Moscow Warns US In Diplomatic Letter: Arming Ukraine To Result In "Unpredictable Consequences"

Russia sent a formal diplomatic note to the US this week calling on Washington and NATO to stop arming Ukraine. The note, which was obtained by The Washington Post, said the Western campaign to pour weapons into Ukraine was “adding fuel” to the conflict and could lead to “unpredictable consequences.”

The diplomatic note was sent Tuesday, when news broke of a new massive US military aid package for Ukraine. President Biden announced the new aid on Wednesday, which is worth $800 million and includes howitzers for the first time. The package also includes helicopters, armed Switchblade drones, coastal defense drones, armored vehicles, radar systems, and thousands of Stinger and Javelin missiles.

The Russian note was sent to the State Department by the Russian Embassy in Washington. It said the US and its NATO allies were ignoring “rigorous principles” on the transfer of weapons into the conflict zone and said the Western powers are oblivious to “the threat of high-precision weapons falling into the hands of radical nationalists, extremists and bandit forces in Ukraine.”

The Russians accused NATO of pressuring Ukraine to “abandon” peace talks with Moscow “in order to continue the bloodshed.” The US and most of its NATO allies have shown little interest in supporting the negotiations between the warring sides. ‘Must never happen again’ Lockdown’s destructive impact on children’s confidence laid bare

BORIS JOHNSON has been warned lockdown "must never happen again" because of its impact on children. 

A new Ofsted report suggests the Government’s response to Covid could have a lasting, negative impact on Britain’s young, who were forced to spend long stretches of some of their most important formative years in social isolation. Yet the Prime Minister has refused to rule out repeating his policy of locking the country down, insisting “there could be a new variant, more deadly” – one that “affects children badly, that we really need to contain”.

Daily Sceptic Editor-in-Chief Toby Young warned this was a mistake given the evidence points to lockdowns doing far more harm than good.

He told Express.co.uk: “Politicians and their scientific advisors placed the entire country under house arrest in March 2020 without giving any thought to the long-term impact on the economy, mental health or children's development. Now we're reaping the whirlwind.

“Lockdowns must never happen again.”

Arabella Skinner, from children’s campaign group UsForThem, added the Government’s approach, and its refusal to rule out further lockdowns, demonstrates “children have never been at the front of the discussion of what the risk is and what the value is”.

She said: “The problems we are seeing now are evidence of that.”

These agencies and media echo chambers squandered many opportunities to inform the public on simple yet very effective messaging (vitamin D supplementation, obesity control, early treatment etc.) that could have reduced morbidity and saved lives. They continue to. Not just for Covid-19, but for many other illnesses.  

For example, obesity emerged as a potent super-loaded risk factor behind age in the harmful sequelae and a human target for SARS-CoV-2 in most studies, in addition to being elderly, frail and having comorbid conditions. Being younger with comorbid conditions also placed one at risk. 

We knew this data very early on, maybe one month post-March 2020 yet the CDC etc. failed to either read the data, understand the data, or act on the data. It would have behooved our agencies to have addressed these risks in large-scale education programs for the populace and especially by calling for a reduction in body weight and particularly for the minority sub-groups (African-Americans). 

In a similar light, studies showed that vitamin D supplementation for African-Americans has been associated with a lowered risk of severe disease and mortality from SARS-CoV-2. So the evidence was there; just the action by health agencies was absent. 

Early ambulatory outpatient treatment with successful combination and sequenced antiviral agents, corticosteroids, and anti-clotting therapeutics should be used (and should have been used) widely to help the people at risk. The African-American community is aware that “Covid (is) a killer for the obese: like pouring gasoline on top of a fire.” 

Unfortunately, more than two years into the pandemic, the manifest issue of public health education and sound policy decisions remain absent and aloof, given the erratic and confusing responses from the health and governing officials.

MSNBC Doubles Down On Fascist Mission Statements: It's Our Job To Control How People Think... Not Elon Musk's

It has been amusing to observe this week how utterly incensed the 'woke',  leftie hate mobs at Twitter were when they heard that Elon Musk, currently the richest man in the world's bid to buy Twitter, but for people who don't see the funny side of it, an old comment from the ultra left American news channel MSNBC is an important reminder of just how the lefties in the media media and their  globalist billionaire psychopath overlords see their role in modern society.

As hours of coverage and an avalanche of op-eds are unleashed to explain to the masses why they should grab their pitchforks as Elon Musk offers to buy a social media platform at a significant premium for shareholders, this brief exchange between MSNBC presenters from 2017 perfectly summarizes exactly what is wrong with modern socirty.

On MSNBC's breakfast show 'Morning Joe', Mika Brzezinski, referring to President Trump said the following words in her out-loud voice...

