Russia's Biggest Air Attack Yet Strikes Ukraine Government Complex In Kiev

 

 SUNDAY 7 SEPTEMBER 2025: Russia's bigest ever aerial assault on Ukraine struck the capital Kiev early this morning. At least nine missiles and hundreds of drones made impact on Sunday, local officials said. Some sources on the ground report the  assault may be seen up to 1,000 projectiles launched.

Crucially for the progress of the war, this is the first ever aerial strike directly targeted Ukraine’s main government complex in the heart of central Kiev. Government buildings in the capital have thus far been sparred in the Russian 'special military operation' (SMO) - but Sunday's attack suggests the Kremlin could be turning toward all-out war. It appears that once again the Russian's are trying to ram home to Ukraine the message, "You've lost, now stop fighting," because today we also learned that Putin had invited Zelensky to Moscow to negotiate a ceasefire but Zelensky, true to form behaved as if the Ukies are winning by telling the Russian's Putin would have to go to Kiev.

Sunday's attack will certainly cause European leaders to ramp up pressure on Washington go to ahead and unleash Trump's threatened secondary sanctions on Moscow and its trading partners. European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen quickly took to  social social media, to criticise The Kremlin's latest strike on the Ukrainian capital.

The Existential Threat Of AI Is Overhyped - Artificial Intelligence Is Incredibly Stupid

 

All the talk at the moment seems to be about Artificial Intelligence (AI). Will it destroy the global economy, will it put billions of people out of work because it can do their jobs faster, more efficiently and less expensively, will it enable total surveillance and micromanagement of all human activity thus empowering generations of tyrants, will it surpass our intelligence, is it an existential threat which will eventually turn on its creators and destroy us? 

True, there are thousands of fun things you can do with AI. It can fake your voice accurately and animate a photo of you, them send video messages that appear to be from you to complete starangers and make you look an utter twat, compose pleasant but boring, soulless music and paint pretty but similarly soulless pictures. It can edit videos with nice results for TikTok. It can write an instant, technically perfect (but soulless) poem or lyric of anything. It can instantly bang out an article on any topic. In every case, the results are delightful and very impressive.

And yet in every case, the results are obviously generated by a machine. Once you learn to recognize the telltale signs, it is unmistakable. And then the whole experience becomes boring and unimpressive.

People ask me if I as a writer felt threatened by this machine learning and instant prose generator. The answer is a simple but emphatic NO!. Good writing, well constructed stories and articles and good ideas comes from a spark that only the human mind can generate. No matter how sophisticated AI gets, it can never reproduce this. In fact, I find it amusing how bad this software really is. In simple terms, the people who wrote the AI software really have no idea what intelligence is or how it works (nobody really understands this,) and so can only work with the data string matching techniques programs have used since I loaded my first effort from punched paper tape to an English Electric LEO III mainframe in 1968.

The search Engine I use, Duck Duck Go has recently introduced an AI search assistant. Yesterday I wanted to buy a stand mounted food mixer with dough hooks and search assistent helpfully displayed in a text window an accurate description of what a food mixer with dough hooks is and does. Very nice, its a pity the thought never occurred to the A I engine that if I didn't know what a food mixer with dough hooks is and does I would not have been able to ask that specific question.

The AI generated information Search Assistant generated was in a way quite revealing however:  "A stand mixer is ideal for making dough as it provides consistent kneading with less effort. The Ankarsrum Original Stand Mixer is highly recommended for its unique design that effectively handles bread dough, while the KitchenAid models are also popular for their versatility and power," which told me that far from assisting my search, the software is an ad server (for ridiculously expensive equipment great for a restaurant or professional kitchen but totally inappropriate for my kneads (pun intended).  

What the software had done in that answer  in a way that mimics thought but without the slightest spark of any creativity, much less any hint of understaning the scope of the question. A sales clerk in a shop or a telesales person would have asked at once something like, "Do you need it for home use or a catering business?" In other words, AI is capable of astonishing feats data  collation and presentation  but utterly incapable of actual intelligence. It’s like a sophisticated parrot: seeming to speak English but in reality only mimicing noises without any understanding of what they may mean. Very similar to a fondly remembered British TV stunt from the 1980s featuring a talking dog (YouTube video). The dog could only say 'sausages' but at least dogs can apppreciate  sausages wheras an AI bot could not. 

