The farmers, who also protested in Warsaw last week as well as blocking all border crossings between
Poland and Ukraine, were this time backed by Poland’s biggest labor union, NSZZ Solidarnos. In addition truckers, miners, and forestry workers joined this week's protest, which swelled the crowd into the thousands. Dramatic videos similar to the one linked, posted on social media showed the arrest of many protesters and the police using tear gas and riot control batons to break up clusters of protestors. A Polish flag ripped from one man's arms and as he was beaten to the ground. Police say they detained dozens throughout the day. This extreme bout of police violence against the farmers may fuel further protests in the weeks ahead as campaigning for elections to the EU Parliament gathers momentum. Anger has been building in Polands against the minority government of arch Eurofederalist Donald Tusk whose ruling coalition was cobbled together through inducements and coercion as the EU interfered to keep the conservative PIS (law and justice party) out of power. Tusk has invited farmer leaders for talks on Saturday, but so far the concessions he has offered the farmers have only been met with more blockades and rage on the streets. Migrant grooming gang jailed for year-long abuse of 13-year-old sex slave

A migrant grooming gang were sentenced at Newcastle Crown Court after a jury found them guilty on several counts of rape, sexual assault, and actual bodily harm for the abuse conducted between August 2018 and April 2019. The gang members plied a 13-year-old schoolgirl with alcohol and made her their sex slave in a year-long campaign of sexual abuse.

The four men were sentenced at Newcastle Crown Court on numerous counts of rape, sexual assault, and actual bodily harm for the abuse conducted between August 2018 and April 2019.

Three of the attackers, now aged between 21 and 26, arrived in the northeast English city from Syria, while a fourth fled Kuwait and claimed asylum in Britain although exactly what, in safe and stable coutry like Kuwait, he was seeking asylum from is not explained.

The court was told by police officers and witnesses how the “extremely vulnerable” victim was repeatedly abused over a sustained period, in various places including the castle keep in the city center, behind a burger restaurant, and at her own home. She was warned that she would be harmed if she resisted their advances.

Prosecuting counsel, Anne Richardson, told the court that two of the attackers, Syrian brothers Mohamed and Omar Badreddin, were “aggressive and rough” with the teenager and raped her one after the other on numerous occasions.

During one count of rape at her house, the brothers threatened to kill her or traffic her to another country if she protested or told anyone about the attack.

In a victim impact statement, the girl revealed how the attacks had turned her childhood into a “living nightmare” and how she resorted to drug abuse and self-harm after the attacks. The trauma also saw her drop out of school and ruined the lives of her close family members left devastated by the ordeal.

She described being “tortured” and mentally abused by the men and admitted she remains unable to cope with the devastating impact the experience had on her life.

At the sentencing hearing defense counsels for the migrants cited the horrors experienced in war zones in mitigation of their crimes. One explained their client had grown up in Syria during the Islamic State insurrectuion, while another said the brothers had been “haunted” by the horrors witnessed in their homeland, including the death of their older brother.

The asylum seeker from Kuwait claimed to have been “immature and easily led” by the rest of the gang, while the third Syrian revealed he had suffered from childhood cancer and noted he had not been the gang leader.

Upon sentencing the quartet, Judge Rippon said the attackers had treated their victim like a “toy,” using her for their own pleasure with a flagrant disregard for her feelings or desires.

“Even when she begged you to treat her more kindly and told you truthfully she was harming herself and could not cope, you made fun of her,” the judge told the Syrian brothers.

The following sentences, reported by the BBC, were passed down by the court:

• Omar Badreddin, 26, for five counts of rape, jailed for 18 years
• Mohamed Badreddin, 23, for six counts of rape and one count of assault by penetration, jailed for 13 years
• Huzaefa Aleboud, 23, for assault by penetration, two counts of rape, and assault occasioning actual bodily harm, jailed for 5 and a half years
• Hamoud Al Soaimi, 21, for three counts of sexual assault and one assault by penetration, jailed for two years suspended for two years with 180 hours of unpaid work

The Badreddin brothers and Aleboud were also added to the sex offenders’ register for life, while Al Soaimi was added for 10 years.

