Nigel Farage Swipes Back At Irrational, Screeching, Crazy Clinton

US Democratic Party presidential candidate Hillary Clinton launched a hysterical, irrational attack, filled with half truths and blatant lies, against the most prominent figure in the campaign to get Britain out of the EU (Brexit), UK Independence Party leader Nigel Farage, during a speech at a rally today. Mrs Clinton, responding to Farage's address to a large and enthusiastic audience at a Donald Trump rally, may have been rattled at the prospect of having such a hihly effective campaigner in the rival camp, a man so eloquent, comparisons expose the "soaring rhetoric" of Barack Hussein Obama for the banal, platitudeinous drivel it has always been.

Mrs. Clinton ranted at some length about the outgoing UKIP leader who appeared at a rally for her political rival as well as slamming Trump for having Farage appear on stage to talk about the Brexit vote. Ignorant, ill-informed and egomaniacal as usual, Hysterucal Hillary even suggested the UKIP leader of being in bed with Russian president Vladimir Putin, solely because Farage once appeared on a Russia Today television broadcasts. He has expressed admiration for Vladimir Putin's leadership qualities, but has never endorsed the Russian leader's politics.

"Just yesterday, one of Britain’s most prominent right-wing leaders, a man named Nigel Farage, who stoked anti-immigrant sentiments to win the referendum to have Britain leave the European Union, campaigned with Donald Trump in Mississippi," Clinton said, completely inaccurately. nigel Farage is far more liberal than Hillary Clinton or barack Obama, in fact Farage actually understands that liberalism is a rejection of most of what the war - loving, crony - capitalism supporting US Democratic Party stand for.

"Farage has called for a ban on the children of legal immigrants from public schools and health services, has said women are quote “worth less” than men, and supports scrapping laws that prevent employers from discriminating based on race — that’s who Trump wants by his side.The godfather of this global brand of extreme nationalism is Russian President Vladimir Putin," Clinton outrageously claimed.

Mr. Farage has told Breitbart London exclusively: "I think Hillary Clinton is running scared. Her attacks on me are completely baseless. She sounds rather like the bad losers in Britain who can’t accept Brexit and keep trying to launch legal challenges to overturn the democratic vote. He added: “Perhaps Mrs. Clinton should spend more time speaking to normal, working people in her country than trying to attack me using dodgy half-quotes".

Far from suggesting that the children of legal immigrants be banned from public schools, Nigel Farage made the prefectly reasonable suggestion that people who have not paid in to the UK tax system should not be the beneficiaries of public money until they have begun to contribute. His comments, taken wildly out of context by Mrs. Clinton, also included the idea of having private insurance to use Britain’s public services – a common thing in the United States.

He has also previously acknowledged that women who take maternity leave are perceived by employers to be "worth less" than men, but has never said whether or not he believes that is fair. He also supports scrapping EU discrimination law, but has stood by the fact that the British parliament could easily enact these laws, if necessary, themselves.

Her comments linking Mr. Farage and Mr. Trump to Vladimir Putin were reported on by Breitbart London recently. It was a “Project Fear” tactic used by the ‘Remain’ campaign during the European Union referendum which Mrs. Clinton and Mr. Obama’s side lost, with a big swing in favour of LEAVE occurring after Barack Obama visited Britain and threatened British voters with reprisals if the vote did not go the way The White house wished.

Mr. Farage has never claimed to be a member of the “alt right” as Clinton accused him of being, in fact he has actively distanced himself from many public figures who are perceived as such. His party, UKIP, which is 23 years old, has consistently stood by the position that left and right are now useless monikers in politics, and that the battle is now about the corporatists and globalists versus average people.

Little Englanders Jibe Lost The Debate And Probably The Referendum For Camereon

In spite of the crude and bungled attempt to rig last night TV debate, with ITV placing race-baiting plants in the audience whose task was to shout down Nigel Farage with idiotic accusations, and appointing a weak moderator who allowed REMAIN supporters in the audience to talk over Farage but was quick to cut off the several audience members whose questions had Cameron waffling, the UKIP leader was judged the winner.

The main thing we learned from the debate is that the establishment will try to rig the referendum. 150% of people elegible to vote by post actually casting votes perhaps?

It was easy to pinpoint the moment Cameron lost the debate and his job too in all probability. it was when he referred to LEAVE supporters as "Little Englanders". Not only did he antagonise a lot of undecideds, he showed one again how far out of touch with the public mood he is. And by using the term Little Englanders in entirely the wrong context (as lefties have for years) he showed he's a lazy bastard who can't be arsed doing his research.