Two CEOs of prominent A I startups, Sam Altman of Open AI and Anthropic’s Dario Amodei have invested a lot of money and effort to  hype a speculative and unproven hypothesis called scaling i.e.  training AI models on ever more data using ever faster hardware would lead to AGI (artificial general intelligence) or even *superintelligence* which surpasses humans.

LLMs (large language models whatever than means,), which power systems like Chat GPT, are in reality nothing more than pimped up up statistical regurgitation apparati, so hallucinations, inaccuracies & fallacious reasoning will continue to bedevil them.

To be sure, adding more data to large language models, which are trained to produce text by learning from vast databases of human-created text, helps the models improve, yes—-but only to a degree. Even significantly scaled, the models still don’t *catch on* to the concepts they are exposed to, or know anything about the concepts short of whatever predictive algorithms can lay at their doorstep, which is why the models like chad-gibbity, based on LLMs, botch responses. As I have written at least a hundred times, ' the great thing about computers is they can parse and filter millions of words of data in a few seconds, unfortunately a computer will never have and idea what a single one of those words means.

In other words AI and LLMs are not the stairway to superintelligence heaven.

Another Climate Scare Hoax Exposed - Polar IceMelt Is Slowing, Not Accelerating.

 Those of you who live less than 250 feet above sea level can rest easy. In spite of all the hysterical scaremongering about polar ice melting and sea levels rising from the Cimate Catastrophists, a new study, (one of many to produce the same result, none of which have made headline news, or even been fully eported in mainstream media, has shown that in fact polar ice ment (a yearly occurrence between May and September in the Arctic and November to March at the Antarctic ice cap,) is actually slowing.

This is welcome news for people who live neaer the coast but does not make much difference to be as my house sits 500 feet above sea level, and is a positive disaster for billionaire psychopaths like Bill Gates and others who have planned to scam governments out of obscene amounts of money for schemes to save the planet by, for example, spraying clouds of chemical dust in the upper atmosphere to shut out sunlight.

A new study published in the journal Geophysical Research Letters finds that contrary to many mainstream media reports, the amount of sea ice in the Arctic has not changed appreciably over the past two decades.

After the significant decrease in 2012, many researchers studying climate change claimed it was a harbinger of a permanent decline in Arctic sea ice due to climate change. Of course, sea ice waxes and wanes each year, but beginning in 1995, sea ice began a general, relatively steep decline, reaching its nadir in 2012 and then stabilizing amid yearly ups and downs.

This new research indicates that the popular reading of the situation was wrong. The measured decline slowed as early as 2005 and annual losses remained low or even flat, with the exception of 2012. If this research is correct, over the entire 20-year period arctic sea-ice loss has been slow and minimal. As the international team of mathematicians and physicists from the Universities of Exeter in the U.K. and Columbia in the United States write,

Over the past two decades, Arctic sea-ice loss has slowed considerably, with no statistically significant decline in September sea-ice area since 2005. This pause is robust across observational data sets, metrics, and seasons. … The modeling evidence suggests that internal variability has substantially offset anthropogenically forced sea-ice loss in recent decades.

Despite the authors’ claims that barely measurable sea-ice loss, a loss that is not statistically significant, is consistent with climate model projections for short periods of time ...

Move Aside USA and Europe, Putin, Xi and Modi Meet In China To Plan A New New World Order.

The three major Eastern powers, also the major playrs in the BRICS economic bloc met in China this week and vowed to increase collaboration as part of a broader challenge to Western supremacy in the already-emerging multipolar world.

While left leaning mainstream media spun the event as more proof of the Trump administration’s ineptitude, Russian media heralded it as “one of the defining political events of 2025.” The 25th annual Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit was held in Tianjin, China, this year. The heads of Iran, Pakistan, Turkey, Belarus, and other Central Asian and Caucasus states also attended.

The multi-day event began with the Chinese, Russian, and Indian heads of states embracing, a gesture mainstream Western foreign-policy pundits quickly interpreted as more proof that the Trump administration’s foreign policy is a failure. 