British Farmers Rebellion Revs Up

Britain is traditionally slow off the mark and true to form after agricultural communities from France to Romania, from Poland to Spain have since November last year been engaging in hugely disruptive protests against rising prices and EU ' net zero' policies that make it difficult for farms to operate economically, Brish farmers at last seem to be joinging in. Farmers brought in Canterbury, Kent to a standstill this weekend when, in protest over food imports, convoys of slow moving tractors stopped traffic moving through the town centre and on the ring road.

The rally caused traffic gridlock across the city which culminated as more than 200 tractors, many bearing placards warning of the dangers of making food production unviable, joined the protest.

Police struggled manage the disruption as some drivers honked their horns in support.

The spectacle was organised by a new organisation, Fairness for Farmers, because of the effect of cheaper food, imported from Ukraine and from the elite's beloved third world countries where labour costs are low and regulations range from lax to non existent, enabl,e food imports to be sold more cheaply than UK farmers can produce it.

The high cost of UK food production is largely due to 'net zero' policies including taxes and levies on enery consumption, restrictions on use of fuel, fertiliser and pesticides, and high labour cost in a high tax society.

Farmers in Cardiff organised a tractor protest against the Welsh government’s new farm subsidy plans last week, which require farmers to allow 10 per cent of their land to be used for trees and 10 per cent for wildlife habitat, thus reducing land available for food production by one fifth.

According to South Wales Police about 3,000 people arrived at the Senedd, the Welsh parliament, while others attached placards to their tractors in  towns and villages across the country.

The Welsh scheme, which is purportedly designed to fight climate change although it is difficult to see how that would work when China is increasing emissioned by more each year than the UK produces in a whole year.However the Welsh government is socialist and common sense was never a strong point of socialism. Farmers' leaders warn it could lead to a 10.8 per cent reduction in livestock numbers and an 11 per cent loss in labour on farms, according to the Welsh government’s own projections.

The protests in Canterbury and Cardiff follow on from action in Kent at the end of last month which saw 20 tractors blockade a Supermarket car park in Ashford and farm vehicles block roads in and out of the Port of Dover.

Polish Farmers Completely Close Their Country’s Border With Ukraine

Continuing their protest that we reported on this page last week, Polish farmers today blockaded all six border crossings between their country and Ukraine, according to Kiev’s border security agency. The move comes after a prolonged cmpaign of disruptive protests by Poland’s agricultural workers against cheap Ukrainian imports threatening their livelihoods, rising costs due mainly to energy price increases and restrictions on their ability to operate profitably imposed by the European Union's loonytoons 'net zero policies.

“As of this morning, more than 2,400 cargo vehicles are waiting in queues” at all six crossing points, State Border Guard Service spokesman Andrey Demchenko told Ukraine’s ‘European Pravda’ news service.

“Not a single truck is crossing the border towards Poland, because they are not allowed through,” Demchenko said, adding that cars, vans, and buses are being allowed to pass as normal.

Polish farmers have been causing delays at the border since November, to protest against an EU rule allowing Ukrainian farmers, hard hit by the war with Russia, to sell their grain in the EU bloc without paying tariffs or abiding by Brussels’ quality standards and other regulations.

The Polish government claimed Poland “wants to help Ukraine, but can’t allow this help to bring very negative effects to our citizens. We are constantly looking for a solution that will protect the Polish market from being flooded with clearly cheaper [Ukrainian] agricultural products,” Prime Minister Tusk said on Wednesday.

The farmers have extended their protest to Poland’s Lithuanian border, claiming that the Baltic state is being used by Ukrainian truckers to circumvent blockades on the direct border crossings with Ukraine.