William Gladstone, supported free trade, individual liberty, home rule for Ireland, opposed colonial wars, big government. He was a Little Englander.

The "Little England" movement originated among manufacturers in Manchester and found support among journalists such as Goldwin Smith and politicians like William Gladstone, one of the founders of the UK Liberal Party. The movement objected to the protectionist stance of Canada exemplified by the tariff increase of 1859. The manufacturers resented paying taxes to defend a colony that took few British goods when Canada could be absorbed by the United States, which was an independent country and Britain's best customer outside Europe. Canada had some importance as a supplier of wheat and timber to Britain, but its climate and northerly location meant that it had no significance for Manchester's cotton industry.

There was also a social element to the movement. The Manchester School resented the Empire for providing sinecures for the sons of the aristocracy when the same money could be used for tax breaks and public spending projects at home.

The Little England stance was adopted by the Liberal Party and embraced by its rising star Gladstone (1809-1898), a social reformer who opposed many of Britain's military adventures in the second half of the 19th century and was particularly incensed by the behaviour of Britain's colonial administrations towards naitive populations. Gladstone, though devoutly religious, did not accept the need to impose British religious and cultural traditions on people in the colonies.

The Little Englander movemement is particularly associated with opposition to the Second Boer War (1899–1902). For example, Arthur Ponsonby wrote of the Liberal leader Sir Henry Campbell-Bannerman's opposition to the Boer War: "The impression one got of him from the Press in those days was… that he was an unpatriotic Little Englander"

In a nutshell then, Little Englanders were opposed to political or cultural colonialism and therefore were true believers in diversity.

In other words, the Little Englander movement was a left-of-centre, "progressive" movement of its day.

The Anger Of The Masses Is Rising

Disenchantment with the status quo and disgust with the corrupt elites, corporate cronyism and politically correct authoritarianism has not only triggered a surge of anti establishment, anti - globalist anger across Europe, as has been demonstrated (and further fuelled by) the establishment stitch ups and election rigging that have kept Front National in France, The Danish People's Party, UKIP in Britain, Germany's AFD, The Sweden Democrats and most recently the Austrian Freedom Party rightful and well earned success in elections, and kept anti EU-federalisation politicians chosen by the people from fulfilling the roles they were elected to. The same broad-based anger has fuelled the populist campaigns of Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump in the campaigns for the Democratic and Republican Party nominations in the U.S. Presidential Election.

Globally, the people disenfranchised by the status quo, in Peggy Noonan's phrase, the unprotected, people like myself for example, for many years a supporter of the UK's Liberal Party (when it knew what 'liberal' meant), I have always lived in either safe Conservative or Labour constituencies so under our first-past-the-post election system my vote has never been likely to elect a candidate I wanted to represent me. I now vote for UKIP, it is more a protest vote than from political conviction and also write blogs and contribute to online news and opinion sites. Others, in Britain, throughout Europe and in the USA, Canada and Aistralia are starting to express their discontent in the streets, in social media and in elections.

Why are the disenfranchised people around the world getting so angry. And why are there so many more of them that suspected? It's obvious to everyone in the unprivileged classes and a mystery to the "we're doing just fine here, what's your problem?" privileged classes: The system is rigged to benefit the elite few, say 5% of people (not necessarily based on earnings or personal wealth), and marginalize the many. For a long time people thought that was the way things were, unlike myself, many were happy to vote left or right on the basis of who they thought was the least bad. In recent years however, the few have become so blatant in their abuse of privilege and the gap between rich and poor has widened so much, hollowing out the middle income groups, the administrative and skilled worker groups, that something had to give.

The two structural engines of disorder at the heart of the system according to Charles Hugh Smith in his book Why Our Status Quo Failed and Is Beyond Reform, are:

Automation, software and the forces of globalization are disrupting jobs and wages everywhere.

Centralized hierarchies and the forces of globalisation have extended the power of privilege globally so the few are benefiting at the expense of the many.

The growing concentration of wealth and power in the privileged elites is evidenced by the fact that 8% of the world's populace owns 85% of its wealth. What is driving this increasing concentration of wealth and power?

To understand growing disparity between rich and poor and the increasing concentration of wealth in the hands of the old elites and corporate powers we must first understand the dual nature of privilege. Just as there is hard power (military power) and soft power (exporting cultural wares and values) so there is hard and soft privilege. hard privilege is exercised by authoitarian governments that criminalise free speech and dissent and operate oppressive surveillance and policing policies.

