Kier SStarmer and his Labour government have been congratulating themselves on the number of illegal immigrants and bogus asylum seekers who have been removed since they came
into office: some 9,400, of whom around 2,600 were forced removals. The
rest, we assume, were voluntary returns, of whom there were 609
Brazilians including 109 children.
Whitehall sources reveal that the Brazilians were given £3,000 each to be flown home. That’s £1.82million. There is no information available on how many of the other voluntary leavers were given £3,000 to go. If they all got the same, seven thousand at £3,000 each comes to £21million. Add to this the estimated cost of around £12million for the 30 or so charter flights used to transport them and we find that Sir Keir Starmer’s government have cost the taxpayer some £33million to remove about 9,400 migrants with no right to be here.
In spite of all this the flimsy, overloaded, inflatable rafts still cross The Channel from France every day come, and every day more hotel space is given over to housing and feeding, as the taxpayers' expense, people who have no right to be in this nation.
The numbers arriving, in smal boats, large boats, freight containers via the channel tunnel and who knows what other routes vastly outnumber the removals, nonetheless, we welcome the increase in removals and deportations, which are essential for deterring illegal migration and restoring public confidence in border control. They should send a clear message: if you come here illegally, or overstay your leave, you’ll be sent home.
Sir Keir SStarmer claims he has a plan to deal with illegal mass migration, it’s anyone’s guess what that plan is though abolishing all border controls so there is no such thing as illegal immigrations seems to be a contender.
‘Smash the gangs’ is a slogan, not a policy. The asylum backlog ballooned under the Tories. Labour’s approach will make it worse. As Migration Watch keep saying, the traffickers know that once their clients are on the water, they’re as good as landing in England. And that’s why the boats will keep coming, the hotels will remain full and why the traffickers will go on getting richer.
Even with Labour’s increases in deportations, the UK’s legal framework remains a significant barrier to removing illegal migrants. The Human Rights Act, in particular, acts as a lifeline for those whose asylum claims fail. Appeals drag on for months, sometimes years, as migrants cite Article 8 (the right to family life) or Article 3 (protection from inhumane treatment) to block deportation.
A point which nether politicians nor mainstream media are eager to mention is the simple fact that many of these illegal migrants arrive from conflict zones or countries with repressive regimes such as Iran, Afghanistan, Syria, Yemen, Sudan or Somalia, having passed through a number of ‘safe’ countries to get to the UK. So why don’t they apply for asylum in the UK from the first safe country they have entered. International law, as I understand it, provides a process and system for doing just that?
I’d suggest most 'asylum seekers' avoid it because they would very likely have their applications denied because they are not really seeking political asylum but are simply economic migrants who have chosen UK as their destination because of our generous benefits system and laxity in enforcing immigration laws.
The point here, which I and thousands more alt_media writers have been making for over ten years and which Reform UK are campaigning on, is that these illegal immigrants can be returned to the ‘safe’ jurisdiction from which they came I.e. France! Then there can be no claims to block deportation as they are being sent ‘back’ to the ‘unsafe’ country they came from, where they will face persecution and, SHOCK, HORROR! violations of their human rights.
They have no right to enter the UK illegally and unchecked. Another issue which needs addressing is the cause for these migrants wanting to come here in the first place. As we all know, our government are actively inviting them to come here via the gov.uk website which explains all the benefits and support that is available to them once they get here, and this effort is supported by several NGOs funded by Marxist billionaire psychopath George Soros who has mad the destruction of European civilisation his life's work.
The law should simply state, that if you arrive in the UK illegally, without any documentation or ID, you will get nothing other than arrested, securely detained, processed and immediately deported. Until this happens, nothing will change.
Irreversible damage is already being caused, not to mention the threat of a potential army of young extremist males being here illegally! Though it is like to get much worse if it is not stopped sooner rather than later.