While the United States hit India with high tariffs for buying Russian energy, it did not add any to Russia’s largest energy client, China. During the summit, Xi took a thinly veiled shot at the United States and its Western allies. He said that SCO members should “oppose the Cold War mentality, bloc confrontation, and bullying practices.” Xi also said that SCO members “should advocate an equal and orderly multipolar world and a universally beneficial and inclusive economic globalization, and make the global governance system more just and equitable.” The issue of a multipolar world came up repeatedly. Non-Western leaders have made it clear that they seek a global order in which the West doesn’t hold the most power. 

What we see in the output from the Tianjin summit is that althought Obama, Biden and Trump have tried to contain the rise of China to superpower status their ham fisted efforts have only pushed Russia into the arms of China. And now Trump has managed to push India into the arms of Russia and China.

The absence of strategic thinking in the 'West' is palpable.

The ongoing meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization is, like similar meetings of BRICS, just one building stone of the new  new world order Xi and Putin are planning. Many more will be needed. A clear outline of the new order has yet to develop: Chinese President Xi Jinping on Monday proposed the Global Governance Initiative (GGI) at the "Shanghai Cooperation Organization Plus" Meeting in Tianjin."I look forward to working with all countries for a more just and equitable global governance system and advancing toward a community with a shared future for humanity," Xi said when addressing the meeting.

He highlighted five principles for the GGI:

• First, we should adhere to sovereign equality.
• Second, we should abide by international rule of law.
• Third, we should practice multilateralism.
• Fourth, we should advocate the people-centered approach.
• Fifth, we should focus on taking real actions.

Nice concepts and words. I agree with them. But where is the beef? At some point muscles will be needed to back them up.

BRICS is a collection of traditional, nationalist Capitalist governments. They are not revolutionary and their particular economic systems, China included (!) are not "Socialist" at all. The wage slaves in every one of these nations are heavily exploited and kept out of power as a class.

Yet, none of the BRICS is Imperialist. None of them seek to destroy other countries and murder their peoples for economic advantages. Russia acts only to defend it's national interests in Ukraine. None of them want war. Moreover, China has implemented a number of reforms with which it limits the destructive power of Capitalism on its own people and holds it's billionaires firmly in check, so that they do not determine policy.And none haroburs an ambition to gain full spectrum dominance like the USA or a Global Technocratic government (Davosocracy) like The World Economic Forum. 

For all of these reasons, the BRICS are the best existing alternative and opposition to the putrid Imperialism of the West. They have my critical support. A world under their system would be a great improvement on a world under the genocidal Imperialist duo of US/Israel.

Nonetheless, nobody should expect them to take action to stop human rights violations and even outright genocide that does not effect their national interests.

They are not trying to save the wage slaves of the world, they are not seeking to end mans exploitation of man, they are not seeking to expropriate the billionaires and use their wealth to improve humanity.

 Is it possible that the mature thinkers in the SCO and BRICS are ensuring that they leave the enemy with some means of escape? When one is dealing with those who may believe they are exceptional, separate from nature, and immortal, one has to consider the possibility that such adversaries will resort to nuclear blackmail or manufacture armageddon. The adults in the room have to finesse such ignorance, hubris and spiritual madness to sustain a viable future.

One more thing that seems to be ignored by policymakers and political commentators in the West is that China and India are the heirs of extremely old civilizations that are culturally robust to an extent that those in the West who talk of concepts like international law and globalism deliberately refuse to understand. China has almost always followed Confucian doctrines, again something the West and, in particular, its intellectual class have deliberately refused to even try to understand as they wage war on traditional cultures. While Confucian, or any culture (in the west Greco - Roman culture has been influential although the influence of Celic and Germanic cultures is probably understated,) can go through periods of corruption, its guidelines offer a quicker move to re-balancing than the culture of the West, with its obsession with the future and, more recently, fantasy, can approximate. The West is headed for internal degeneration--all China has to do is wait. There is no need for the SCO or BRICS to "hurry up and do something" the fruit will land in their hands soon enough--this should be obvious to anyone who has a strong background in history, anthropology, or sociology.