"The dangerous edges here are that he is trying to undermine the media, trying to make up his own facts, and it could be that while unemployment and the economy worsen, he could have undermined the messaging so much that he can actually control exactly what people think..."

And then the nail in the 'oops, I just told the truth coffin':

"...and that is our job."

To which the effervescent Joe Scarborough replies:

"Yeah".

And in case you thought that perhaps attitudes had changed in the intervening years and the propagandists at MSNBC had learned something from the hit their ratings have taken due to the utterly biased and distorted coverage on the COVID pandemic and decided gaslighting the public does not win them friends, viewers or advertising revenue, on Friday's 'Morning Joe', Brezinski repeated her delusional claim about the need to control information when raising alarm over how Musk's possible takeover of Twitter might affect the grip of the far left propaganda machine's grip on on social media and thus their ability to shape public opinion, calling a hypothetical Elon Musk takeover a "very dangerous precedent" for America.

"...are there any ways to stop him if he wants to buy Twitter? Are there any guardrails around something like this? Because this could be a very dangerous precedent,"

"He does not believe in the consequences of words," added Brezinki's guest, who had written earlier that "Elon Musk’s attempt to buy Twitter represents a chilling new threat: billionaire trolls taking over social media."

Somewhat bizarrely these people had nothing to say when Amazon founder and far left, 'woke' billionaire psychopaths Jeff Bezon took over The Washington Post, or when former world's richest man Bill Gates acquires controlling interests in numerous influential print and TV news companies. The problem for MSNBC is of course that while the 'woke' left are intent on controlling not only what people say but what they think, Elon Musk, whatever else we might think of him (and I'm not a fan,) is a determined defender of free speech, even if it means allowing people he disagrees with a platform on a site he owns. Other billionaire psychopaths, Twitter's founder Jack Dorsey, Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook and Amazon's Jeff Bezos being the most notable examples as all have been driving forces in the hounding of conservative and libertarian voices from their platforms.

Empirical observations show no sign of ‘climate crisis’

A systematic review of climate trends and observational data by an eminent climate scientist has found no evidence to support the claim of a climate crisis.

In his annual State of the Climate report, Ole Humlum, emeritus professor at the University of Oslo, examined detailed patterns in temperature changes in the atmosphere and oceans together with trends in climate impacts. Many of these show no significant trends and suggest that poorly understood natural cycles are involved.

And while the report finds gentle warming, there is no evidence of dramatic changes, with snow cover stable, sea ice levels recovering, and no change in storm activity.

Professor Humlum said:

“A year ago, I warned that there was great risk in using computer modelling and immature science to make extraordinary claims. The empirical observations I have reviewed show very gentle warming and no evidence of a climate crisis.”

GWPF director, Dr Benny Peiser said:

“It’s extraordinary that anyone should think there is a climate crisis. Year after year our annual assessment of climate trends document just how little has been changing in the last 30 years. The habitual climate alarmism is mainly driven by scientists’ computer modelling rather than observational evidence.”

Since the publications of the latest IPCC Climate Change report early this month, and last week the release of some significant sections of the government's new energy security strategy the parts that have received most media attention are Boris Johnson's revelation the the UK is to have six or seven nuclear power stations under development by 2050, more drilling for oil and gas in the North Sea, and the much-lauded , but in practical terms unachievable goal of engineering a fivefold increase in offshore wind power.

The Johnson government's energy strategy was always going to offer a solution that was a mix of different technologies, and though I am often called anti - wind (this is untrue, I love a fart joke as much as the next person,) anti - science and a climate denier actually I see no problem with generating electricity from wind energy. The problem I have with wind fanatics and the groups currently demanding we stop all uses of all fossil fuels immediately and flatly refuse to  discuss the notion that there might be some drawbacks to making the nation totally dependent on wind power, just as there are drawbacks with fossil fuels generation plants.

The building of new coal or gas fired plants, or of recommissioning coal plants as the government has been forced to do recently may be anathema to the green blob and the government's own 'net zero' lobby but the cult of the Climate Science Green Giant need to accept that we can't just turn off existing and immediately transition to renewables like wind and solar. Nuclear, the only truly reliable, sustainable, CO2 emission free method of generating is also anathema to the green blob, who just don't understand nuclear processes and believe the horror stories about radiation they have seen on TV or read in novels.

The government's bias towards offshore wind is an example of the how government try to shape narratives that keep everybody happy all the time, by courting popularity with unrealistic promises rather than facing reality. The problem nobody talks about with wind is that the turbines cannot generate effectively if the wind is too light or too strong. The range withing which wind turbines operate efficiently is surprisingly narrow, between approximately 12.5 mph minimum and 28 mph maximum. Below that there is not enough energy in the wind to turn the turbine sufficiently quickly, above that and the vanes on the rotor have to be 'feathered' (flattened,) otherwise the machine will be damaged by the stress. But the industry, the government and the clever boys and girls who 'do the science' with their mathematical models of reality do not like to talk about those little problems, they prefer us to think politicians are so powerful and scientists so clever they can make the wind blow at a steady 20 mph for 24 hours a day, 365 days per year.

