Protest Becomes Open Rebellion In Europe As Farmers Uprising Against 'Green' Policies Spreads To Other Industries.

As this blog has been reporting since the late summer of 2022, farmers across many european Union member states including France, Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, Belgium, Romania, have been gradually esclating a campaign of protest against the globalist policies beimg imposed by the EU and implemented by far left governments. The campaign started in Netherlands when the recently ousted government threatened compulsory puchase of farms that did not reduce nitrogen emissions by culling livestock. The Dutch farmers protests mainly took the form of obstructing major transport networks with tractors. 

Over the past eighteen months this campaign has become a widespread populist movement and is sweeping Europe at a time when over-regulation, high taxes, nonsensical 'net zero targets and the climate change agenda threaten the livelihoods and living standards not just of farmers but of working-class people in a wide range of industries. An even bigger worry for the now - panicking elites is that the transformation of a campaign by disgruntled farmers into a widespread non - violent (so far) comes several months before the campaigning for election to the European Parliament gets under way in in June. 

Some countries hit hardest so far by protests have been Netherlands, Germany, Italy, and France. Protests have already spread to Poland and Belgium and are expected to reach Spain and Portugal within the next few days. 

On Tuesday (30 January,), France's new prime minister, Gabriel Attal, promised farmers emergency funds and stricter trade controls on foreign products to guarantee fair competition but the farmers' union said it was to little too late and encouraged their members to continue the fight which the protestors appear to be doing with considerable enthusiasm. 

"I'm so proud of you," Serge Bousquet-Cassagne, head of Lot-et-Garonne department's farmer's association, told protesters in the south of Paris, adding

"You are fighting this battle because if we don't fight we die." 

Meanwhile, Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin told local TV station France 2 that police were preparing to defend strategic areas of larger cities. 

"They can't attack police, they can't enter Rungis, they can't enter the Paris airports or the center of Paris," said Darmanin, adding, "But let me tell you again that if they try, we will be there."

One gets the feeling that the minister may prove to be disastrously wrong. Will French troops fire on French citizens if ordered to do so or will they mutiny. This is how close EU member states have come to civil conflict because of the ruling elite's disregard for the welfare of the people and obsessive commitment to loonytoons ideologies like net zerom critical race theory and transgenderism.

Farmers throughout the world have been protesting the increasing regulations on agriculture. The media is barely covering the story, and when they do mention it, they say that the farmers are protesting due to Russia blocking supplies from Ukraine. This is simply untrue. The farmers are protesting against over-regulation, taxes, and the climate change agenda that is making it increasingly difficult for them to make a successful living.

EU farmers' complaints are very basic:

• Out-of-control energy prices (thank whoever blew up the Nord Stream).

• Disastours carbon-cutting targets.

• Overall inflation.

• Bureaucracy from radicals in Brussels.

• Ukrainian grain imports. 

The demonstrations, which could soon consume Europe, come ahead of the June European Parliament elections.

 The farmers are protesting against over-regulation, taxes, and the climate change agenda that is making it increasingly difficult for them to make a successful living.

The demonstrations, which could soon consume Europe, started off with some humour, such as French farmers in Toulouse dumping dung on the town hall steps, but as steadily edging closer to violence with lorries and cars being overturned and burned and reports that police in some places have opened fire with rubber bullets on protestors.. 

As well as rge big issues listed abover, small farmers are upset that billionaire psychopaths linked to the WEF elites, such as Bill Gates whose agenda is to control everything he does not actually own, are aiming to reset the global food supply chain, a move that could render small-scale farming obsolete in favour of global 'Big Ag' corportations. If We The People are stupid and cowardly enough to allow that to happen, the recent increases in living costs will soon seem like insignificant small change.

A study from the University of Michigan has concluded that, “The carbon footprint of homegrown foods is five times greater than produce from conventional agricultural practices, such as rural farms, data show.

looked at how much CO2 was produced when growing food in different types of urban farms and found that, on average, a serving of food made from traditional farms creates 0.07kg of CO2.

The impact on the environment is almost five times higher at 0.34kg per portion for individual gardens, such as vegetable patches or allotments.”

Jake Hawes, a PhD candidate at Michigan and first author of the study, said: “The most significant contributor to carbon emissions on the urban agriculture sites we studied was the infrastructure used to grow the food – from raised beds to garden sheds to pathways, these constructions had a lot of carbon invested in their construction.

The study, published in the journal Nature Cities, recruited 73 urban agriculture sites around the world, including Europe, the US, and the UK, and conducted a comprehensive life cycle assessment on the site’s infrastructure, irrigation and supplies.