Soft privilege operates by utilising the tyranny of weakness. "Oh but how can you not be moved by a picture of a beaten puppy on Facebook?" How can you be indifferent to a picture of a starving African child in a television charity appeal. How can you not support the right of big, hairy arsed blokes in frocks to go into the same toilet as little girls are using. What a cruel, heartless, brutal, racist, sexist, homophobic person you are. Do you recognise the technique?

Yes, perfectly rational and acceptable reactions are branded extreme because they do not conform to what the elites have decreed you ought to think And few people are eager to stand aside from the crowd and exercise their right to be individuals. No, you do not have to care about abused puppies or starving children (there's probably nothing you can do about it, there will always be some people who abuse animals and we have been throwing money at Africa for fifty years but nothing has changed. As for the blokes in frocks, sorry guys it does not matter what you 'identify' as, or if you have your dick and balls cut off, if you never had a womb and ovaries you cannot possibly be a woman. If you can't get your head round that, you're very sick.

Privilege serves exactly the same purpose as power, benefiting the few at the expense of the many regardless of the system's ideological labels. Socialist, Communist and free-market capitalist regimes all throw up oligarchical elites that loot the system and plunder the national assets that should benefit the populaces. Those who came to do good and stayed to do well as the saying goes, must first gather privileges before they can acquire wealth and power.

The grievances of Chinese workers robbed of their wages, Greek small-business owners burdened by ever-rising taxes and EU imposed austerity measures, downsized corporate warriors in the U.S.A and redundant industrial workers in Britain and France may appear to be different, but in reality their grievances all arise from one source: unearned privileges that benefit the few at the expense of the many.

Merkel Braced For Disaster As Polls Conflict On Election Prospects

The results of Sunday's regional elections in Germany may become a disaster for Chancellor Angela Merkel, according to the German news network Deutsche Welle.

Regional elections in Germany are more unpredictable than ever before, and they could have a big impact on the fate of Chancellor Angela Merkel and her party, the Christian Democratic Union, Deutsche Welle reported, according to opinion polls ahead of Sunday's regional elections in the country.

Also, the state legislature elections of Baden-Wuerttemberg, Rhineland-Palatinate and Saxony-Anhalt may affect the balance of power in the federal government, German political commentators predict. Merkel heads a fragile coalition dependent on the support of several smaller parties. If the Chancellor becomes a liability these may desert the government leaking Merkel vulnerable to a 'no confidence' vote.

When asked how she was preparing for the Sunday elections, Merkel, in turn, admitted that she "will have to keep her fingers crossed."

Deutsche Welle reported that the Sunday elections could see the ever-increasing popularity ratings of the right-wing German party Alternative for Germany (AfD), which finished third in municipal elections in the country's central state of Hesse on March 6 propelled to power in state legislatures. It is unlikely Germany would see a 'grand coalition' of socialist and conservative such as was cooked up inin France's regional election to keep the anti - immigarant, anti - EU party Front National, which won the popular vote, out of power.

The stitch up has in fact increased the popularity of Front National and pushed France closer to civil unrest.

David Cameron denies migrant crisis is a 'giant David Icke conspiracy' to keep us in the EU.

As Labour MP Kate Hoey, Conservative Liam Fox, Former SNP Deputy Leader Jim Sillars, several current cabinet ministers and a host of businessmen exposed the lies and empty threats behind the "Remain campaign's scaremongering David Cameron today denied launching a "giant David Icke-style conspiracy" to convince voters to stay in the EU.

The Prime Minister's bordering - on - irrational defence of the scaremongering came as French President Francois Hollande warned of "consequences" if the UK decides to quit the 28-nation bloc at June's referendum. (Whatever consquences the French president thinks may be in store for Britain, they cannot be as bad as the consequences of the Hollande's Presidency have been for France

French economy minister Emmanuel Macron earlier suggested Britain quitting the EU could lead to Paris ripping up a 2003 deal which allows UK border guards to be stationed in Calais.

Thousands of migrants live in makeshift camps near the French port before trying to reach the UK.

But Mr Macron said of possible Brexit : "The day this relationship unravels, migrants will no longer be in Calais."

Asked if No 10 was trying to stitch-up the referendum with doomsday warnings from foreign governments and big business, Mr Cameron insisted: “When you have ministers in other governments warning about potential consequences that might happen, that would be injurious to the UK - I would say listen to those things."

