Green Hypocrites To Destroy Thousands Of Acres Of Brazilian Rain Forest To Facilitate A Taxpayer Funded Jolly For Virtue Signallers

 

 For decades the Green Blob have been rnying about the importance of the Anazonian rainforest in Brazil, how it is is one of the most important ecosystems on Earth and why preserving it is vital to their fight to 'save the planet.. The rain forest absorbs carbon dioxide, supports countless species, and helps regulate the planet’s climate we were told over and over ad nauseam.  

How strange then that in the past few days we have learned of a plan to destroy a large section of it dense rainforest vegitation to make way for a new COP30 highway that will enable the most rare and expensive foods, fine wines, expensive liquers, world class entertainers, tevevision crews and journalists, Michelin starred chefs, personal trainers, health gurus, expensive prostitutes and every imaginable luxury t.o the remote Brazilian city of Belem

The road is being built to improve access to Belém, the venue chosen to host the COP30 climate summit which will take place in November 2025.

More than 50,000 people, including putative world leaders like Keir Starmer, fear and panic grifters like Greta Thunberg, fake science hustlers, and political charlatans are expected to fly into Brazl on private jets and be ferried to the conference in chauffeur driven limousines, treatment to which all are certain they are entitled as they are in the vanguard of the fight to save the planet. 

However some of the more serious and sceptical environmentalists are questioning whether destroying part of the rainforest to make way for a  five day climate conference makes any sense at all. The project has already cleared over 13 kilometers of forest. Heavy machinery is tearing through protected land, removing trees and flattening the terrain. 

 is due to take place in Belem in November and the state government is constructing the new road to ease traffic to the city, which will host more than 50,000 visitors.

Now, we’re well used to the hypocrisy of delegates flying to these annual international jamboree of virtue-signalling, greenwashing and empty talk, generating untold tons of the same carbon dioxide they say is killing the planet. It’s what we sceptics expect from such arrogant, entitled liars.

But how can such seasoned freeloading scumbgs be happy with the deliberate destruction of the Amazon rainforest – that gigantic swathe of pristine nature that holds a hallowed place in climate zealotry because it saves us all from frying as the global avearge temperature soars by a few hundreds of a degree per decade? How can such contempt for The Science be justified?

Quite easily, apparently. Adler Silveira, the state government’s infrastructure secretary, describes the highway as ‘sustainable’. So there. End of Story. My gas boiler that heats my home and provides hot water is not sustainable, nor are my brothers Range Rover or my Hot Hatch. The beef most of us eat and the milk we drink are not sustainable. But a road that will be used for five days is.

The highway is bad news for local farmers, who used to harvest fruit from the trees that are no longer there. Wildlife there is a loser too, with habitats ruined and the road forming a barrier across the jungle.  But the importance of these conferences, which have achieved absolutely nothing in thirty years other than giving a bunch of jumped up nobodies a chance to pretend they are as important as they like to believe they are

As for Belem itself, the city is busy throwing up hotels, expanding the airport and building berths for cruise liners which will help accommodate the influx of climate boondogglers. However, the COP30 delegates may be in for an eye-opener when they get there. According to the AP news agency, ‘they won’t find idyllic images of rainforest, like lush vegetation and clean rivers. In Belem, impoverished, crime-ridden and filled with inequalities, most of the 2.5million residents live in slums. What’s more, only two per cent of the city’s sewage gets treated . . .’

That must be good news for the 50,000 delegates, they'll feel right at home in Belem because like the city they are all full of shit.

German Populist Party's Legal Challenge To Election Result Could Block Globalist Coalitions Path To Power

Germany's radical, left-of-centre, populist party the Sahra Wagenknecht Alliance (BSW), which in last month's election narrowly missed gaining enough votes to be allocated seats in the Bundestag, filed a complaint on Monday (10 Feb) with the constitutional court, legally challenging the results of the national election, a spokesperson said.

The leftist populist BSW, which was only created in 2024 after its eponymous leader quite the more conventionally left Linke party over its support for German support for Ukraine and direct involvement in the conflict. BSW which is also Eurosceptic and supports immigration controls scored 4.97% in last month's election, lacking just 13,400 votes to enter parliament in a country where around 60 million people are eligible to cast a ballot.

Suspicions of voting and vote counting irregularities were raised in the days immediately following announcement of the election result which gave the two main globalist parties CDU- CSU and the SDP enough seats in the assembly to form a coalition, freezing out Germany's second largest Party, the Eurosceptic populist group Alternatif fur Deutschand (AfD). If BSW had attracted enough voted to enter the Bundestag, the CDU / SDP coalition would not have enough seats to form a ruling coalition.

The only option open to the globalists then would have been to bring the far left Greens into a three pary coalition. However the recently ousted SDP/Liberal/Green coalition was torn apart by The Greens insistence on extremist policies that resulted in electricity rationing and rocketing proces for domestic fuel.

"Several thousand BSW votes have apparently been incorrectly allocated to other parties or deemed invalid," the party leader Sahra Wagenknecht was quoted as saying by news organisation the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ). Respect for the voters demanded that "possible errors be scrutinised and corrected", she was cited as saying.