Irish Comedy Writer Graham Linehan Arrested For Hate Crime Tweets About Transgenderism In UK Governments Latest Attack On Free Speech

Irish writer Graham Linehan, co-creator of  the iconic and iconoclastic TV comedy show "Father Ted",  revealed on Tuesday he had been arrested at London's Heathrow Airport on suspicion of inciting violence in connection with posts on X about transgender issues.

 

Recounting his arrest in a lengthy post on his Substack blog,  Linehan wrote: “The moment I stepped off the plane at Heathrow, five armed police officers were waiting. Not one, not two – five. They escorted me to a private area and told me I was under arrest for three tweets.

While he was being questioned, a check by a nurse showed his blood pressure was dngerously high and he was escorted to a hospital, where he was placed under observation.

 

He said, "I looked at the single bail condition: I am not to go on Twitter," he said. "That's it. No threats, no speeches about the seriousness of my crimes — just a legal gag order designed to shut me up while I'm (in) the UK, and a demand I face a further interview in October."

 

Linehan has been a prominent critic of transgender activism on X, formerly known as Twitter, and other platforms but all he has done is cite scientific fact to challenge ideological dogma. He is due to go on trial later this week on separate charges of harassment and criminal damage involving a transgender activist.

This case marks the latest instance of police investigating online comments while crimes including shoplifting soar, despite Labour pledges to tackle such offences.

“In a country where paedophiles escape sentencing, where knife crime is out of control, where women are assaulted and harassed every time they gather to speak, the state had mobilised five armed officers to arrest a comedy writer for this tweet. I promise you, I am not making this up.”

He certainly isn't. In the Socialist government's most blatant attack on free speech to date, he is not the first celebrity to learn the hard way that criticising any of the protected minorities or sacred ideologies will never, in any circumstances, be tolerated.

What a mad country the UK has become. Rape someone and your chances of going unpunished are good in fact if you are dark skinned and you victim is white you have more chance of going to the moon than of going to prison. Walk into a store and waltz brazenly out with a couple of hundred quid’s worth of goods you haven't paid for and the police will send you on your way with a cheery wave. But call transexuals  nasty names or suggest that they might merit a whack in the chops for their deviant behaviour and it’s cuffs on and they'll lock you up and throw away the key. No wonder there is such an ugly mood in out towns and rural areas as the white, secular or Christian, British people's rage at the betrayals of successive governments threatens to explode.

What had Graham Linehan done to deserve such treatment, you might well ask, murder? arson? trying to sneak a couple of hundred cigarettes through customs? Actually he was arrested for a what has become a far worse crime than any of these in  SStarmer's National Socialist Britain. On 19 April, he posted an image of a transactivist protest in London along with the caption “a photo you can smell”. When challenged by a user for the “unnecessary comment”, he replied: “I hate them. Misogynists and homophobes. Fuck em.” A third 'transphobic' item was posted on 20 April, and in it Graham wrote: “If a trans-identified male is in a female-only space, he is committing a violent, abusive act. Make a scene, call the cops and if all else fails, punch him in the balls.” 

All of which would be perfectly reasonable in a sane country of course. So why is the law supporting insanity, why are our politicians, judges, police and the media pandering to weirdos who think that in order to change from biological male to female all they have to do is click the heels of their Dorothy shows three times and wish and they will be instantly transformed to a fuly equipped member of their preferred sex. Do you ever wonder what the hell is going on in this once great country?

We must consider that a hidden agenda may be at work here and that the government has taken sides against the people it serves. There is a possibility that the purpose of high profile arrests such as this is not primarily to try and enforce a particular ideology, polarise the general public and set factions against each other to prevent us unitig against a ruling eliite that has betrayed us, or even to suppress free speech. Rather, it’s to make people who sympathise with Linehan's view on Transgender ideology (which we Boggart Bloggers do,) angry, resentful, perhaps a bit scared, and on the look out for someone or something on to which to pin the blame – and someone or something to make it all right again. People with such a mindset are much easier to manipulate and control because they give up their agency. We must be fearless in defending our right to free speech.

If there is some truth in this, or even if there is not, it is incumbent on all of those who agree that Linehan’s arrest is outrageous not to get angry, and not to get led into followership of one or more politician, influencer, or journalist who might promise to “make everything right”. They too may be subsequently captured or manipulated (and may well already have been so) and may lead their followers down blind alleys.