On top of lifting tariffs on Ukrainian produce, in 2022  the EU, on the pretext of supporting Ukraine's war effort, abolished a rule requiring their beleagured neighbours haulage companies to obtain permits to operate within the EU. Though the move was intended to inject revenue into Ukraine’s transport industry, Polish officials claimed that it allowed Ukrainian truckers to undercut their local counterparts. 

The situation was aggravated when the Kiev regime imposed a queuing system that kept Polish trucks waiting for up to two weeks to return home from trips to Ukraine, while Ukrainian trucks were free to cross the border as often as they wanted.

Boggart Blog is not suggesting the Ukies are stupid, but the neo Nazi thickos in Kiev seem determined to piss off their allies at every opportunity. In another example of the Ukies shooting themselves in the foot, last week Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba claimed last week that the protesting farmers were only doing so because of the influence of a “Russian disinformation campaign.”

Moscow Claims U S Defense Secretary's ‘Freudian slip’ Exposes Washington's intention To Go To War With Russia

 

Testifying to the US Congress by Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin  is alleged to have revealed evidence that Washington has plans for direct military involvement along with its NATO allies in armed conflict with Russia. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov made this allegation on Friday having seen a transcript of Austin's address to the House Armed Services Committee hearing on Thursday. Austin reportedly said that “if Ukraine falls, I genuinely believe NATO will be fighting Russia.”

Lavrov was asked about Austin’s remarks during an interview at the Antalya Diplomacy Forum in Turkey, a NATO member state that has done more than any other to broked negotiations that would end the two year old war.

“He simply made a Freudian slip to reveal what they [the US] had in mind,” the Russian diplomat said. “They used to say they can’t allow Ukraine to lose, because Russia won’t be satisfied and would attack the Baltic states, Poland, [and] Finland next. It turns out, according to Mr. Austin’s frank words, that everything is exactly the opposite. We do not and cannot have such plans, but the Americans do.”

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova further commented on Austin’s apparent sabre rattling, asking if the words were a direct threat to Russia or an attempt to generate excuses for Ukraine. 

“Either way, it’s madness,” she said. “But now everyone sees that Washington is the aggressor.”

According to Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, Austin’s threats proved that “NATO regards Ukraine as its own territory,” which proves that Russia’s military operation is “absolutely justified and correct.”

Austin’s tesfforn etimony was apparently part of a by the White House to bully the US congress into approving a $95 billion foreign aid bill, which would steer more than $60 billion of US taxpayers money into the offshore bank accounts of Zelensky and his bloodthirsty bosses in Kiev. The US and its allies have already sent Ukraine over $200 billion in military, economic, and financial aid for the conflict against Russia – disregarding Moscow’s warnings and objections, while insisting they are not directly involved.

The idea that Moscow will not stop with Kiev and move to attack the Baltic states or Poland next is the latest talking point of the US administration,although it is complete bollocks intended only to scare Americans into going along with te Biden administrations plans to effect regime change in Moscow, as they did in the 2014 coup in Ukraine installing a far right, authoritarian government in Kiev in place of the democratically elected pro - Russian government. Previously the shadowy figures behind the puppet president, demented, geriatric Joe Biden have tried to persuade the U S congress to approve the the indefinite funding of Kiev by claiming Ukraine is defeating Russia on a fraction of the US military budget, and that most of the money would end up going to the American military industry anyway.

Unfortunately for the Washington warmongers Ukraine is not defeating Russia, in fact by any sane assessment of the situation Ukraine was defeated, crushed militarily and economically, a year ago and is only able to keep fighting through the military and financial aid and the technical support provided behind the front lines being provided by the USA and NATO.

Russia found a weak spot in the defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

And this, in turn, creates a window of opportunity for us to make breakthroughs elsewhere. And the greater the losses the Ukrainian Armed Forces suffer, the more difficult it will become for them to “plug the holes with their bodies.” The Russian army continues to advance.
