Father of A.I. Shocks Everyone With His Newest (Scariest) Creation

We are told at least once a week that 'scientists' have made some great advance in computer technology and in just a few years we will have been overtaken in terms of intelligence by the machines we created. Strangely, computer scientists were saying exactly that when the first program I wrote was loaded to a LEO computer from punched paper tape just over fifty years ago. and yet we seem to be no nearer creating any software that can be compared to human intelligence, (nerds may argue with that, but nerds are not human.)

Computers have advanced enormously since I wrote that dodgy bit of COBOL of course, what has not changed is our total inability to define what makes us intelligent in a way that animals (and nerds) are not. What I'm talking about is our ability to deal with abstract ideas and imagined situations.

Will humans be overwhelmed by the power of Artificial Intelligence? Not only do many scientists believe we will but they seem eager for it to happen. So far however, we have many perdictions of what A I will do, but in practical demonstrations tests have to be rigged to favour a machine that can parse and filter vast amounts of data very quickly over a human brain that actually thinks. So is it really likely we will become Slaves To The Machine any time soon?

Well, Dr. Louis Rosenberg – founder and CEO of Unanimous AI, believes that human swarming may be able to amplify human intelligence and buy us some time, if not change the outcome entirely.

In my estimation the man is clueless. He says we "need to be cautious." WTF does that mean? If these 'God complex' scientists were truly cautious, they would stop what they are doing altogether. They are the quintessential useful idiots, doing the bidding of their corporate masters without question. Scientists do not do these things for money, fame maybe, but the main motivation seems to be that they are obsessed with doing something difficult. The people who financially support their work are motivated by the wealth and power, but the scientists are too detached from reality to see the sinister agenda behind all this technology push.

We have already come too far too fast. Human societies evolve as animal and plant species do and technology has imposed more change than our societies can adapt to in the time we have had. It goes beyond the laws of nature and natural progression. Without humans or beings of consciousness, all that exists is meaningless. No, the tree does not make a sound if it falls with nobody to see or hear it. No, the sun setting behind the mountains is not beautiful unless a creature that can handle abstract concepts such as beauty can see it and understand beauty. Our newest creation implies purpose. Our waning lack of humanity is proof that we have failed to keep up. I'm seeing my peers and more alarming, youth who just find no reason to exist anymore. And it is alarming how many among the generation we call The Millenials simply do not understand the central metaphor behind the zombie movies and TV series of the past twenty years, such as 28 Days Later and The Walking Dead. We are becoming obsolete because we have outsourced our business to machines and willingly accepted the collectivist lie that all which makes us human is irrelevant. There is a time to say, no more.

One of the thoughts that occurred to me as I listened to this interview was regarding his statement about values and A.I.; he said the software incorporates human values. The question is, "Whose values? Which human? Jesus, Hitler? Hillary Clinton, Jeffrey Dahmer, Fred West, St. Teresa, a Mafia crime family or someone like Mohandas K Ghandi. All are human beings, but fundamentally different values. Do we kill unwanted babies, the sick and the elderly? Or do we teach them all humans have intrinsic values inherited from our pagan ancestors who created the earliest civilisations?

Militant anarchists staged a second day of violent protests in Hamburg as the G20 summit in the city held its first sessions. According to local reports, at least 45 people have been detained and 159 police officers have been wounded in clashes. For the second day, police had to resort to water cannon to disperse protesters from various neo - fascist groups (OK, we know they call themselves anti - fascist but the pathetic little university dumbed down idiots do not understand was fascism is,) while buildings and dozens of cars were set on fire in the suburb of Altona.

Reuters reported: "for the 1,000 hard-left militants who wreaked havoc on the streets of Hamburg, German Chancellor Angela Merkel could not have chosen a better location to hold the G20 summit." That's because the dense, urban environment allows them to disperse and hide easily, and the city is full symbols of the wealth they detest - from the gleaming 800 million euro ($913 million) Elbphilharmonie concert hall to the shipyards that build luxury yachts.

US news netwok CNN, the world's biggest Fake News generator reported Merkel had chosen Hamburg deliberatelt to humiliate Donald Trump. This is typical of CNN's Fake News, Hamburg was selected as the venue for the summit a year ago, long before Trump was elected US President.