The main problem caused by the inability of 'sustainables' to sustain electricity production at the levels necessary to support the baseload needed to the the nation running is illustrated in the industry's own figures. Currently the nation has a potential generation capacity of around 75 gigawatts. Baseload consumption is around 30 Gigawatts consistently through summer and winter.

The UK already has 80 gigawatts of offshore wind in the development pipeline. The energy strategy outlines the aspiration to produce up to 50 gigawatts through offshore wind farms. Given the potential 77Gwatts (all sources) we already have, it would seem there was little need for a new energy strategy. but the keyword is 'potential.' Sustainables such as wind and solar are usually generating only 2 or 3% of their potential output over a long period say several weeks and rarely exceed 10% of potential.

The bulk of the population of the UK lives in England. Whilst Boris Johnson has praised solar power for being cheap and effective, it overlooks the obvious point that England has a reputation for being cloudy and wet, thus solar power ia a non starter. However England does have quite a lot of wind, but the problem there is nobody has yet come up either a way to control that wind and make it flow ata a consistent speed. Just as too little or too much wind is a problem for wind farm operators, so gusty days can cause havoc with machines designed to run as a constant speed for long periods.

In the winter of 2021 /22, had fossil fuels, in this case natural gas, been abandoned in line with the wishes of econuts like Extinction Rebellion, thousands of people would have died of hypothermia. A common weather pattern in British winters, due to the presence of a holding high pressure area over the North Atlantic, causes periods of bright, sunny, bitterly cold and almost windless days. And with no cloud cover to hold in radiant heat from the earths surface, night time temperatures drop way below freezing point.

"But ... but ... but," the ecozealots will say, "you said bright sunny days so there is solar power when there is no wind." 

Nice try, but unfortunately another problem with sustainables the mathematical modellers did not think through when "Doing The Science" is that in latitudes greater than 45 degrees north or south, the sun only reaches high enough elevations for solar panels to work for a very short time every day.

These things are among the reasons why in the 21 / 22 winter the UK had to bring mothballed coal fuelled generating plants back online and exteny yet again the life of ageing nuclear plants.

The sad truth is "The Science" behind most of the green thinking and net zero nonsense is only the science of wishful thinking. Far too much of the energy policies of developed nations are based on engineering solutions that worked well so long as they were only equations in notebooks or computer programmes, they were adopted as policy before they had ever been tested in real life. So when we get down to basics, modern societies are still dependent on oil and gas. The only realistic alternative at this point is nuclear, and because the econuts hate nuclear almost as much as they hate oil and gas, the building of new nuclear plants and improvement of technologies was abandoned in the 1990s.

New UN Report on Climate Change – Nothing New, Nothing True

The latest United Nations (“UN”) Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (“IPCC”) report, published this week, once again, in scaremongering tone and the language of the panic stricken, claims that the planet is in peril (we are facing climate disaster, the clock is at one minute to midnight,  we must take urgent action to destroy civilisation if we are to save the planet, the usual over - dramatised guff designed to spread fear and panic,) basically the same claim as they have been making at least twice a month for the past 20 years.  

As usual the publication was greeted by calls from weirdie beardie, tree hugging types for harsher government measures, even lockdowns similar to those that not only failed to stop the spread of COVID but contributed to current food shortages and the energy crisis that is driving millions of families into poverty. As a weapon to tackle the so-called climate emergency due to increasing carbon dioxide (“CO2”) and global warming, lockdowns can only be less effective and more damaging than they were against the hoax pandemic. 

 However the bulk of unbiased scientific evidence, little oif which is reported by mainstream media, shows that current climate instability are not due to CO2, very little of which is emitted as a result of human activity anyway, and there is no climate emergency. On the contrary, thanks to CO2, the Earth’s greening gas, the planet is healthier than ever while in the past 25 years, according to real world data rather than that obtained from mathematical models, has actually cooled very slightly since peaking in 1998.

So far this year the IPCC has published the first two instalments in a trilogy of mammoth scientific assessments (not good for the reforestation projects going on around the world and have these pseudo - scientific clowns any idea how much energy is consumed by every web searc?) puroprting to explain how greenhouse gas emissions are heating the planet and what that means for life on Earth. Released on 4 April the third and final installment, ‘Mitigation of Climate Change’offers suggestions about what can be done to mitigate these effects. Consisting of 2800 pages it is by far the most comprehensive assessment ever produced of how not to halt global heating.