German Farmers’ President Pledges Unprecedented Mass Action In Protest At The Government's 'War On Agriculture'

Civil unrest is brewing in Germany as farmers threaten action that could bring down the fragile coalition that rules the country. The threatened protests are a response to the government’s plan to end tax breaks for agriculture, with the German Farmers’ Association (BvD) President  Joachim Rukwied stating that enactment of such a policy amounted to a “declaration of war.” He is now threatening mass protests at a time when the government’s approval rating is at a record low and over two-thirds of Germans say the current government should resign.

“We will not accept this,” Herr Rukwied said in Berlin on Monday after thousands of German farmers blockaded roads around the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin to protest the left-wing government's plans to remove tax privileges and subsidies which farmers currently benefit from.  "If the federal government did not withdraw the unreasonable proposals without replacement, farmers would make sure there was “a very hot January” with further protests planned. from Jan. 8. We will be everywhere in a way that the country has never experienced before,” the farmers' president warned.

The actions are similar to Dutch farmers protests against crackpot new regulations imposed by the EU, which included plans to seize farms idenified as  contributing to climate change by releasing nitrogen into the atmosphere. The Dutch farmers' actions were a factor in the instability of the a pro - EU government which collapsed earlier this year, and the rise of populist parties whose campaign rhetoric gives the impression they are willing to listen to the concerns of the people rather than aligning policy with the agendas of a financial elite. Last month, Geert Wilders’ victory following snap elections in the Netherlands sent shockwaves through the political foundations of The European Union.

Germany’s hotchpotch coalition government made up of the far - left SDP, the loony left Greens and the globalist, pro EU Free Democrats wrongfooted the  farmers by annnouncing their that tax breaks were ending for agriculture during Advent as political activity wound down towards the Christmas holiday , but the respomse was instant and mass protests ensued, as, in common with their Dutch colleagues, German farmers perceived that they are being made a target of an anti - capitalist agenda. The government believes it can save up to €900 million a year by ending the tax breaks, even as it plans to funnel €36 billion towards migrants in the same year.

In response to the penalties imposed on farmers, 3,000 people attended the protest on Monday, many of them rolling into the demonstration near the Brandenburg Gate on tractors.

When Agriculture Minister Cem Özdemir attempted to speak at the farmers’ rally, his speech was interrupted at several points, with the crowd chanting, “Traffic lights out,” in reference to the ruling “traffic light” government to which Özdemir belongs.

Dutch farmers block roads with tractors in protest of government plan to seize thousands of farms over “climate change”

With the cost of energy and food prices already sky high and set to go higher, the , billionaire psychopaths who own the world's governments are off on their most insane, gencidal ego trip to date. They have declared war on the food that sustains us. The European Union (a wholly owned subsidiary of the World Economic Forum, having for decades paid farmers across the 27 member states handsomely to let productive land lie fallow and latterly doled out even bigger subsidies to farmer willing to abandon the management of their land and let it return to nature, having failed to completely remove the gas essential to all lifeforms, Carbon Dioxide from the atmosphere, is now setting itself up to remove another esstential gas, nitrogen - which accounts for 70% of the air we breathe.

A globalist government in The Netherlands has already launched a policy which will result in the enforced closure of most farming activity throughout the country in order to save the planet from “global warming.”

Although there is absolutely zero evidence that nitrogen either directly or indirectly influences the climate, plans are already in motion to shut down an astounding 3,000 privately owned Dutch farms that have been deemed as “polluters” because of their nitrogen “emissions.”

Nitrogen is an element that is vital to all life forms. To the globalist-infiltrated Dutch government, however, it is a “pollutant” (as we have reported HERE and HERE,) that must be eradicated. Back in the summer of this year, Dutch farmers swarmed the streets with tractors, blocking traffic while they dumped manure piles in front of government buildings. With the latest revelations of the government's plans for the ruiniation of the country's most important exporting industry the tractor boys are at it once again with a second round of protests using similar means.

“These reductions are so severe that those rural communities will be totally devastated economically,” warned Sander van Diepen, a spokesman for LTO Nederland.

In total, 11,200 Dutch farms will need to go, says government

Reports from inside the country's political establishment say that the farmers whose lands are being targeted will receive monetary offers that the government considers “generous.” They will have the option to take the cash and run or not take it and probably end up worse off because once designated as being in a nigtrogen emissions free zone the land will have no value.

If the land the government plans to free up cannot be used for farming, which makes up a sizable portion of the Dutch economy, then it is useless, economically speaking. The Dutch, demonstrating how sneaky and malfeasant the globalist movement is government will be hoping that farmers will see they are trapped, have been shafted by Marxist ideologues, and will reluctantly take the cash and give up their land without a fight.