As the July 7-8 summit started on Friday, Black Bloc anarcho - fascists and other anti-capitalist protesters sat in groups on main intersections, blocking streets leading to the summit venue as well as a road used by trucks at Hamburg Port. The previous night they hurled petrol bombs, torched cars and set rubbish on fire.

Police were forced to deploy water cannons, tear gas, and riot control tactics, but could not prevent the destruction as they found themselves underprepared and short-staffed.

Many fires burned and 130 police officers were injured after "international left-wing extremists" rampaged through Hamburg’s streets in opposition to the summit and presumably democracy itself.

After Thursday night’s so-called "Welcome To Hell" demonstration numerous fires were still burning in the streets on Friday morning and thick black smoke hanging over large parts of the city. This shows the stupidity of the leftist thugs of course, such mindless violence does not affect the world leaders attending the summit, it only hurts the ordinary citizens of Hamburg, the poor in particular.

It wasn't just cars: The Local's Emma Anderson reported that she was walking through the places hit by rioting. She has seen a bank with its windows smashed in, boarded up shops, and more burned out cars.

Hamburg police were forced to call in reinforcements from other parts of Germany, as Chancellor Angela Merkel condemned the violence wrought by demonstrators as "unacceptable". Merkel said she could understand peaceful protests, but demonstrations that "put people’s lives in danger, put the protesters' own lives in danger... are unacceptable". Hundreds of hard-left activists forced US President Donald Trump's wife to cancel her programme for the day.
Ahead of a planned concert this evening for G20 leaders and their spouses at the port city's new landmark Elbphilharmonie concert hall, protesters were concentrating their efforts at blocking access to the site.

These emotionally crippled left wing activists do not care who gets hurt by their irresponsible behaviour. Their motives are entirely selfish, they seek to impose their oppressive, undemocratic solutions on the world in order that they may advance the globalist, authoritarian agenda and to their brainwashed minds the end always justifies the means.

US Build Up In Syria Prep For War With Iran?

Although reports on the conflict in Syria say forces of the US led coalition are poised push ISIS out of its remaining stronghold in Syria, the city of Raqqa, which as declared the capital of the "Islamic Caliphate" back in 2013, and in Iraq government troops, supported by Iranian elite regiments and Russian air cover are engaged in mopping up operations after the last ISIS terrorists were driven out of Mosul, a degree of scepticism is, as always, necessary when considering news out of Syria.

The U.S. and its allied forces had entrenched themselves in the southeastern Syrian border town of al-Tanaf, in the hope of cutting off a major highway linking Damascus to Baghdad and thus gaining control of all south east Syria. Althogh Washington is now claiming that defeating ISIS is the only objective of the US military action inside Syria, we should keep in mind that right up until the end of his presidency, Barack Hussein Obama regularly repeated that his priority in Syria was to depose Assad. So what are those American troops doing there, blocking a vital artery connecting two Arab allied states in their own fight against terrorism? Well irrefutable evidence exists that US efforts against ISIS were at best half hearted, in fact three years of US - NATO efforts against ISIS achieved nothing, three months of action by Russia and Iran in support of Assad had the terrorists retreating on all fronts.

“Our presence in al-Tanaf is temporary,” Col. Ryan Dillon, spokesman for the Combined Joint Task Force of Operation Inherent Resolve (CTFO-OIR), said of the U.S.-led campaign against ISIS, via phone from Baghdad. “Our primary reason there is to train partner forces from that area for potential fights against ISIS elsewhere…and to maintain security in that border region and de - escalation zones agreed with Russia.” The Russian Foreign Affairs department say they know nothing of such zones and have certainly never agreed to the esablishment of such areas.

The U.S. is giving up its hopeless position at the Syrian-Iraq border crossing near al-Tanf in south east Syria. The U.S. military had earlier bombed Syrian forces when they came near that position but it then found itself outmaneuvered, cut off from the north and enclosed in a useless area.

Since May 18, when U.S. airstrikes first targeted Syrian military columns approaching al-Tanaf, American forces have shot down two Syrian drones and bombarded Syrian - Iranian troops several times, citing “self-defense” in justification of each incident In that same period, however, it appears that the al-Tanaf-based U.S. backed "moderate rebels" have notengaged ISIS fighters at any time.