Cameron is of course desperate to kerp us in the EU, he is a committed supporter of global government and the EU bureaucracy's dream of creating a Federal European Superstate is a big step towards fulfillment of that goal. So is Cameron playing for the New World Order or is it just another conspiracy theory. here's David Icke with the answer (scroll past the embed for my thoughts):

It can surely be taken as a sign that Cameron and his supporters sense they are losing the argument, that a "Remain" vote is not the foregone conclusion the Europhiles believed it would be when they granted us a referendum as a ploy to kill off UKIP. Since then the migrant crisis, the EU ruling bureaucracy's blind devotion to the warmongers of Washington as they push for war with Russia, and the continuing assaults on democracy and free speech by European national leaders, primarily Merkel and Hollande, combined with the ongoing economic crisis (coming soon to a nation near you if you happen to live in Italy) has made even more people that the EU’s project is part of a plan to create a meritocratic global government (The New World Order?) and UKIP are scoring even higher in opinion polls.

 David Icke lambasts the Prime Minister's desperate attempts to score cheap points by sneering at Icke's eccentricity and replies with his version of what the EU amounts to. We’re pressing a nerve, Icke says with absolute accuracy. The Establishment are panicking as from Greece and Slovakia to Ireland people are turning against the bureaucratic dictatorship that has grown like a tumor in Brussels. Is there a conspiracy to end democracy and create a tyrannical global government?

People who suggest that say 'join up the dots', a phrase the sneerers have taken to ridiculing.

I say there is no need to join up the dots, if you've at least half a brain the big picture should be STARING YOU IN THE FUCKING FACE.

Cameron's EU Deal As Worthless As Neville Chamberlain's 'Peace In Our Time.'?

Opinion polls show Britain is evenly divided on the question of whether to leave or remain in the EU, though it has been suggested up to 10 million other voters, many of them women, have yet to make a decision. How they cast their vote will shape the future of the world’s fifth largest economy and the EU itself.Should we regard polls as a reliable pointer after last years General Election and the Scottish Referendum?

Fears over privacy, raise by internet hacking and activist sites such as Wikileaks and general mistrust of the media have made many people reluctant to take part in polls, one polling organisation I read of had to call 22,000 people in order to select a representative panel of 2000 for a telephone poll.

The current situation in the EU polling as David Cameron desperately tries today to win concessions that will make staying in the EU acceptable to supporters of the Conservative Party he leads is that Britain has long received a “poor man’s offering” from what she views as a German and French-dominated bloc. Some even blames the unrealistic EU’s emissions rules for forcing the beloved Land Rover Defender 4×4 out of production.

Cameron’s plans to appease sceptical voters by cutting the benefits paid to EU migrants appealed to undecided voters  but looks to be a non starter among EU leaders who must approve the deal. European Parliment President Martin Schulz, who last year said that public opinion does not matter and EU bureaucrats will do as they please regardless of any votes, has stated that any deal offered to Cameron today cannot be legally binding.

Fair warning it seems that the EU will stab us in the back should we vote to leave.

The 'Leave' campaigns are not faring any better. Talk less about immigration and give more detail on whether Britain would be better or worse off outside the EU, many people in areas not much affected by mass immigration are saying.

Around one in five British voters tell pollsters they have yet to make up their minds. Many are middle-aged women who support Cameron’s Conservatives and live outside London and Scotland, two of Britain’s most pro-European areas.

If Cameron is to keep Britain in the bloc it joined in 1973, he will need to secure the vote of millions of people in rural areas and the old industrial towns of the north and midlands.

The game changer, should voters wake up to it, is that as UKIP leader Nigel Farage revealed, whatever deal Cameron wins over the next few days will be a fraud. The Prime Minister will present it to the nation as a done deal before the actual vote and should we vote to leave it will be binding on us.

Any changes to the terms of our membership however must be approved by the European Parliament and MEPs will certainly veto it, as the Parliament itself and its voting system (Qualified Majority) are heavily biased in favour of those nations that support ever greater integration until member states no longer exist as sovereign nations but only as administrative regions in a Federal European Superstate.

The rest of Europe is watching warily – Britain is the EU’s second largest economy, one of only to net contributors to EU funds, and one of its top two military powers.

"Our Europe Is Dying": Young Germans Video Blasts Merkel's "Multicultural Utopia": Censored By Facebook.

