending and investment raises the spectre of a world independent of the control the USA has exercised as issuer of the de facto world reserve currency.

Though there have always been several currencies apart from the US$ in which international trade is transacted (the UK Pound, Swiss France, the Euro (previously the Deutschmark,) Japanese Yen and Swiss France trade in US dollars was many times greater than the sum of trades in other currencies. In the new system, made possible because the world's financial centers are linked by computer, nations would issue their own money and hold each other’s debt as international reserves instead of borrowing or holding dollars this handing control of their financial planning to the IMF and U.S. which have routinely abused that trust through rigging interest and exchange rates and commodity markets, their demands for monetary bloodletting and austerity for debtor countries. There would be less need for foreign government to finance budget shortfalls by selling off their key public infrastructure privatizing their economies. Instead of dismantling public spending, the AIIB and a broader Eurasian economic union would do what the United States itself practices, and seek self-sufficiency in basic needs such as food, technology, banking, credit creation and monetary policy.

In this U.S. centered worldview, China and Russia loom as the great potential adversaries, power centers independent financially and militarily from the United States. To underline this they created the Shanghai Cooperation Organization as an alternative to NATO, and the AIIB as an alternative to the IMF and World Bank tandem. The very name, Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, implies that transportation systems and other infrastructure will be financed by governments, not relinquished into private hands to become rent-extracting opportunities financed by U.S. centered bank credit and US domination of the region is thus diminished. With the same happening in Africa and South America and Europe increasingly moving against the global governance ambitions of EU leaders, it looks as if the USA rather than Russia or China will be economically isolated and left with few allies.