Bouthaina Shaaban, political and media advisor to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, questions that rhetoric: “When asked what they’re doing in the south of Syria, they say they’re there for their ‘national security,’ but then they object to the movements of the Syrian army – inside Syria?”

She is correct. As this blog has stated many times, under the terms of the United Nations charter and international law, any foreign military presence in a sovereign state is illegal "unless specifically invited by the recognized governing authority," and as President Assad of Syria has stated many times, while Russian and iranian troops are in Syria legitimately, having be asked to assist in combating ISIS by the Syrian government, the US - NATO coalition have no business there at all and are legitimate targets for Syrian and Iranian bullets and Russian fighter planes. The invaders are trying to circumvent the law by claiming that Syria is “unable or unwilling” to fight ISIS and the threat to international security it poses. But “unwilling and unable” is clearly not the case as Syria has done much better against ISIS since warning from Russia's President Putin put a stop the the USA and Turkey's arming and funding the terrorists.

An April 2017 report by IHS Markit, the leading UK security and defense information provider, asserts that the Islamic State fought Syrian government forces more than any other opponent over the past 12 months. “Between 1 April 2016 and 31 March 2017,” says the organization, “43 percent of all Islamic State fighting in Syria was directed against President Assad’s forces, 17 against the U.S.-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and the remaining 40 percent involved fighting rival Sunni opposition groups – in particular, those who formed part of the Turkey-backed Euphrates Shield coalition.”

In other words, during the period when IS territorial losses were most significant, Syrian forces fought ISIS more than twice as often as U.S.-backed ones. Which accords with our reports that regime change was always the US priority and while Obama was in power his love of Muslim extremists afforded ISIS a level of protection.

France to 'ban all petrol and diesel vehicles by 2040'

France plans to impose a total ban on all petrol and diesel vehicles by 2040, its new environment minister, Nicolas Hulot, has announced. We told you after the French elections the new president, the grandmotherfucker Macron, was a clueless idiot who would continue the same politically correct globalist agenda that led to the failure of his predecessor Francois Holland's government and the near complete collapse of the socialist party.

The unrealistic plan was one of a series M. Hulot revealed at a press conference this morning as part of French president Emmanuel Macron's plans to make France a carbon neutral country by 2050. All around the developed world, sustainable energy experiments are failing, with only the long established hydro - electric technology and nuclear fission as realistically reliable energy sources for clean electricity there is nothing to support such ludicrous claims. There is however, plenty of evidence to show Macron's government is descending into farce even more quickly than that of socialist Francois Holland. With the 'scientific' case supporting Carbon Dioxide driven global warming in ruins (see article below), this latest idiocy merely compounds the impression that France is being run by a bunch of student protestors.

Can it be coincidence that President Macron's environment minister is the namesake of comedian Jaques Tati's greatest creation, the shambolic Monsieur Hulot, a sort of proto - Mr. Bean (video clip: Mr Hulot's holiday.)


Hulot, the apprentice politician, a former star wildlife TV presenter, announced "the end of the sale of petrol or vehicles between now and 2040."

French car owners will be offered financial inducements to scrap their conventional vehicles - including second-hand ones - for clean, green, pimped - up mobility scooters, he said, without providing more details.

Mr Hulot cited the example of a "European maker" who had already decided to go electric. This was a reference to Volvo, which on Wednesday announced plans to build only electric and hybrid vehicles starting in 2019, making it the first major car manufacturer to abandon cars and SUVs powered solely by the internal combustion engine.

CEO Hakan Samuelsson told reporters the move was prompted by customer demand although other makers are not reporting any rush to buy overpriced, underperforming electric cars. He pledged that in two years, all new Volvo vehicles will have some form of electric propulsion. This is obviously a lie, we know Swedes are politically correct to the point of stupidity and beyond, but sales of electric vehicles are only increasing marginally year on year in spite of government subsidies to buyers. When Denmark ended tax subsidies on electric vehicles, raising prices for 2017 sales by 40%, sales plummeted to less than half of what they were.

"The solutions are there, our own makers have in their boxes the means to fulfill this promise," said Mr Hulot, calling it a "public health" issue. Well maybe the solutions are out there, but not in Denmark obviously.

France is by no means the only country aiming to ban combustion-powered cars in some form. Germany wants to do away with 100 per cent combustion-powered vehicles by 2030, as does India. The Netherlands and Norway wish to do so by 2025.