Rather, we must take a deep breath, know that it is wrong, try to stay calm, compassionate and open to and understanding of others’ perspectives, and do whatever is in our power to push back, locally, quietly, and our own individual ways.

New Peer Reviewed Research Paper Claims COVID Vaccines ‘Unleashed Profound Harm’

Close on the heels of a scandal in The Netherlands where attempts by unidentified agencies to prevent a court case that could expose the huge Covid vaccines fraud from going ahead we learn that a new peer-reviewed study published in an American medical journal suggests that the SARS-CoV-2 virus responsible for COVID-19 shows signs of deliberate genetic engineering and that these features, including the spike protein also found in the mRNA COVID-19 vaccines, are responsible for widespread health harms globally.

The study, authored by 11 scientific and legal experts, was published in the fall edition of the Journal of American Physicians and Surgeons.

The authors content that the man-made features of SARS-CoV-2 and the mRNA COVID-19 vaccines are probably the outcome of controversial gain-of-function research, in violation of the United Nations’ Biological Weapons Convention.

Gain-of-function research, which artificially increases the transmissibility or virulence of viruses, is frequently used in the development of vaccines.

According to the paper, the spread of COVID-19 in 2020,  followed by the  incredibly rapid development of mRNA vaccines and their rollout in 2021 resulted in unprecedented profound harms to human health, ranging from “autoimmune diseases and cardiovascular catastrophes to pregnancy complications and aggressive cancers.” This blog reported at the time that before the vaccines were released the makers acknowledged that they would not confer immunity on perople who accepted the shot, and also that previous efforts to develop mRNA vaccines were abandoned beacuse of safety issues with the gene editing technology.

“Far from benign, these vaccines have unleashed profound harm, disrupting nearly every system of the human body and contributing to unprecedented levels of morbidity and mortality,” the paper states.

Dr. Andrew Zywiec, principal physician at Zywiec & Porter, is the paper’s lead author. He said the paper reveals a “pattern of harm too consistent, too pervasive to be dismissed as chance.” 

So, all those unfortunte coincidences when people fell ill and died shortly after receiving their first, second or third shot. were not coincidental at all then? 

According to the paper, the SARS-Cov2 virus “displays multiple genomic features indicative of laboratory manipulation,” including its furin cleavage site, which “enhances infectivity” and which is “absent in SARS-like viruses found in nature.”

Again this was reported in Original Boggart Blog and Boggart Abroad at the time. It has also been iterated my many respected scientists. 

Several other features of the SARS-CoV-2 virus which causes Covid “enhance immunological evasion and aerosol transmissibility,” making the virus “unusually durable … and five times more stable in air” than other respiratory viruses according to the research.

“These combined traits, along with the virus’s mutation patterns, are strong evidence that SARS-CoV-2 could not have evolved naturally,” the paper states.

The paper also cites two peer-reviewed medical journal articles authored by military scientists stating that SARS-CoV-2 contained “evidence of manipulation” that makes the virus an “attractive pathogen” due to its features, which resemble those of a biological weapon.

Leaked Ukraine Casualty Figures Suggest Russia's Real Military Strategy

Developments in the Ukraine conflict, especially the leak of Ukrainian casualty number showing an astronomical total of 1.7M either Killed in Action or Missing in Action; and the Ukrainian collapse north of Pokrovsk a stategically important population hub which now it is no longer an obstacle clears the way for Russia's advance to turn into a rout as Ukraine's poorly armed and trained soldiers drop their weapons and run.

Leaked military files have confirmed that the Ukraine Armed Forces have lost more than 1.7 million troops, including both those killed and missing, since the outbreak of full scale hostilities between the country and Russia in February 2022. A digital card index acquired by hacker groups from Ukraine’s Chief of Staff has provided details on dead or missing personnel, including their names, details of their deaths, and personal data of their families. The information indicates that 118,500 personnel were killed or went missing in 2022, 405,400 in 2023, 595,000 in 2024 and 621,000 so far in 2025, which corroborates with a growing body of evidence which has emerged over more than three years that attrition rates have increased tremendously and unsustainably. 