A still from the German video embedded below in which young Germans complain about the destruction of their nation in the name of multiculturalism. This make a lie of those propaganda claims that only the older generations oppose mass immigration.

Earlier this week, broadcast news bulletins and newspaper reports all over Europe (and in the USA and around the world) featured riots that took place in Heesch, a small town in The Netherlands where where 1,000 Dutch protesters took to the streets to demonstrate their extreme displeasure at the town’s decision to settle some 500 refugees. While mainstream media reporting was cursory, it would have been unlikely just a few months ago that the story would have been reported at all.

In the aftermath of the riot, a big deal was made of the fact that far-right Dutch politician Geert Wilders (who is set to go on trial in March for 'hate speech' after he promised to rid the Netherlands of “Moroccans”) released statement from his Freedom Party, which like other anti immigration, anti - EU parties in northern Europe is surging in opinion polls. In the clip, Wilders says male Mid-East refugees are “Islamic testosterone bombs” and European women face a sexual jihad.

Influence by reports of many outrages and organised sex crimes committed by male Muslim migrants and leaked reports showing that European governments have ordered police to ignore the crimes of migrants to avoid creating racial tensions that have emerged in the wake of the Paris shootings EU citizens have come to associate refugees with violent and sex related crime. There have even been reports that have resulted in arrests, of the gang rape of infants by immigrant males. People throughout Europe are so frightened of the swaggering, aggressive immigrants who strut through the streets of EU cities, sure they are above the law, that pepper spray and gun sales are soaring as Europeans arm themselves against what they increasingly view as a hostile foreign invasion and an usurpation of Christian values.

All of this has served to boost the popularity of far-right groups like PEGIDA in Germany and the “Soldiers of Odin” in Finland, where vigilante justice has arrived in the form of roving patrols of young men donning black bomber jackets with Viking helmets stitched on the back. The left and the traditional political parties collaborated to suppress democratic organisations such as UKIP in Britain and FN in France, by using propaganda and electoral fraud. As this blog and many others predicted, this assault on democracy and free speech has resulted in the emergence of some really nasty neo - Fascist and neo - Nazi groups. Like The Roman I seem to see the Rivers Rhine, Elbe, Seine, Thames and Somme flowing with much blood.

It’s against this rather disturbing backdrop that we bring you a video from the "Identitarian Movement" in Germany. As you’ll see, some German youths are prepared to stage an open revolt against policies and politicians they believe are “sacrificing German values and traditions." We feel it is important to spead this as widely as possible because it has been censored by Facebook, the social Media network founded by the Jewboy Quisling Mark Zuckerberg.

For the record, Vidkun Quisling was a senior Norwegian military officer who by collaborating with the Nazis became nominal head of the puppet government of Norway during the Nazi occupation and was complicit in the torture and murder of Norwegian patriots and the oppression of the people.

Fears Over Threat To Sovereignty Could Wreck EU European Army Plan

Although the idea of a European Army has attracted wide criticism from people who understand the thrast to the sovereignty and identity of individual nations European Union, heavyweights France (cheese eating surrender monkeys) and Germany (erstwhile master race), the main supporters of merging all the EU's 28 member states into a single, federal Islamic republic under Sharia Law, on Thursday backed a new and highly controversial proposal for a pan European border control force with powers to unilaterally deploy to member states unable or unwilling to manage their borders.

While perfidious Gaul and the duplicitous Bosche (not French and German people, you must understand but the elites who select themselves as definers of the national character) say this border force would control the flow of illegal immigrants to Europe, we only have to examine the track records of the socialist Crapauds and Krauts to understand the more likley outcome would be that Fritz and Francois would stand and wave through rapists, murderers, AK47 toting Islamic rage boys and suicide vest wearing Islamist nutters,

The border and coast guard project is advertised as being chiefly aimed at protecting Europe’s external borders in countries like Greece and Italy as they struggle to manage the arrival of hundreds of thousands of people fleeing conflict or poverty for better lives in Europe. But a codicil to the proposal presents the idea idea that the agency, commanded from Brussels, could send ships, planes or other military assets to a country even if it opposes the deployment. This is the fly in the ointment that has reviving old fears about a loss of national sovereignty to unelected officials at the EU’s executive Commission in Brussels. It has also sparked speculation that the increasingly dictatorial Angela Merkel is steering Germany back towards its old bad habits, and the weak cowardly socialists of the French government are willing to settle for the role of sidekick to the squarehead bully boys.