It was not immediately clear if Mr Hulot meant a ban on even partially petrol or diesel-powered vehicles.

The minister also said that France will stop producing power from coal-power stations - now five per cent of the total - by 2022. The country also wants to reduce the proportion of its power from nuclear to 50 percent by 2025, from the current 75 per cent.

Italeave or Quitaly? The EU Is Falling Apart

Since the shock of Britain voting for ‘Brexit’ just over a year ago this blog has been speculating on which EU nation to quit the former free trade association that is being driven by Germany and the globalist elites closer and closer to becoming a single political enity, a Federal superstate (called Germany?)
Our money has always been on Italy although we hedged our bet with a wager on Hungary. And it’s starting to look as if we were correct.

Under the headline Is Italy heading for debt restructuring or euro exit? Financial newsletter Eurointelligence reports that a possible programme for Italy’s leaving the Union is already being discussed in the Italian parliament by the likely partners in a ruling coalition following the next election.

We are reporting from an important conference in Rome yesterday that has caught the Italian news headlines this morning – on the future of Italian public debt. It was organized by the Five Star Movement, held in the Italian chamber of deputies, and openly discussed issues such default mechanism inside the eurozone, sovereign debt restructuring mechanisms, parallel payment systems, and of course euro exit.

What is important about this debate is that it is now taking place in public – you can’t be more public than inside the parliament. Italians, not only the Five Star Movement, are openly talking about these issues.

One of us was on the podium, where we reiterated our criticism of the Five Star Movement’s previous-held cavalier notion of a euro referendum. The essential point we were trying to make in the debate, well reflected in this morning’s coverage by the main newspapers, is that euro exit is not a decision to be taken lightly. The announcement of a referendum would produce a financial crisis and might turn into a self-fulfilling prophecy. Euro exit belongs to the category of things that, citing Shakespeare’s Macbeth, “if it were done when ‘tis done, then ‘twere well It were done quickly“.

What struck us about this event was the sheer political leverage. Luigi di Maio, the presumptive Five Star candidate for the job of prime minister, seemed to distance himself from supporting euro exit. He sat through the entire 12-hour marathon of discussions. Beppe Grillo and Davide Casaleggio made short appearances. It was very clear that the Five Star Movement is now aggressively tackling the topic of Italy’s future in the eurozone, which is likely to become a major election issue. It also raises questions, as some Italian commentators did this morning, about possible coalition choices for the party if it adopts a more nuanced position on the euro.

A lot of space was given to a discussion on fiscal money – coupons issued by the state to people for use in tax payments. We recall that Yanis Varoufakis worked on a similar scheme for Greece, and one of his advisers at the time gave some details of how such a scheme can be made to work and why it did not work in Greece. The answer is that it requires an extraordinary degree of technical and logistical preparation that is outside the scope of what most governments are physically capable of.

Conferences such as these never reach consensus, but they bring up questions. One of the questions on fiscal money is whether it is sustainable or merely transitional. Is it just an instrument through which a country transitions to a new currency, or just a short-term liquidity measure, or can it work as a supplemental form of money?

Another discussion that struck us was a paper by Alberto Bagnai and Brigitte Granville, who did a stochastic simulation of the costs of euro exit. They noted that there would be an initial cost but that strong counter-cyclical growth would soon resume. The problem with this simulation is that it does not take sufficiently into account the multiple financial shocks that are likely to be dominant during such a phase. Euro exit would do major damage to the financial system both of Italy and the eurozone. The authors have a variable that includes a banking crisis, but we do not think this does justice to the financial Armageddon we are likely to see after an Italian euro exit.

And finally, we noted a comment by Heiner Flassbeck, formerly at the German finance ministry and Unctad, who noted that there can be no solution to the eurozone’s persistent crisis unless one insists on symmetric adjustment in the eurozone. He advocates the strategy that Italy should make a credible threat to leave the eurozone in order to force a German policy shift.

All of Italy’s major political parties, except for the  Democratic Party, the party of Matteo Renzi’s failed government, have flirted with supporting moves to leave the Euro. The current front runners in polls, not that polls are a predictor of outcomes, as we have learned several times recently, with only the french election reflecting polling figures and it is widely suspected that the French result was decided before a single vote was cast.