It is likely of course that a sizable portion of those listed as Missing In Action have simply fled to Poland, Romania, The Balkans or Russia itself. Despie Ukrainian propagada releases alleging war crimes, massaces and attacks on schools and hospitals the Russians have fought an extraordinarily clean war in Ukraine, but it should be understood that there is a very legalistic shade on that assessment. They've killed very few civilians. 

Ukrainian propagandists, perpetually beclowning themselves trying to pretend that the usual single-digit handful of injured civilians that accompany the latest attack using hundreds of standoff weapons fired into city centers (producing secondary explosions visible from outer space as military targets hidden among civilian infrastructure are destroyed with surgical precision) somehow constitute  rather than some of the most well-controlled warfighting in the history of the business. In reality the only genocide related to this war was the ethnic cleansing of Russian speakers by the neo - Nazi regime in Kiev between 2014 and the Russian invasion in 2022. 

Russia stated their grievances with Ukraine before the war and then, stated their objectives when they were forced to intercede in Ukraine...and have not changed or been unclear about them, in any way. It is the Kiev regime that have prolonged the war, even though their strongest allies are urging them to surrender, and by their making outrageous demands of Russia every time peace talks are arranged, as if they are winning and Russia has beeen crushed rather than vice versa, that have scuppered every peace initiative so far. It should be clear to western leaders falling over themselves to join in pressuring Trump to give Kiev more destructive and technically advanced weapons that the Ukies do not want peace but are determined to drag NATO into active combat.

There is another and far darker side to Russia's "clean" war, however, and ironically Ukraine's actions have actually assisted Russia in advancing its aims..

Let us consider the fate of the Armed Forces of Ukraine - legal combatants all, whom the Russians can and do target and kill without limit. The casualty leak mentioned earlier needs to have a line drawn under it - one point seven million personnel killed or missing in action in the AFU, over the course of the war. 1.7 MILLION. Seven or eight percent of Ukraine's prewar population, probably something like a quarter of the entire national cohort of military-aged males, dead or missing. Casualties on the scale of a genocide, sufficient to permanently cripple any postwar Ukrainian nation. The determination of Kiev to fight on grows more expensive by the day. Zelensky and his government are too dense to crunch the numbers.

Casualties multiple times that which a United Nations assessment described as sufficient to shatter the AFU.

The Ukrainian collapse north of Pokrovsk two weeks ago, in which a run-of-the-mill Russian attack walked through twenty kilometers of Ukrainian defensive belts and into open country shows the state of Ukraine's military collapse.

The Ukrainian propagandists tried to deflect attention from the collapse by whining about how the single most important front sector for the AFU had somehow "run out of infantry."

But did the Russians throw in a mobile reserve to collapse the front and chase the AFU back to the Dniper, despite doubtless knowing full well what was going on? No, they did not - they consolidated in the breach and awaited the inevitable, panicked Ukrainian counterattack, in which they would have the opportunity to destroy Ukraine's remaining elite troops. However that is not Russia's real military strategy. 

The Russians have had countless opportunities to make large advances in this war, especially recently - the Ukrainian front line is an absolute shambles and their "drone wall" tactic will falter against any serious attack. So ineffectual is the AFU that very few Russian moves at the front even face serious opposition these days, with most geolocations of Russian advances showing them already established in place and dealing with harassment by kill drones after having seized positions bloodlessly. The Russians have in fact consistently foregone breaking the front and taking swathes of ground in favor of killing the largest possible number of Ukrainian soldiers on the existing front line under the existing attritional combat dynamic. 

 Commenting on the information, Ukrainian member of parliament Artem Dmytruk reported: “The lists of the missing today contain more than a million people, and of course these people are most likely dead, while their families remain in complete ignorance. The situation is tragic, the situation is frightening.” 

The question that should be asked isn't if Russia wants to eradicate Ukrainians en masse.

It certainly is the current strategy, but Putin wouldn't have sat down in Istanbul in 2022 and hashed out an agreement if that was the initial purpose.

The real question that the thinkers need to be asking is if Zelensky's (and his handlers) actual goal in all of this was to kill of white, Slavic Christian males en masse, disguised as valor, because they have done all they can to ensure Russia will not now accept the very reasonable terms they offered Ukraine in 2022. 

Increasingly, I'm convinced this is the case.