Green Power Has Failed Miserably - Why Are Western Governments And Academics Still Pushing It?

 For t,he past twenty years at least governments have been throwing so much money at green power policies that businesses and financiers  have has to play the game.

In spite of this puch and all the propaganda about the science being settled (although it wasn't) by 2023 we found ourselves with EV sales shrinking, and inventories at dealers at astronomical levels so much so that fields are being rented to store the excess.

And the disenchantment with 'The Green New Deal' did not stop there. In January this year  Orsted, the Danish wind farm ‘pioneer’ reported that its stock market valuation had fallen which has fallen some 76 per cent since its peak in 2021 and the company was imposing a total halt to investment in new offshore wid farm projects. Or Albemarle group – a lithium producer and supplier of raw materials to EV battery makers – down over 80 per cent in the same time span. Global car and goods vehicle rental company Hertz replaced its entire fleet with EVs and is now facing Chapter 11 bankruptcy?. And what about oil and gas giants Shell and BP,both of which only a few years ago ere claiing bragging rights about how much they were investing in green power as they began divest oil and gas assets in preparation for Net Zero. Shell was practically forced to sell now far more valuable proven finds in the Permian Basin to ConocoPhillips for a song just under three years ago.

All of this is OUR money (yes yours and mine because the costs go right onto what we pay for fuel and electricity,) and it is being channelled into dead-end investments and will certainly have an impact via lower pension payouts in years to come, creating future economic problems for the developed nations.

Yet our government and attendant bodies such the Pension Regulator (UK, substitute whatever organisation fulfills this role in your country,) – are still urging our pension funds to throw good money after bad by investing in technologies that simply do not work. Indeed, all over the northern hemisphere non-compliance with green policies will can result in significant penalties.

Not only are we directly subsidising renewables and EVs, driving up transport and energy costs all in pursuit of the unattainablr, but we are also losing our prosperity in terrible investments.

The number one problem with almost every discussion of "green" technology and greenhouse gases is the failure to challenge the falsehood that "carbon is a pollutant". Should we achieve true Net Zero the consequences for life on earth would disastrous. Far from being a polluting gas, CO2 is essential to the continuation of life on this planet. And on that point the science really is settled.

The CO2 pollution lie has been repeated so often that nobody notices that it is untrue. CO2 is plant food, and an increase from the present 0.04% even as high as 0.1% would enormously benefit food production. While CO2 does have some greenhouse gas effect, it's influence has passed the peak, and any increase from today's levels will have a negligible additional effect. Given that the planet is still in the mini ice age, and colder than the Medieval Warm Period and Roman times, a bit more heat would be nice.

By far the biggest greenhouse effect comes from water vapour. As primary school children used to be taught, a clear sky at night means that frost is likely while a cloudy sky at night means that frost is less likely, unless brought by a cold wind. Which is why night frost can occur in Britain in May, and also in the Sahara Desert.

From a simple engineering viewpoint, hydrocarbon fuels are by far the most appropriate sources of energy for most of the needs of our technology. For example, methane is the ideal form of hydrogen for many heating applications. Liquid hydrocarbons are the fuel most suited for mobile applications such as personal and freight transport - cars and lorries.

Electricity is well suited to trains, given the fixed track and overhead cable or third rail systems. But North Sea gas (or fracking the gas under Lincolnshire) as the main source of electricity would substantially cut the costs to the railways, homes and industry if properly priced instead of the present distortions.

But while China, India, Indonesia, Philippines and other emerging economies forge ahead with new industrial developments fuelled by gas, oil and coal our governments, influenced by intellectual idiots who have spent all their working lives faffing about in universities and have net zero experience of real business or real life are pushing us along a path of deindustrialisation, destroying national economies, jobs and prosperity.

Islamic Fundamentalist Government In Syria Attacks Minorities - We Told You This Would Happen

 

When the Syrian government of basar Al Assad fell in late 2024, after militant forces backed by certain western powers launched a surprise offensive and took control over Damascus in a matter of days the Syrian military, which under Assad's Alawite Muslim regime, had protected Christian, Jewish, Yazidi, Druze and Kurdish minorities, collapsed and has been replaced by new security forces composed of assorted Islamic fundamentalist former jihadist groups.

The situation in coastal Syria deteriorated last week with clashes between the new security forces and local militias, described in Western media as loyalists of former President Bashar Assad, reported. The violence has been centered in areas populated by Alawites, an ethnoreligious group the former president belongs to. While commonly described as an Islamic sect, Alawites are regarded negatively by hardline Islamists, who believe them to be apostates subject to extermination. 

Numerous extremely graphic videos circulating online purport to show Islamist militants with the new security forces torturing and executing civilians, including women and children, in broad daylight. At least 1,300 people, including more than 800 civilians, have been reportedly killed in the cities of Latakia and Tartus over the past three days. Syria’s de-facto leader and former head of the jihadist force HTS Ahmed al-Sharaa has condemned the violence and promised to hold those harming civilians accountable. 

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has denounced “radical Islamist terrorists, including foreign jihadis” for massacring members of Syrian minority groups, including Christians, Druze, Alawites and Kurds.