The path to Italeave is not easy, a referendum and a constitutional change will be required before any decision can be ratified, but trouble is brewing on a huge number of fronts simultaneously:
The Italian banking system is insolvent.

Another refugee crisis is brewing as flimsy, overloaded boats bring thousands of new illegal entrants every week.
Italy’s youth unemployment is a whopping 37%
The ECB is the only buyer for Italian bonds and yields are at record levels
Italy’s debt to GDP ratio is over 130% to the consternation of Eurozone officials
The global recovery still is not happening or EU members.
It is no longer taboo in Italy to talk of leaving the EU or taking back control of the nation’s borders.
Any number of things could start a chain reaction making Italeave look good to a majority of Italian voters. And despite the recent stitch up of Five Star movement in local elections, the other anti – immigration, anti – federalisation parties, Liga Nord and Forza Italia made big advances.
And when Italy goes, more will follow, at an accelerating rate we predict.

Russia & China sign $10bn deal to ease ruble-yuan settlements

While the USA seems set on continuing the policy that dominated the State Department's approach to foreign affairs throughout the presidencies of George W Bush and Barack Obama by trying at every opportunity to provoke the other great military powers, Russia and China are playing a very different geopolitical game.

As our Currency Wars omnibus page has reported many time, the Russo - Chinese campaign, supported by Iran and several of the emerging economies is to undermine the US$ and replace it as the de facto global reserve currency. If successful this would effectively cripple the US economy.

This week, in the latest move to establish an alternative international trading system to the Pertodollar, The Russian Direct Investment Fund and the China Development Bank (CDB) agreed to create a Russian-Chinese investment fund worth 68 billion yuan ($10 billion).

The agreement was formalised by Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping during an official visit to Russia by the Chinese leader.

The new fund, named the Russia-China RMB Cooperation Fund, was created to make settlements in ruble and yuan. Both Moscow and Beijing have repeatedly talked about the importance of payments in local currencies for bilateral trade. In the past few years Russia and China, with support from Iran, have signed up many partners to their system of setting cross - border trades in the vendor's national currency.

The money will be used on infrastructure projects in Russia and China. Particularly to projects linked to One Belt One Road (the 21st-century Maritime Silk Road) scheme and the Eurasian Economic Union.
"The Russian-Chinese investment cooperation fund in yuan will be a major stage in China-Russia investment partnership, supported by the governments of both countries, which will stimulate the growth of direct investment between the countries and promote a significant increase in the number of Russian-Chinese projects," said CDB Chairman Hu Huaibang.

"We are pleased to announce a partnership with the China Development Bank and provide an opportunity for Chinese investors to invest in their national currency. It will give a powerful impetus to increase the volume of cross-border direct investment and significantly increase the number of jointly implemented projects," said Russian Direct Investment Fund chief Kirill Dmitriev.

If recent events are anything to go by, 2015 is set to be another year of 'interesting times' as China, Russia and Iran square up against the American bid for global hegemony and continue their efforts to see the US dollar dumped as the global reserve currency and the oil trading system known as The Petrodollar replaced by bilateral trades being settled in the currency of the vendor nation.

We don't know how this will turn out yet of course, but given the fragility of the US economy which is dependent on borrowing and already overburdened with debt (as we reported previously) the USA is not in such a commanding position as its leaders like to imagine. As the BRICS, Russia, Brazil, India, China and South Africa form closer economic bonds and given that Iran is a long time ally of both Moscow and Beijing, there will undoubtedly be further moves towards the economic integration of Eurasia

Moves against the dollar started before that of course, even before Bush mark 2 entered The White House there was widespread dissastisfaction with the way the US used dollar dominance to force deals on weaker nations that seriously disadvantaged them in dealings with US based global corporations. Most recent examples of this were TTIP and TPP, the trade deals that would have given corporate lawyers the power to overturn laws made by the democratically elected governments of sovereign nations.

India's Cashless Society set to fail but slide to fascism goes on

On 17th July 2017, India will elect a new President through a vote of the elected representatives. The contenders are Ram Nath Kovind and Meira Kumar. Few people outside his own family know who Kovind is and voters are only vaguely aware of Ms. Kumar.

India will get a complete nobody as its next President. Both candidates are from the Indian province of Bihar. If it were a country, Bihar with its 119 million inhabitants would be the 12th most populated in the world. With a GDP of USD 420 per capita, it would also be among the world’s ten poorest countries.