At first, it was just 600 farms that needed to go. Then that number ballooned to 3,000. Now, the latest figure being thrown out by Dutch globalists is 11,200 farms will need to shut down completely in order for The Netherlands to reach the European Union’s (EU) economically suicidal climate goals.

Another 17,600 farms will need to significantly reduce their livestock numbers in order to remain in compliance. Bearing in mind The Netherlands is one of the largest exporters of dairy produce in the world, this is an absolutely insane proposition that will utterly destroy the Dutch agricultural system, not to mention the country’s economy.

In moves typical of the neo - Nazi tactics favoured by globalists, Dutch farmers and their allies taking to the streets in protest of this ever-expanding climate tyranny have been subjected to heavy handed treatment by the FASCIST plod. Police, in some cases, have come in with heavy equipment to tip over the farmers’ tractors, some with farmers still inside of them.

In other instances, farmers who were standing peacefully in protest were hauled off in black vans by police jackboots working on behalf of the climate cultists that infest the Dutch politics and the World |Government supporters who have infiltrated just about everything.

Similar violent tactics were used by police during the last round of protests. In one instance, they actually fired live ammunition at a farmer’s child for seemingly no other reason than the boy was peacefully driving his tractor at one of the protest events.

All of this is part of the so-called “Great Reset” agenda of the World Economic Forum (WEF), which has established 2030 as the year in which all climate goals must be met.

Thousands of Dutch farms will be forced out of business to meet new EU 'Nitrogen pollution targets

The globalist technocrats who control The European Union (EU) have enacted new environmental protection laws which will force member states, including The Netherlands, one of the worlds most important exporters of foodstuffs in spite of its small size geographically. To meet the new targets for reducing emissions, which address nitrogen emissions from human activity rather than Carbon Dioxide, the Netherlands government proposes to  shut down a large portion of its farming industry in order to comply with emissions targets predicated upon the the predicted catastrophe known as “climate change.”

Nitrogen emissions have not previously been addressed by the climate activist lobby but with more and more scientists questioning the actual extent to which Carbon Dioxide is reported to affect global mean temperature it seems a 'Plan B' is needed.

Some 3,000 farms lying in areas designated as “environmentally sensitive” in The Netherlands are now scheduled for seizure and closure, according to mainstream media reports a huge increase on the 600 farms that we reported were expected to close back in October due to the 'need' to reduce nitrogen “pollution.”

Following a summer of farmer protests that saw slow moving tractors blockade Dutch trunk roads and cause gridlock in cities as a show of opposition to the EU’s “green” agenda, the Dutch government is still moving forward with plans to cut nitrogen emissions in the country by at least 50 percent by the year 2030. One can only envisage the level of civil unrest growing, the Dutch are fed up with the EU and with their minority government which remains in office only because the anti democracy EU refuses to accept certain Eurosceptic political parties as partners in a ruling coalition. This situation is currently repeated in Germany, Belgium, Spain and Greece and prevailed in Italy and Sweden until recent elections installed populist coalitions in power.

Natherland's Nitrogen Minister (yes, they have appointed a Nitrogen minister,) Christianne van der Wal recently announced that the Dutch government will conduct a “compulsory purchase” of the country’s nitrogen-emitting farms. Farmers who own the land will reportedly be offered deals “well over” what their properties are actually worth. This loonytoons policy seems to be courting economic collapse as it can only reduce the trade of the country's most important exporting industry, cause a huge increase in unemployment and force The Netherlands to become  a net importer of food rather than enjoying the huge trade surplus it has now.

Van der Wal added in a statement that “there is no better offer coming” than the ones her government plans to offer. In other words, farmers can either accept the deal and get something, or reject it and possibly receive very little or nothing while losing their livelihoods. This is an almost perfect deinition of how fascist governments operates.

However, recent research involving academics in the Oxford Martin School’s Biodiversity Institute has shown that despite an increase in nitrogen production through industrialization, nitrogen availability in many ecosystems has remained steady over the last 500 years.

A team of researchers have studied how the atmospheric nitrogen level changes when atmospheric carbon dioxide increases. To do this they modelled palaeoecological records of nitrogen availability from the end of the last glacial period – when carbon dioxide increased rapidly – to recent times, when carbon dioxide levels have risen through the burning of fossil fuels according to climate science orthodoxy. The team collected and analysed data from the sediment records of 86 lakes across six continents representing varied ecosystems. With this data, they were able to compare past and present nitrogen cycling in various regions.