Countries further north in Europe like Germany and Sweden — the preferred destinations of many migrants — are keen to have tighter controls to ease the flow of people, as is France.

“The external borders must be protected. I’m entirely in agreement with the proposal from the European Commission on a border guard,” French President Francois Hollande told reporters at the EU summit in Brussels.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel also underlined that she “very strongly supports” the plan.

Before chairing the summit, European Council President Donald Tusk acknowledged that the border agency is a "most controversial idea" but said that passport-free travel in the 26-nation Schengen area would be compromised if Europe’s outside borders are porous. "Europe cannot remain vulnerable when Schengen states are not able to effectively protect their borders", he said So what would The Tusk rather have, Poland controlling its own borders or a German army of occupation. Given what happened between 1938 and 1945 I somehow don't think Poles would be very happy about inviting armerd German soldiers into their country.

The new Army of the European Reich European border agency would have a standing reserve force of at least 1,500 border guards that could be sent to EU border crossings within three days, rather than relying on time-consuming calls to nations for volunteers during emergencies. But for some, the plan touches at the very heart of national identity — a country’s right to decide who or what can be deployed on its territory — and Greece, Italy, Croatia and Hungary were expected to oppose it.

A senior EU diplomat, speaking on condition of anonymity because no decisions have yet been made, said it was unlikely that the European Commission would ever order the border guard to a country that objected, as that would mean imposing an occupying army.

The proposal is just the start of a potentially long and divisive legislative process. Still, the EU has planned a 2016 budget for the agency of 238 million euros ($260 million).

France: Left and Right Unite In Desperation To Keep Power

France’s Front National (FN), disappointingly but unsurprisingly failed to win a single regional government in French regional elections on Sunday (13 December, 2015) despite being comfortably ahead in the popular vote after last week's first round. Following a smear campaign that branded Front National as right wing extremists and neo - Nazi, and some pretty unsavoury political chicanery between the socialists and conservatives, which made a mockery of french democracy, voters were scared back to traditional parties. The Socialists led by President Francois Hollande (Le petit crapaud) and former President Nociolas Sarkozy (Le petit ver) had ordered their candidates to withdraw from the run off votes and advise supporters to vote for their traditional rivals in orderr to keep FN out of power.

Similar ploys were used by Consrvatives and Labour in the British election to prevent UKIP winning seats where the anti - EU party was doing well, and by Swedens Social Democrats, Christian Democrats and Marxists to stave off an early election that would probably have seen the anti EU Sweden Democrats become the second largest, if not the largest party in Sweden's national assembly.

The leader of the anti-immigration FN, Marine Le Pen, lost out to the centre-right opposition in the northern Nord-Pas-de-Calais Picardie region after the ruling Socialists pulled out of the race before the second round. Her 26-year-old niece Marion Marechal-Le Pen was also defeated by the centre-right grouping after socialist candidates had withdrawn in the southern region that includes the glitzy resorts of the Cote d’Azur, despite dominating the first round last week.

The FN had topped the vote in six of 13 regions on December 6, but once again suffered in the second round of an election as the establishment parties used bullying and scare tactics to win support from many dissastisfied voters who had declined to cast a vote in the first round. With turnout high on Sunday at around 59 percent, the centre-right grouping appeared to have won at least five of the regions.

It is astonishing how widespread this interchangeable political label thing really is. It has worked since 1992 for Labour and Conservative Parties in Britain, though they make different noises when campaigning the policies in government are as different as bean curd and tofu (It is the same in the USA and Australia and I suspect in Germany, Spain, Italy etc.) Everywhere in the developed world the politically correct consensus seems to hold sway in politics, education, public service and the media. And while the elites have not started burning heretics as the medieval church did, people who challenge the dogma can end up in a lot of trouble.

The loss of national sovereignty since joining the EU and handing over power after power to unelected bureaucrats in Brussels through treaties must have contributed to this melting pot between different factions we call politics these days.

It seems as if the sovereign nations of western Europe are being groomed to become nothing but centrally controlled province of the United States Of Europe. It has seemed so for a long time, as if, eventually, the bankers and corporate money only want to deal with 28 oligarchs, a similar to Putin's Russia - the nation EU leaders spend so much time demonizing.

In the end however, French voters may regret their craven desire to cling to the status quo, the politics of failure. The choice between le petit ver (the little worm), Sarkozy and le petit crapaud (the little toad) Hollande is not really any choice at all.