While the world has been focused on events in Syria, Yemen, the USA, Europe and its immigration crisis, the USA and the Democratic Party's idiotic attempts to overturn the 2016 election result, and in the South China Sea, there has been little coverage of some serious political trends in the world's second largest nation by population. Adults and juveniles have been arrested all over India for celebrating Pakistan’s victory over in a recently held cricket match between the two countries. They are being prosecuted for sedition, a charge that has serious legal ramifications and could lead to life improsonment. With the British gone for 70 years, India’s laws and institutions seem to have lost their rational anchors and is becoming as fragmented, tribalistic and chaotic as it was before British rule.

In the presidential race Kovind is from the "lower caste" and is supported by the Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, who would like to make up for recent atrocities against the lower classes. While he is a nobody with hardly any public credentials and a machine politician, Kovind is sympathetic to resurgent Hindu fanaticism and has the support of Hindue extremists.

The position of the Indian president is similar to that of The Queen in the British constitution. If the prime minister decides to impose martial law, he needs the president’s signature. With Kovind’s appointment, Modi will have installed the yes-man he needed at the top of India’s institutions.

Many Indian commentators living outside the coumntry hve said Modi India is very rapidly moving India towards becoming a police state, that will have a strong Hindu extremist faction as its core.

To a populace not anchored to reason, if one votes for Hinduism, one will go for Kovind; and if one is pseudo-secular and wants to look pro-women, one will vote for Kumar. Kovind will very likely win for no other reason than the fact that Modi and his party BJP have higher support than Kumar.

Many wealthy and so-called educated people who have never used a bank card. Many simply won’t trust a machine. Most are incapable of learning how to use the cards. With people tired of corrupt, untrustworthy and unpredictable banks and payment portals incapable of providing reliable services, cash is coming back with a vengeance.

The economy, however, continues to be stagnant. Businesses continue to fail. If not for economic reasons, businessmen have grown tired of corrupt and rapacious bureaucrats and an extremely uncertain regulatory regime. Look at an Indian businessman and you will see an unhealthy, tired, soulless person.

Even today, vegetables sell for half as much as they normally do. Are poor people going hungry? Do not expect news on this in the media, which must toe the line of the Indian government.

If food is so cheap, does it not indicate that poor people are unable to buy? Are they going hungry? Moreover, if farmers continue to suffer and cannot profit from their produce, what effect will that have on the future food supplies? [Ed. note: the collapse in food prices was originally triggered by the government’s overnight cash ban]

Money — even in fiat currency form — is the blood of the system. Once the blood flow was stopped, even if it is fully revived later, clots will have appeared and organs will have failed. That is happening in India today. Job growth was already stagnant, but the situation is much worse now, making India’s so-called demographic asset, which never was an asset, a massive liability.

Domino effects continue to work their way up the food chain. Formal and big businesses are beginning to show signs of stagnation. Members of the salaried middle class are losing their jobs, but they have so far failed to connect the dots and continue to support Modi.

On 8th November 2016, Modi declared 86% of the monetary value of India’s outstanding currency illegal. Even today, ATMs remain cashless. The banks are clogged with throngs of people. Small businesses — the backbone of India’s economy — keep failing, because people continue to avoid discretionary spending.

People have suffered economically as the smooth flow of the economy was disrupted, and transaction costs for businesses have increased. Food prices have recovered a bit recently, but are still at about half their previous levels. Unfortunately, this is not because production has increased, but because demand has collapsed, with many of the poorest people likely unable to buy food.

Over a billion people in India have no access to internet. When it is available, it is often very slow. Electricity is unreliable. Bank websites are extremely unwieldy. To make an online transaction, the login process is usually very complicated, often requiring several steps and verification codes sent as text messages.

More than a month ago, I paid online for a flight ticket from Delhi to London. The money left my account, but I never got the ticket. It was virtually impossible to get in touch with the Indian company I had bought the ticket from. When I did finally manage to contact them, they told me that they had refunded the money. The bank says it never got the refund. Of course, I have had to personally visit the bank every time and spend a long time waiting to talk to someone. In this electronic day and age, more than a month after the event, no-one knows where my money is.

It is hard to pinpoint who deserves the blame. Indians are extremely unskilled, uneducated (despite paper certificates aiming to prove otherwise), and lack work ethics. They almost never have passion for their jobs or an interest in providing good services to their clients. This is the main feature characterizing many Indian companies. Management and owners lack professionalism and are singularly focused on the bottom-line, by hook or by crook, eschewing true value-addition.

India’s attempt to go digital will fail. Digital cash will fail. E-commerce companies will fail. In India, the national ID-card system, Aadhaar, will fail. The GST system will likely fail, or it will at least create massive problems in implementation. All these programs will impose huge costs on the economy and the well-being of entrepreneurs, including the wretched poor in the large informal economy.

India is looking for totalitarian solutions to deal with problems created by totalitarianism and tribalism. India is trying to use the the facade of the technologically advanced West hoping that the packaging will automatically deal with the lack of inner substance. Fail even with respect to superficial issues seems preordained.

India’s government cannot provide basic services to its people. Ambulances are conspicuous by their absence. But Modi wants to move on to doing bigger things. In the last 70 years of independence, Indians have systemically destroyed the institutions of the rule of law that the British had bestowed on the country.

There is a lot of pain and no gain facing India. If they had any sense they should be begging the British to return and rule the country. That is the only option apart from chaos, disintegration, and eventual never-ending tribal infighting among the fragments.

Macron's Dodges Press Conference - Says Mind 'Too Complex To Answer Questions From French Journalists

While EU leaders and globalists such as Angela Merkel are still celebrating (somewhat prematurely) the and of the upsurge in nationalism, many French voters are already regretting that they allowed themselves to be railroaded into voting for an untried candidate with little political experience, and tainted by association with Hollande's failed administration in which he was for a short time finance minister.

Recently elected French President Emmanuel Macron has cancelled the traditional Bastille Day (July 14) president's press conference because, he claims, his thoughts are 'too complex' for media questions.

Macron, whose position was only consolidated on June 19 when his 'party' (mostly members of former President Hollande's discredited socialist party government) won a majority in the national assembly, has earned the wrath of French journalists and television reporters, after he declined to take part in the traditional question and answer session on Bastille Day because the format "doesn't lend itself" to his complex thoughts.

A source in the Elysee Palace told the French newspaper Le Monde that Macron does not "baulk" at talking to journalists, yet that is exactly what he has done. Macron is of course one of those elitists who believe globalism and the uncontrolled immigration of even more unskilled, illiterate economic migrants from areas where societies are dominated by fundamentalist Islam is what France needs to tackle rising unemployment and.

"We thought about what form the speech should take, and the President chose a more stately form," the source explained.

Since the 1970s, French leaders have usually held a news conference on Bastille Day, the anniversary of the storming of the Bastille by thousands of Parisians in 1789, an event which freed political prisoners and effectively ended the hegemony of the French aristocracy..

The explanation for the snub was greeted with disbelief by journalists in France.

"I don't understand," Le Monde's political commentator Olivier Faye tweeted ironically, while Vivien Vergnaud, editor of Le Journal du Dimanche called it "the best excuse of the year."

Writer and journalist Michel Taube, founder of the "Opinion Internationale" website, said Macron's reluctance to face journalists' questions is a sign that he has no intention of trying to explain his ideas and policies to ordinary French citizens.

"This only reinforces the general impression that has been highlighted by all observers: the new President of the Republic, Emmanuel Macron, is so absorbed in presidential duties that he has in some way forgotten that he is a person."

"I think that journalists, especially those of Le Monde, Le Figaro and others — and with them the citizens of France — are able to understand the complexity of the international situation and the world problems that President sees himself as too important to to talk about, but citizens – have the right to expect words from the head of state. Words, not just pictures," Taube said." Taube said.

"In 2017, a political leader is obliged to speak – simply, precisely, strongly – about the problems he has to face in the name of the French people."

Macron is showing exactly the kind of mindset one would expect from the high earning elitists of the financial world. It seems the French President's strategy is to distance himself from the media and the people and communicate only through photographs of himself and his elderly wife grinning inanely as they greet other world leaders.

"Oh look, citoyens of France, your President is a very important man, he shakes hands with Arab despots, African tyrants, Russian oligarchs and American billionaires with silly haircuts, but he has no time to talk to you."
